Leighton Meester is the new face of Vera Wang‘s third fragrance, Lovestruck and the new commercial has a romantic, Romeo and Juliet feel to it.

The Gossip Girl fidgets on a New York City balcony while a very hot guy, who is so enchanted with her, climbs the fire escape to reach her, bringing her a bouquet of flowers that happen to match her dress perfectly!

Her tousled hair and plum colored mermaid style dress are fairy tale worthy and in the end, the two share a very romantic embrace as the flowers tumble to the ground. Radiant Leighton!

While this probably wasn’t everything he got from his older sister for his birthday, this is a pretty cute gift.

Taylor Swift was able to give Austin Swift a great big smile on his face when she surprised him with something a little unusual for his recent birthday: Lederhosen.

Taylor posted the pic on twitter of her and her 19 year-old brother carrying a tankard and wearing the traditional German clothing – lederhosen and tunic – while she looks on with a straight face.

“I finally got to see my brother and give him his birthday present– this outfit I bought in Germany,” the singer said with the accompanying photo.

Taylor, 21, is wearing a milkmaid/farmer’s daughter kind of dress (what no dirndl for you Taylor?)

How cute are the two? Sooo cute!

Lucy Hale is Teen Vogue’s cover girl for the Febraury 2011 issue.

The 21 year-old actress and the rest of Pretty Little Liars cast returned to ABC Family last night (after months of waiting!) with the new episode “Moments Later.” Hale is getting noticed as Aria on PLL and the star says she wasn’t even all that interested in acting at first. Hale says “I wanted to be a singer.”

She tells TVogue about how she got started in Hollywood, maybe music is in her future and the politics of show business:

On how she started out: “I’ve only been living here for a few years. I never thought about acting when I lived in Memphis—actually, pretty much the opposite. I wanted to be a singer. Someone randomly suggested I audition for a few things. I thought, Why not? And I got a role on [Nickelodeon's] Drake & Josh. It was literally just a sentence, but I was so excited to be an actress.”

Is she going to move into a music career? “All I can say is that if I ventured out into that world, it’d be a dream come true. I took guitar a while back, and my heart wasn’t in it at the time, but I’m ready to try it again. I sing in the car, at home—it’s a huge part of my life, especially since I’m from Tennessee. When I’m ready for it, I’m going to dive into it 100 percent.”

On how to handle the back-stabbing world, Hollywood or high school: “There’s jealousy everywhere and tons of politics. The problem is that people in L.A. never really have to grow up,” she says. “Everyone needs to chill out. There’s room for us all.” The solution she found (which, she adds, is “pretty much the same way you should deal with high school”) is simple. She says with a shrug, “Surround yourself with the right people, and realize your own worth. Honestly, there are enough bad people out there in the world—you don’t need to be your own worst enemy.”

Justin Bieber thinks he’s a little bit insane. Bieber, who is kissed on the cover of Vanity Fair magazine for the February issue, says “I’m crazy. I’m nuts. It’s just the way my brain works.” Good thing for JB, he channels that into music.

The teen pop star gives insight into his life, how he tries to stay as normal as possible and how aware he is of other celebs who’ve ruined their careers:

On His Mental State: “I’m crazy, I’m nuts … Just the way my brain works. I’m not normal. I think differently—my mind is always racing. I’m just … nuts. But I think the best [musicians] probably are.”

On His Public Image: “It’s hard to really balance myself. A regular kid, if he catches the flu, he just gets to go home … But I can’t do that…. Everything is important. But, you know, my sanity is important, too. Even if I’m angry, I’ll just put a smile on my face and fake it. I don’t often fake it—what’s me is me….I know I have to give up a lot of myself, or a lot of a private life.”

On Keeping His Head On Straight: “Of course, I think that people are just waiting for that time when I make a mistake and they’re gonna jump on it….There’s gonna be haters … I know I’m not going to make a lifechanging bad decision, as some people have. I’ve seen it happen too many times. I could be my own worst enemy, but I don’t want to mess this up.”

