Harry Potter star Jamie Waylett, who was arrested last October for being in possession of explosives after London riots, was sentenced to two years in prison this week, by a London judge.

And are we really surprised?  Anyone who can play a bully like Vincent Crabby that convincingly is destined to spend some serious time behind bars.

During sentencing the judge told Jamie, who at the time of his arrest was in possession of a stolen bottle of champagne and a Molotov cocktail, that even though he didn’t harm anyone during the riots, the mere fact that he chose to participate in the chaos, sealed his fate.

A considerable amount has been said about what happened over those few days. Anyone watching the footage in this case can only imagine the mayhem that took place on the streets… You chose to go out on the streets on what was the third day of violence…You were pictured on a number of occasions with a bottle full of petrol with a rag as a wick. I accept entirely the jury’s verdict that you did not throw or have any intention of throwing it but merely being in possession of it would have been terrifying to anyone who saw you.

A drunk Vincent Crabby running at you with an explosive in one hand and a bottle of champagne in the other?  Sounds like the things nightmares are made of…

Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe vehemently denies he was smoking pot at a party in North London after a photo of the 20 year-actor looking completely high and allegedly smoking a cannabis joint was publish on the British tabloid “The Mirror”.

A spokeswoman for Radcliffe said: “Daniel does smoke the occasional roll-up cigarette, but he was not doing anything more than this. We are considering our position and will be taking all necessary action in relation to such allegations.’

A source claims Daniel was so high that the only thing he could say was “I love weed!” then a girl took advantage of his inebriated state and “pulled him into the toilet and started drawing a huge comedy beard on his face.” Harry Potter co-star Jamie Waylett admitted that he cultivated cannabis plants a few months ago. Is it only a coincidence or the Harry Potter stars need a little help to feel the magic??
