It’s just too many celebs and too many stories to figure out what’s what, but the first trailer for the new Garry Marshall ensemble film, New Year’s Eve, is out.

Abigail Breslin, Zac Efron and Lea Michele costar with Jessica Biel, Robert DeNiro, Ashton Kutcher, Sarah Jessica Parker, Katherine Heigl,  Michelle Pfeiffer, Halle Berry, Sofia Vergara, Josh Duhamel… I could go on and on.

It’s a sort of sequel (re: money maker) to last year’s Valentine’s Day.

Always fashionable and on the cutting edge, singer Rihanna arrived at a hotel in New York City in thigh high leather boots, blonde highlights and plum lipstick. The Barbados born singer has just picked up Justin Timberlake as a producer for her upcoming album and perhaps as a boyfriend. There have been more rumblings lately of JT splitting with girlfriend Jessica Biel so who knows – anything is possible.

Emma Roberts is on a roll this week – first it was announced she wil be part of a first look deal with MTV and now she is joining her aunt, Julia Roberts, in the film ‘Valentine’s Day.’  This is the first time the two will work together and they are among a huge, all-star cast including Topher Grace, Jessica Biel, Anne Hathaway, Jessica Alba, Ashton Kutcher, Bradley Cooper, Shirley Maclaine, Hector Elizondo and Jennifer Garner. The film will be directed by Julia’s ‘Pretty Woman’  director Garry Marshall.

“[Topher]Grace plays a mailroom worker in the town’s biggest agency who’s dating Hathaway. Roberts — working for the first time on the same movie as her aunt Julia — plays a teen who wants to lose her virginity to her boyfriend. Elizondo plays MacLaine’s husband.”

Who’s playing Emma’s boyfriend that she’s losing her virginity to? We will keep watch for more casting info.
