In a two part interview with RadarOnline, actress Julia Jones, who plays Leah Clearwater, gives us a glimpse of what it was like filming the special effects for the werewolves, hanging around with other cast members and that Taylor Lautner has the best aim.

Stepping out to The Art Of Elysium: GENESIS event held at HD Buttercup in Los Angeles, Julia Jones looked relaxed and fabulous on the red carpet. The New Moon actress attended the celebration of the LA based organization that “encourages working actors, artists and musicians to voluntarily dedicate their time and talent to children who are battling serious medical conditions. We provide artistic workshops in the following disciplines: acting, art, comedy, fashion, music, radio, songwriting and creative writing.”

The actress, who is playing Leah Clearwater, will be back in Vancouver to work on more scenes in the third Twilight installment: Eclipse.

Leah Clearwater has been cast and Julia Jones is the lucky gal to be part of the Twilight phenomenon. The actress was finishing reading the fourth book when InStyle Magazine caught up to her and asked her a few questions.

Jones joked that her biggest worry is that she’ll get a mane makeover in order to look more like her character. “In the book Leah has really short, cropped hair. So right now my biggest concern is that they’ll make me cut all my hair off!”

In Vancouver in September for her scenes, we will find out then if she gets a shortened ‘do or not.

No, it’s not Rob’s pet name for Kristen – BooBoo Stewart (also being spelled as Boo Boo Stewart) is Seth Clearwater in The Twilight Saga: Eclipse. Julia Jones gets the Leah Clearwater part and voila! the Eclipse stew is cooking in Vancouver! Here is the official release from Summit Entertainment:

LOS ANGELES, Calif. — Principle photography on “The Twilight Saga: Eclipse,” is underway in Vancouver, Summit Entertainment said in a statement released today.

There will be a few new faces in this third installment of the popular vampire franchise.

“Along with director David Slade, several new actors are joining the TWILIGHT family including Bryce Dallas Howard as Victoria, Xavier Samuel as Riley, Catalina Sandino Moreno as Maria, Jack Huston as Royce King, Julia Jones as Leah, BooBoo Stewart as Seth, and Jodelle Ferland as Bree,” said Summit.
“Also continuing in the saga as The Cullen Family are Ashley Greene as Alice, Peter Facinelli as Carlisle, Elizabeth Reaser as Esme, Kellan Lutz as Emmett, Nikki Reed as Rosalie, and Jackson Rathbone as Jasper. Billy Burke also returns as Charlie Swan.”

“Eclipse” will be released theatrically in North America on Wednesday, June 30, 2010.

Seth/BooBoo – looks waay to young – I know Seth is supposed to grow up the same way Jacob does when he becomes a werewolf, but still this kid looks well, just too darn young. Let’s hope he does well in the role.
