Joe Jonas, formerly of The Jonas Brothers (well, I guess technically he still is a Jonas brother, right?) released his debut solo record, “Fastlife” Tuesday, to mixed reviews.

While fans of the middle Jonas can’t get enough of the albums catchy, club beats, critics are whistling a different tune.

According to Chris Willman of Reuters,

Fastlife’ isn’t a terrible album, just a terribly producer-driven one, which leaves Jonas trying to fit into producer Danja’s all-electro arrangements … The album bears a few passably entertaining tracks, the best being ‘All This Time,’ which — maybe not coincidentally — is the closest thing to a rock ballad, its martial beat notwithstanding. Silliest? That’s a tie between ‘Kleptomaniac’ and ‘Love Slayer,’ which has Joe bragging, ‘I’m ’bout to shut this thing down-down-down-down-down,’ the last word getting the kind of simulated record-skipping repetition that must’ve seemed awfully original 10 years ago … Once ‘Fastlife’ fails to afford Joe the desired Timberlake-type transition, it should be time to grow the hair back out at least as long as the eyebrows and fast-track a JoBros reunion.

Brutal.

Despite being dealt some rough critiques, Joe is still incredibly proud of the project and can’t wait to perform it live for audiences while on tour with fellow pop icon, Britney Spears.

Even if I’m tired or exhausted or not feeling great, when I look out into the audience and I see those fans — that energy that they pull out of me is just hard to explain. Being on your own (without brothers Nick and Kevin) is a different thing because you put pressure on yourself to make the show great.

It’s over for Joe Jonas and Ashley Green. The couple reportedly mutually and amicably decided to call it quits after dating for a few months, since last summer. Why? Oh, why?

Joe is currently working on his solo album to be released this year, while Ashley is busy filming the fourth and fifth installment of The Twilight Saga, “Breaking Dawn”. The actress also has a couple of movies coming out, including “LOL: Laughing Out Loud” also starring Miley Cyrus.

Actor/singer Joe Jonas, from the Jonas Brothers, was seen out and about as he met with a few friends for breakfast at Kings Road Café in Los Angeles, California on Wednesday (March 2)- more pictures below.

Joe looks awesome. So HOT! The 21 year-old JONAS star should be currently working on his first solo album. His Little brother, Nick Jonas, was the first to launch a solo career last year. Joe’s album is set to be released later this year.

The End! Joe Jonas from the Jonas Brothers completely ruined a perfect Valentine’s Day proposal for this couple with his charming good looks and his sweet silky voice (see video above).

In “A Joe Jonas Valentine”, a guy surprised his girl with the presence of one of her idol/crushes, Joe Jonas (who else?). Joe starts singing “You Are So Beautiful” and the guy asks the girl to marry him. Of course, the girl refuses to settle now that she finally met her dream guy – Joe Jonas! WHO ELSE!?!

Actress Ashley Greene and her new boyfriend Joe Jonas have been officially dating for a couple of months and the two have become inseparable. “She’s trying to give Ashley a shot,” the insider explains, adding, “But things are a little strained.”

Mom Denise is simply jealous or really afraid that her son’s morals have been forgotten the moment things started to heat up with Ashley, who is an independent and fierce woman. Joe has already gotten rid of his purity ring to be with the actress, what else is he going to sacrifice in the name of love?

OMG! Joe Jonas is definitely not a virgin anymore. And he and his new girlfriend, actress Ashley Greene have been doing it! Jonas Brothers’ Joe Jonas is writing and composing new songs as he secretly works in the studio on his first solo album, which is expected to be released early next year.  ”We are planning for an early 2011 release,” a rep for Hollywood Records tells E!.

Joe is not going to follow his little brother Nick Jonas’ footsteps. Joe, who is working with several writers and producers, reportedly wants to become a “sexier Justin Timberlake” with a “more dangerous sound”.

OH. MY. GOD. Twilight actress Ashley Greene and Jonas Brothers’ Joe Jonas were finally caught sharing one hot kiss while shopping in New York City on Friday (August 20). They were rumored to be dating since early July, but they hadn’t been seen together until recently.

We didn’t want to believe this was possible! Ashley and Joe make a super hot couple! And it was totally unexpected – Twilight and Jonas Brothers’ universes shouldn’t mix. It’s not right! I bet Joe’s purity ring is OFF. Ashley destroyed it!

In the first preview of Joe Jonas‘ special guest appearance in “Hot In Cleveland”, he is seen looking rather hot and showing off his guns while talking to our favorite funny old lady, Betty White (watch video below).

Joe is offering Betty new musical suggestions and mentions the Canadian teen superstar’s name, Justin Bieber. Betty quickly responds, “Oh, I love HER!” OUCH. LOL. We are sure Justin laughed and loved this!
