Today’s the day!  The day we’ve all been waiting for!  Justin Bieber’s latest album Believe hit stores early this morning and we could NOT possibly be more excited!

To promote his sophomore effort’s release, the 18-year-old pop star called into On Air with Ryan Seacrest today to discuss the collaborations on the album and the unlikely muse behind one of his song ‘Maria’.

As GossipTeen reporter earlier this year, The Bieb was involved in some pretty serious baby-mama-drama with a girl named Mariah Yeater, who claimed

I couldn’t really talk about it when it was happening…every interview I was like: ‘I can’t really talk about it.’ So, to be able to actually talk about it on the album is really awesome.

Yeah, it was definitely Scooter’s [Justin's agent] worries…it’s already over, you’re bringing it back up. But also people didn’t forget about it, it was still in the headline news. So, to be able to talk about it and really say my side of the story and really just express myself, I feel like that was the best way to do it.

The Canadian-born pop star also opened up about some of the amazing collaborations on the new record,

With Ludacris, he came in when we were working on it and he definitely loved it and he went back and started writing, and then got on it. With Drake, we wrote the song together and we were in the studio doing melodies and that’s how that happened. And Big Sean, we had already finished ‘As Long As You Love Me‘ and I was the one doing the rap at the end, but we just thought we might as well get Big Sean on it because he’s new and fresh…

You guys remember a few months back when a crazed fan accused Justin Bieber of fathering her 3-month-old son in the hopes of collecting a huge settlement?

Well, jokes on her, because The Biebs recently told reporters in London that he’s recording a song about the whole incident – and guess who’s not going to see a dime of the millions it makes?

You guessed it – Mariah Yeater.

There’s a song about that girl that said she was gonna have my baby, Mariah Yeater… There are songs about things I’m going through. I wrote songs about different situations.

Truthfully, we’re a little surprised that the 18-year-old hasn’t put this whole situation behind him already.  Writing a song about Mariah just gives her more of the attention she was after.  But hey, we’re all still gonna listen to the song aren’t we?

Heck yes we are!

As GossipTeen previously reported, text messages from Justin Bieber‘s alleged baby mama, Mariah Yeater, leaked to the media last week and fingered her ex-boyfriend Robbie Powell as the real father of her three-month-old son.

Now, Powell is coming forward and demanding to take a DNA test to prove that he is, in fact, the real father of baby Trystin.  Apparently, Robbie’s sick of his ex using their child for celebrity and “believes [Yeater] did it for the money because she’s desperate for cash.”

While it may appear that Yeater’s ex is taking the high road on this one, don’t let Powell’s antics fool you.  He’s been approached by several media outlets to tell his side of the story, and according to sources he’s “reviewing his options”, otherwise known as, seeing who will pay him the most money.

So really, there’s no winner here.  Only losers.

While his girlfriend was off having the time of her life performing at Madison Square Garden, pop star Justin Bieber was hard at work taping an episode of The Late Show with David Letterman.

The topic of conversation, of course, was the impending paternity lawsuit regarding Bieber allegedly fathering the child of a crazed (yes, crazed) fan.  While the accusations were indeed serious, the Biebs and Letterman took the interview as an opportunity to make light of the situation – and take a few jabs at “Baby Mama”, Mariah Yeater.

Dave opened the interview by asking Justin about the case and told the 17-year-old that he “saw red” when he heard about the lawsuit and that he could instantly “smell a weasel.”

Smirking, Justin replied,

I think I could smell a weasel too… You know it’s pretty crazy, these people make up false allegations.

The interview continued with Letterman asking Justin all the specifics about the DNA test he consented to in order to prove his innocence.

“Was there any disrobing?” The Late Night host asked.  ”No, I don’t think so.” responded Bieber.

You don’t think so?  Do you not remember whether or not you got undressed?  Hmmmm, sounds like Mariah may have a case after all…

Although we’re not really sure why, pop star Justin Bieber consented to a DNA test to prove definitively that he is not the father of Mariah Yeater’s three-month-old son, Trystin.

