New pictures are surfacing of Kristen Stewart and her co-star Billy Burke (who plays her dad, Chief Swan) as they film the graduation scene in The Twilight Saga: Eclipse. This is the pivotal point in the books where Bella (Stewart) figures out that Victoria (now played by Bryce Dallas Howard) is the one behind the newborn vampire army and is aiming for her. In the book, Edward and Alice Cullen (Robert Pattinson and Ashley Greene) are also part of the ceremonies. As of yet no photos of Pattinson or Greene working this scene. I hope we get to see a shot or two of Edward (Robert) in the back of Chief Swan’s squad car – funny!

Kristen is back with her Bella-length hair. The actress needed extentions after she cut her hair for her film The Runaways (with Dakota Fanning) where she portrayed Joan Jett. I kinda miss her mullet-y ‘do. It really did look good on her.

Kristen Stewart is on the cover of the upcoming ‘Dazed & Confused‘ magazine. In the September issue, the actress will talk about the paparazzi, New Moon, her role as Joan Jett for The Runaways and plenty more. Check it out on stands Thursday August 20th.

Kristen Stewart opened up to Dark Horizons.com at San Diego Comic Con about her role as Bella in ‘New Moon’ and her upcoming flick ‘The Runaways’ where she plays Joan Jett. Talking about Bella’s emotional development Stewart said:

“I think she grows up light years in this one; there’s something to be said about the way she behaved herself in the first. It takes an extremely assured – more than that – really, a strong presence of a person, to throw yourself into a world that you have no – absolutely no sense of, like, what it might be like. But to just trust whatever gut feeling pushed you into that. But what I really liked about the second one is that – I was saying this before. I feel stupid repeating myself. But, to know yourself for real – I think you probably would have to go through more of a range of emotion than she had gone through at that point in her life. So, to commit to someone like that – to have it taken away, and then have to snap back – I mean, now I actually think that it’s not – I’m not looking at a kid who’s sort of immaturely but impressively going for something. Now you’re like, “Okay, this young lady, this woman, might be actually getting to know herself, and doing the right thing.” She definitely grows. I mean, she definitely matures.”

Stewart has really connected to Bella in a way that she hasn’t seemed to in the past. Maybe it’s that the character has more emotional depth in the rest of the books and films or perhaps she is becoming more comfortable playing a character that has such a huge fan base that scrutinizes her every move. Perhaps she will join the cast of ‘New Moon’  as vampire Jane and work with Kristen Stewart, but right now Dakota Fanning is also in talks to join KS on another film, the Joan Jett biopic. If everything holds up and Fanning is signed on, she would play Cheri Currie, lead singer of the all girl group The Runaways. Stewart is already confirmed to play Jett and filming starts late spring. Hopefully they have a great working relationship.

Nylon magazine has the super hot Kristen Stewart on it’s March 2009 cover and the actress has a lot to say. She isn’t afraid to be real, raw and let strong opinions show.

On the Twilight Madness:  “Anywhere we’d go for Twilight was a psychotic situation. The sound was deafening, and it’s thoughtless, as well… You get a slew of all these bullshit questions like, ‘What’s it like to kiss a vampire?’ and ‘How much do you love Robert?’ Then you’ll get one that’s actually real, but you’re like, ‘No, I can’t right now, I can’t even consider [it].”

And no, she’s not dating Robert Pattinson. “It’s just totally false… Rob and I are good friends.  We went through a lot together, so we feel very close.  But if we go out in public, every little detail is scrutinized, like the way I stand next to him.  And it’s like, I know this guy really fucking well [laughs].  It’s only natural that we’re sort of leaning on each other, because we’re put in the most fucking psychotic situations.”

Stewart has had an amazing year professionally. The ‘Twilight’ actress is gearing up to promote her newest film, ‘Adventureland’ and heading to work on ‘New Moon’ and the Joan Jett biopic.
