That’s gotta hurt!

During a recent appearance on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, How I Met Your Mother star Jason Segel opened up about one of the harshest rejections he’s received in Hollywood.

I got a letter in the mail… I got a rejection letter from Hillary Clinton.

Apparently, when asked about the identity of the “mother” in HIMYM, Segel’s canned response has always been “Hillary Clinton” – but unfortunately for the 32-year-old actor, Madam Secretary of State isn’t having it.

I was delighted to read about your interest in sharing the big screen with me. As you can imagine, I am a little occupied at the moment, but perhaps someday I can help you forget Sarah Marshall … again. My only condition is that there be Muppets involved, and that is non-negotiable. In the meantime, you have my best wishes for continued success with your career.

Um, who knew the former First Lady was such a riot?  Maybe she should consider a career in the ‘biz!

Noah Munck has been added to the movie Bad Teacher, starring Justin Timberlake, Cameron Diaz, Molly Shannon and Jason Segel. The iCarly actor will play Tristan in the flick which has begun filming in Los Angeles. The synopsis for the film:

A comedy centered around a foul-mouthed, junior high teacher who, after being dumped by her sugar daddy, begins to woo a colleague — a move that pits her against a well-loved teacher.

Gibby is headed to the big screen!