Oooh wait, yes, we know why.  He did it because he’s going to sue the bejeezus out of Mariah and her legal team once he clears his name.

Nooow we’re cookin’ with gas.

According to Bieber’s attorneys, while there was much speculation to the contrary, there was never any chance that the Biebs would’ve settled in this case and the results of the DNA test will be the final nail in the coffin of the impending paternity lawsuit.

Your move, Yeater.

Well whaddya know…

The woman who accused Justin Bieber of fathering her 3-month-old son is now dropping the paternity lawsuit against the pop star. Apparently, Mariah Yeater’s attorneys Lance Rogers and Matt Pare, not only withdrew their court filings, they also removed themselves from the 20-year-old’s legal team – which is not at all surprising considering Bieber’s threat to counter sue once he returns to the U.S.

As GossipTeen previously reported, the Biebs, who took home a 2011 Bambi Award earlier this week, never seemed phased by Yeater’s wild allegations and contended that he would never “be a victim” of these sorts of crazed attempts to exploit his fame.

Now on to more important matters… like getting Baylor back on his feet!

And if you can “beliebe” it, things just got more dramatic!

Apparently, Mariah Yeater, the woman who’s been harassing Justin Bieber about being the father of her three-month-old son, has a more sullied past than we thought!

The 20-year-old’s mother Michelle Yeater, was arrested back in November 2007 for battery with serious bodily injury, when she attacked a convenience store clerk and sent her to the hospital.

Ouch!

Yeater Sr. served two years in prison for the offense, before being released on probation.  I don’t know about you, but I think this may damage Ms. Yeater’s credibility just a tad.

Although, now that I take a better look – that baby does look like he has Bieber-ific lips.

The saga continues…

After two weeks of battling some serious baby mama drama, pop star Justin Bieber is agreeing to take a paternity test to prove that he is not the father of Mariah Yeater’s baby.

This ain’t quite playing out the way you hoped is it, Mariah?

The 17-year-old appeared fed up with the unfounded rumors last week when he told TODAY host Matt Lauer that he would not be a victim of Mariah Yeater’s wild accusations.

TEAM BIEBER!!!

Amidst the swirling rumors surrounding an impending paternity lawsuit, pop star Justin Bieber has played it cool, kept his mouth shut and held his head high.

Until now.

The 17-year-old appeared on TODAY- well, today, to defend himself against the allegations that he is the father of Mariah Yeater’s 3-month-old son, Trystin.  (I’d like to take this opportunity to briefly go on the record as saying that my heart goes out to this poor, poor child.)

When TODAY reporter Matt Lauer asked about the impending lawsuit, Bieber succinctly responded that he’s never even met Mariah Yeater and went on to add,

I’d just like to say that none of those allegations are true… I know I’m going to be a target, but I’m never going be a victim.

Mariah Yeater, who yesterday released a statement claiming that Justin Bieber is the father of her nearly 4-month-old son, Tristyn Anthony Markhouse Yeater, is apparently hell bent on doing everything she can to sully the pop idol’s prestine reputation.

In leaked court documents, Yeater explains her sexual encounter with The Biebs in graphic detail, even going so far as to say that the whole “incident” lasted  for only “30 seconds”.

Ouch.

For his part, Bieber seems to be doing his best to keep his focus elsewhere, Tweeting to his millions of Beliebers:

with this album Im giving portion of the proceeds to#charity … Im trying to help #GIVEBACK..nothing will stop me from that focus. NOTHING

so Im going to ignore the rumors…and focus on what is real. an opportunity to help by doing what i love. Judge me on the music! Love yall!

Sources are saying that Beiber will most likely have to comply with the request for a DNA sample to confirm or refute the paternity claims – Which shouldn’t be a big deal if he has nothing to hide!
