While pop star Justin Bieber has always had a tumultuous relationship with the paparazzi, we’re sure he never intended for anything like this to happen.

After snapping a photo of The Bieb ringing in 2013 on Tuesday evening, an L.A. photographer tried to follow the 18-year-old singer to his next location.  According to reports, while the Ferrari the photographer believed Justin was driving was idling during a routine traffic stop, the paparazzo ignored police warnings and stepped out into traffic to try and snap one last photo.  Last reports confirmed that Justin was never in the Ferrari involved and was not on site during the traffic stop.

While trying to catch a glimpse of the “Beauty and a Beat” singer, the photographer was struck and killed by an oncoming car. Justin has released the following statement regarding the incident:

While I was not present nor directly involved with this tragic accident, my thoughts and prayers are with the family of the victim. Hopefully this tragedy will finally inspire meaningful legislation and whatever other necessary steps to protect the lives and safety of celebrities, police officers, innocent public bystanders, and the photographers themselves.

Well said Justin.  Well said.  We can only hope that this terrible tragedy will bring forth some change!

According to sources, Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez are being brought in for questioning by LAPD regarding an incident with an over-zealous paparazzo back in May.

Apparently, when police originally arrived on the scene, Bieber and Gomez had already split and now investigators need more info in order to proceed with any legal action.  Specifically, they need Justin and Selena’s side of the story.

As GossipTeen told you back in May, the pair were leaving Calabasas Commons when a photographer refused to move out of the way of Justin’s car.  After exchanging words, The Biebs lost his temper, shoved the cameraman and fled the scene.

While we don’t think violence is ever the answer, maybe these tabloid meatheads should all take a lesson from this and leave these two poor kids alone!

After reports surfaced that teen pop star Justin Bieber was cited by LAPD on July 6th for “reckless driving”, the 18-year-old returned fire by filing a complaint against the paparazzo that he alleges was chasing him.

Apparently, police showed up on the set of the video for Justin’s “As Long As You Love Me” to hear his side of the story and the singer informed them that his “reckless driving” was due to a photographer chasing him.

And wouldn’t you know it – just as the police were chatting up the Boyfriend singer, the same pesky photog showed up to snap a few more pictures!

Case closed!

Well – not really, the LAPD are still conducting their investigation…

Everyone has their breaking point, and yesterday, Justin Bieber found his.

While walking out of a movie theater at The Commons at Calabasas with girlfriend Selena Gomez, Justin was swarmed by paparazzi who refused to move out of the singer’s way.  One photog even went so far as to block The Biebs’ car in order to snap a picture!

According to sources, Justin kept his cool as long as he could, but ended up exchanging words with the photographer and getting into an “altercation”.  Shortly after Justin and Selena were finally able to flee the scene, the gentleman (and we use that term very loosely) called 911 complaining of chest pains.

We call BULL CRAP!

We totally get that getting your picture snapped by the paparazzi comes with the territory of being famous, but blocking someone’s car so they can’t get away?  That’s uncool.

The photographer was taken to the hospital and later released, but now LAPD want to take Justin in for questioning regarding the alleged assault.     This whole thing is ridiculous and maybe this will teach those over-zealous photographers to keep a respectful distance!
