The cast of MTV’s The Jersey Shore is back and they’re bigger than ever (well, at least Snooki is anyway…)

Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi, Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino, Deena Nicole Cortese, Vinny Guadagnino, Paul “Pauly D” DelVecchio, Sammi “Sweetheart” Giancola and Ronnie Ortiz-Magro were all spotted back in Seaside Heights, NJ this week to begin filming for the sixth, and most likely final, season of their hit reality show.

According to witnesses, despite the heat, the entire cast spent hours unloading their cars and moving into the shore house.  Pretty down to earth for a cast of characters like this one!

While she was present for the filming of the move-in process, Snooki, who is six months pregnant with her first child with fiancé Jionni LaValle, will be residing in a residence nearby to avoid all the drinking and partying that is sure to ensue.

Let’s go to the Jersey Shore B*tch!

We never thought we’d see the day that Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi would willingly leave the Jersey Shore house in Seaside, New Jersey…

According to sources, Snooki is taking her pregnancy seriously, and although she’s not quitting the hit MTV reality show altogether, she is moving out of the shore house and into an alternate location nearby – sans roommates.

So, what exactly are we to expect from a season of The Jersey Shore with only one of the meatballs in full force?  Our expectations are not high.

We’re far more excited for Snooki’s spinoff, where she attempts to tackle motherhood – in leopard print heels.  Now that’s reality TV!

According to reports that surfaced yesterday, Jersey Shore star Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino has checked himself into a rehabilitation facility.

We’re sorry – are we supposed to be surprised by this?

A rep for the MTV reality star released a statement saying that his client,

…has spent several weeks at an undisclosed location for much needed rest and recuperation after his extensive production and appearance schedule.

Despite rumors that “Sitch” was battling an addiction to illicit drugs, according to the 29-year-old’s official website, prescription medication was the culprit.

I want to set the record straight. I have voluntarily taken steps to get control of a prescription medication problem I had due to exhaustion. I have spent the past several weeks getting treatment for this problem and recuperating from my work and appearance schedule. I appreciate my fans support and love you guys.

Best of luck Mikey – The Shore wouldn’t be the same without you!

Let the countdown begin!

MTV has finally released their first official trailer for Season 5 of The Jersey Shore!  Season 5 of the breakout reality hit will feature the cast getting back to their roots in Seaside Heights, New Jersey after a full season abroad in Italy – and apparently Snooki, Pauly D, The Situation and the rest of the gang couldn’t be happier to be getting their GTL on again back in the states.

The 4’9″ Guidette mastered the art of the underpant-less cartwheel as a member of the Marlboro, NY High School cheerleading squad and according to a source close to the reality TV star, her drama-inducing ways started long before her stint on The Jersey Shore.

Nicole was a crazy, high energy girl… She was a free spirit, always the life of the party.  She was also a classic Mean Girl, catty and starting drama…. Nicole stood out.  There was something about her.  She was always taking pictures and videos of herself.  She always wanted to be famous, and she knew she would be.  She’d tell us, ‘one day you’ll see me in Hollywood’.”

Sure sounds like the Snooki we’ve all come to know and love!

Bitten by the high school nostalgia bug that so often accompanies football season, The Princess of Poughkeepsie recently joined forces with In Touch Weekly to relive her glory days, one herkie at a time.  The pint-sized flyer did a full spread (no pun intended) of Jersey Shore-style cheerleading photos for the magazine, which is on stands now.

Gimme an “S”!  Gimme an “N”!  Gimme an “O”!  Gimme another “O”!  Gimme an- Oh, just forget it.
