Jonas Brothers‘ Kevin Jonas and Joe Jonas are reportedly battling for the same spot… the role of Captain America in an upcoming movie based on the adventures of the iconic superhero for Marvel, which was recently acquired by Disney.

Joe and Kevin have already auditioned and it seems like Kevin is ahead of the competition, according to Hollywire. It would be amazing if Joe became Captain America but we just don’t see Kevin in that role.

While brother Nick Jonas is currently busy with his own music and on his first solo tour with The Administration, Joe Jonas is also thinking about making his own music and possibly launching a solo career. But, for now, Joe is content to just spend a lot of time writing with different musicians.

“I’m writing songs right now,” Joe told. “I’m writing a lot of music. It’s going really well. I’ve written about five songs with some of my friends in different bands and things like that. With Grammy Week coming up, all my friends and all these musicians are flying in. I love writing with musicians.”

That’s not all! Joe has already expressed his desire to really get into acting. “I’m looking forward to doing more acting,” he said. “I know everybody says this, but I want to be able to do everything. I won’t be satisfied until I’m ready to do every kind of role—from a villain to a comedian.” LUV Joe!! We wish him the best luck!

Joe Jonas of the Jonas Brothers will have a special small role in the new romantic comedy “Valentine’s Day” joining an all-star cast that include, Julia and Emma Roberts, Taylor Lautner and Joe’s ex-girlfriend Taylor Swift!

Uh Oh!! That has to be a bit awkward for Joe! Swift and Lautner were engaged in some hot kissing and almost x-rated make out session on set of “Valentine’s Day” last week (photos and video here)!!