I don’t think Justin is crazy, but the fans who send Selena Gomez death threats because she kissed him are (see those photos here.) He’s young and should be allowed to see who ever he wants without worrying some lunatic fanatics will make her life impossible.

Vacationing in the Caribbean, Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez are photographed looking relaxed and very intimate while sunbathing on a private yacht during the New Years weekend.

Bieber, 16, and Gomez, 18, get caught kissing in the pics while on their downtime together. They have been photographed taking a walk in Miami and eating at iHOP before but nothing as romantic as this.

The two have been dodging questions about their relationship but these photos certainly look like the two are more than casual friends.

Suite Life on Deck stars Dylan and Cole Sprouse have another ‘Got Milk’ ad hitting magazines soon. The twins love milk so much, they are pretty possessive about it:

Dylan shared, “At home, we each get one gallon each and we defend that milk with our lives. If we even sense that there was a drippity drop out of those gallons…”

Cole joined in, “It’s go time.”

Mom’s always pull out your baby pictures at holiday time and Denise Jonas is no exception. Kevin and Joe Jonas might have been surprised to find out their mom posted a picture of the two on her twitter after a night of watching home movies. Denise said:

“Great night-True Grit then home movies from 1990! Joe wasn’t even a year old. Cutest boys ever!”

Kevin looks exactly the same – only older!

Justin Bieber has recorded a song with Chris Brown and Brown sent the word out on twitter that it’s about to drop:

“ME and @justinbieber got a BANGER/SMASH record for all the fans out there at the top of the NEW YEAR!!! 2011.”

Bieber had dropped the duet tip back in October on his twitter saying:

“Kinda hyped rt now. for a new single teamed up with one of my friends and an artist I used to sing covers of on youtube. BIG RECORD. SMASH!!” He then tweeted a video of himself covering Brown’s “With You.”

This could be some serious rehab for Brown’s very tarnished image but could it hurt Bieber’s?

Brown plead guilty to assaulting singer Rihanna in June of 2009. He has successfully completed his community service and the court-ordered domestic violence program but will be on probation for 3 1/2 more years.

Giving credit where credit is due, Brown did step up and took responsibility for his actions and has done everything he’s been asked by the court. He’s kept out of trouble, but what he did to Rihanna was awful.

So the questions remain: Is it time to let him off the hook? Are you OK with Justin choosing to record with Brown?

The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn is so far away but director Bill Condon gave fans a Christmas treat with a simple photo.

Condon posted the holiday set picture on Christmas eve with a quick note:

“Happy holidays from the Swan home to yours” – Bill

Breaking Dawn part 1 is due in November 2011 but will this set end up in in that film or in part 2 in November 2012? Condon is filming both parts together and the ongoing mystery is exactly where he ends part 1.

Emma Watson has a small but key role in the 2011 film My Week With Marilyn. Watson is Lucy, an assistant in the wardrobe department of Pinewood Studios in 1956. The film is based on the memoirs of Sir Laurence Olivier’s assistant Colin Clark. Clark (Eddie Redmayne) was smitten with Lucy and flirted with the costume gal often. Here is the official synopsis:

In the early summer of 1956, 23 year-old Colin Clark, just down from Oxford and determined to make his way in the film business, worked as a lowly assistant on the set of ‘The Prince and the Showgirl’, the film that famously united Sir Laurence Olivier and Marilyn Monroe, who was also on honeymoon with her new husband, the playwright Arthur Miller.

Nearly 40 years on, his diary account ‘The Prince, the Showgirl and Me’ was published, but one week was missing and this was published some years later as ‘My Week with Marilyn’ – this is the story of that week. When Arthur Miller leaves England, the coast is clear for Colin to introduce Marilyn to some of the pleasures of British life; an idyllic week in which he escorted a Monroe desperate to get away from her retinue of Hollywood hangers-on and the pressures of work.

This is Emma’s first non Harry Potter role and the movie has an amazing cast. Besides Emma, Olivier is Kenneth Branaugh and Michelle Williams is Marilyn.
