Demi Lovato & Joe Jonas Are Dating - Demi Confirms
Written by Violet on March 14, 2010 – 6:27 pm -
Demi Lovato finally gave everyone what they’ve been waiting for - a confirmation of her and Joe Jonas’ relationship. The Disney teens have been rumored to be more than just friends for quite some time and the duo had remained (almost) silent on the possible romance. Lovato recently gave an interview to Billy Bush and spilled the deets.
“He’s my best friend. No kind of the opposite [we went from best friends to dating]. Umm, yeah he is my best friend and he is incredible, a complete gentleman. He’s perfect.”
Back in November she took to her twitter to deny the romance saying ““There’s been a lot of rumors lately that I’m dating one of my best friends Joe. I can promise my entire career that I am not. We’ve NEVER dated.” Whenever they began dating doesn’t matter - they seem happy and that’s all that counts.

Robert Pattinson Parade Magazine Interview
Written by Violet on March 11, 2010 – 12:18 pm -Robert Pattinson is making the press rounds to promote his film with Emilie de Ravin, Remember Me. The actor gave Parade magazine a view into his thoughts on asking a girl out on a date, James Dean comparisons and meaningless celebrity. Here is an excerpt:
Dating good, asking girls out, not so good: “When it comes to the opposite sex, I’m not as fully confident as the guy I play. I don’t even remember the last time I asked someone out on a date, like, just went up to them and that’s the first thing I did. I’m much more self-conscious and not wanting to fail. So I tend to hold back.”
The James Dean influence, also good: “I think he was like the most influential person for young guys, especially actors, in the last 50 years. So yeah, I mean, I’m not ashamed to say I am very much influenced by him.”
Finding balance with work and privacy: “You keep trying to make your name stand for something other than just like meaningless celebrity. It’s a difficult battle, but I think people like Johnny Depp have done that. He’s not judged by his public image, it’s just his acting that counts. To get to that place takes a lot of discipline and a lot of hiding.”
Remember Me opens March 12th. Check out major spoilers here (but you were warned - don’t click if you don’t want to know!)

‘The Vampire Diaries’ Zach Roerig Teen Vogue Interview
Written by Violet on February 26, 2010 – 12:59 pm -Zach Roerig is still a small town boy at heart. The Vampire Diaries actor - he plays Matt Donovan, Elena’s (Nina Dobrev) ex and Caroline’s (Candice Accola) maybe current boyfriend - gave Teen Vogue a peek into how he got started acting, his family history with gravestones and a big red barn he’s working on.
On the gravestones: Yeah, my family business was monuments. I’d been doing that since I was able to tie my own work boots. I’m from a really, really small town in Ohio and it was always set up that I was going to be the guy to take over the business. Then in high school, I told my folks I might want to give acting a shot.
Not going into the family business: When I was like 16, I drove to Cleveland every weekend to study at a small boutique acting school–it’s actually the same school that Sean Faris started out at, and that’s how I knew him before he came on the show [as Mystic Grill's bartender Ben McKittrick]. Then three days after high school, I took off for New York.
Summer downtime or If you build it, they will come: Ideally, I’d like to do a movie. But if I’m not, I’ll be in L.A doing some paddle boarding, kayaking, camping, and probably some surfing. I’ll go back to Ohio to finish some work on my barn–we have a family barn that’s really, really old. I’m going to get it stained barn red and get it painted. This is going to sound really country, but I’d like to get it in an Ohio barn magazine or something. I don’t know if there is an Ohio barn magazine–I might even try to get one published.
His barn painting days may be numbered. It looks like Roerig’s storyline and screen time will be expanding as his mom makes an appearance (the characters all find out Vicki is dead) and I like pairing Matt with Caroline on the show. New episodes of TVD return March 25th.

Written by Violet on January 30, 2010 – 3:04 am -Actors constantly have to audition and of course, sometimes it doesn’t go as planned. The Vampire Diaries star Paul Wesley shared one of his experiences with VMan magazine for issue 17.
“Once I finished a read, looked at the director and said, ‘That didn’t go very well, did it?’ He gave me a stern look, crossed his arms and said, ‘No, it didn’t.’” Paul shared. “I was devastated.”
Luckily, Wesley’s employment prospects turned around when he landed the role of Stefan Salvatore.
Glee’s Mark Salling and Liam Hemsworth of The Last Song also share their audition stories for the issue on sale January 28th.
