Former Zoey 101 star Jamie Lynn Spears has officially announced her engagement to Jamie Watson, 30,  her boyfriend of three years!

And by officially announced, we mean she posted it on Twitter and Instagram.  That counts as official, right?  The 21-year-old posted the above pic along with the caption, “Guesssss what??????” to her personal Twitter account and then posted this little number, along with the caption “He did good ”

The news comes just two months after big sis Britney Spears called off her engagement with her fiancé/manager Jason Tarwick.

During an acoustic performance last night at Nashville’s 3rd and Lindsley Bar & Grill, former Nickelodeon star Jamie Lynn Spears gave a touching (albeit painfully flat) performance of her new song “I Look Up to You” – a tribute to big sister Britney Spears.

The next song is called, ‘I Look Up to You,’… You can imagine who I wrote it about. I hope y’all like it a lot.

The song discusses the senior Spear’s difficult life growing up in the spotlight, with lyrics like,

Saying scared little girl living in a big old world. You’ve outgrown your room, it all happened way too soon. They took away your innocence. We forgot our strong defense.

The song was well received well by the audience, who undoubtedly saw the pain in Jamie Lynn’s face as she sang the very personal lyrics.

The 21-year-old singer took to her Twitter account after the show to thank her fans for all their support, but didn’t go into any further detail about the poignant tune.

Zoey 101 - Jamie Lynn Spears (now defunct) show’s second season premiere, ‘Back To P.C.A.’ and Justice is introduced as a new roommate at Pacific Coast Academy.

After showing off her engagement ring for a few months, it appears Jamie Lynn Spears has now called off her engagement to her baby’s father, Casey Aldridge. The former Zoey 101 star shocked the world when she announced she was sixteen and pregnant in December 2007. She has since stepped away from the spotlight and is living in Louisiana raising her daughter Maddie Briann with Aldridge. No official word on the engagement or dis-engagement as the case may be. It is being said that Spears thinks she is too young to be married.

Zac Efron is not feeling the need to breed. He is young and enjoying himself and simply does not want to be a father anytime soon. The 17 Again  star said:

“The very idea of kids is frightening to me. Maybe it’s over-exposure at a young age to a lot of kids. Right now I think I’m honestly, deep down, too selfish of a person. So I don’t have that longing yet but I think eventually maybe it will come.”

Efron and his girlfriend, High School Musical  star Vanessa Hudgens won’t be procreating and passing on their gorgeous looks just yet as Efron’s mom is on board with the ‘no kids’ policy and filled his christmas stocking with condoms. After seeing a picture of the duo leaving a sex shop, Mama Efron is making sure her son is protected with the unusual holiday gift. It turns out the shop was just a costume store Hudgens and Efron visited for Halloween one year but his mother is taking no chances. No Jamie Lynn Spears or Bristol Palin issues here.

Jamie Lynn Spears, who has been away from the spotlight and raising her daughter Maddie in Mississippi, is finally ready for a comeback just like her big sister Britney Spears. According to E!, Jamie Lynn has been quietly working on a country album since last fall but she still doesn’t have a record deal.

Jamie Lynn once said: “I’ll probably do a lot of acting first, then go to singing, but I am going to definitely sing someday So when I do start singing, buy my album!”

The girl has to do something to start providing for her baby girl that is for sure. Jamie Lynn can’t wait for Brit to provide for her too. Britney already has a lot on her back including K-Fed’s fat expenses.

Adessa Eskeridge is used to going about her business with no one paying attention, however when she got off a plane at Los Angeles International airport, she was used as a decoy for Jamie Lynn Spears to distract the paparazzi, without her consent. According to Eskeridge, she was not told the specifics of what airport security wanted her to do – she just followed their directions as a good citizen, not realizing the “pushing shoving and possible humilation…” she was about to endure. Her attorney, RJ Molligan states that Eskeridge was:

“never informed that upon deplaning, she would be mobbed by the paparazzi, that she would be in fear of her well-being, that her picture would be taken and that video of her would be all over the internet.”

And lastly, the woman says she has “suffered and continues to suffer great humiliation” as a result of that day.

Her attorney is asking for a $2 million dollar payout for Adessa’s troubles. That would be a lot of money for a short walk amongst the photographers…

Is ‘Hannah Montana‘ star Miley Cyrus really taking the big legal step and getting herself emancipated from her parents, Billy Ray and Tish Cyrus? Rumors had been running around the internet for a long while, but according to Janet Charlton’s Hollywood site, the announcement will be made next week.

“Has Miley been so swept away by her twenty year old boyfriend Justin Gaston that she wants to move in with him, or what?”

I have to say I hope this isn’t true. High profile Disney stars do not always do well on their own and Miley’s parents seem very protective of her and do not see her as a walking paycheck.
