Contrary to the rumors floating on the internet this past week, Taylor Swift will not duet with Kanye West on the re-recording of ‘We Are The World.’ The new version of the song is taking place on Monday, February 1st - the day after the Grammy Awards in Los Angeles, California and while Kanye may be there, Swift is headed down under to begin her Australian tour.

To mark the 25th anniversary of the song, the proceeds of this recording - which may include Miley Cyrus and Justin Bieber - will go to Haiti relief funds.

Taylor Swift won Favorite Female Artist at The People’s Choice Awards held in Los Angeles on Wednesday night. Swift certainly had a much nicer time with this acceptance speech as LL Cool J escorted her up the stairs instead of Kanye West interrupting and giving her a hard time.

Twilight star Taylor Lautner became one of the ten youngest “Saturday Night Live” hosts when he took over the stage last night (December 12). In his opening monologue, Taylor explained how exactly he wanted to defend his girl Taylor Swift, who also recently hosted SNL (Swift’s monologue video), during the whole Kanye West interruption at the 2009 MTV VMA’s.

It was super funny! Taylor also had the opportunity to show his amazing karate skills. He did look a bit nervous when he started but he completely owned that stage by the end of that segment. We loved it! (Watch all skits below!)

Taylor Swift was both host and musical guest for Saturday Night Live this past weekend. The country superstar really showed her sense of humor in her SNL opening song. She did briefly mention Kanye West and the VMA’s, Taylor Lautner and Joe Jonas! Funny stuff from the teen.

Taylor Swift, SNL guest host, and Bill Hader star in a promotional video for the show, where they poke fun at the Kanye West VMAs incident. Bill tells Taylor, “Whoops, Kanye West just called. He thinks Beyoncé should host instead.” Then he adds, “Funny, huh?” Taylor just stands there and rolls her eyes. Bill then awkwardly says, “Good times,” and walks off the set whispering to himself, “Hader.”

Country teen sensation Taylor Swift will host the legendary ‘Saturday Night Live’ on November 7. Taylor confessed she has been thinking about skit ideas so beware Kanye West because revenge is best served cold and on SNL!

“I’ve been thinking about skit ideas for a long time,” she told The Associated Press. “There are definitely some hilarious things that have happened to me over the past couple of months that I think will be pretty substantial skits.”

Taylor performed on the show back in January and now she comes back to host it. She described the experience as “mind-blowing”. We know Taylor will do a fantastic job!

Taylor Swift is used to the single life but don’t pity her - she doesn’t feel sorry for herself. The teen star says:

“I wasn’t really popular at high school. I’ve never really been sought-after by guys, but I don’t wallow in it. It’s my comfort zone, being single.” An optimistic Swift adds: “I feel that a lot happens to you when you’re not looking for it so I’m not actively looking for a boyfriend.”

She is bright, talented, young and beautiful. Many guys dream about her. It’s only a matter of time before she’s off the market again.

Singer Taylor Swift was spotted leaving her Manhattan hotel with her mother Andrea Swift wearing all black on Thursday (September 17). The country star has already recovered from the incident at the 2009 MTV VMAs (read more here) and has accepted Kanye West’s apology.

“Kanye did call me, and he was very sincere in his apology, and I accepted that apology,” Taylor said. This just shows the girl is way too classy for Kanye (Kanye West Interrupts Edward Cullen!).

I’m sure everybody knows what rapper Kanye West did to our girl Taylor Swift at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards (details, photos, videos and links here). Kanye tried to apologize (watch Taylor on “The View”) but the damage has already been done.

Now imagine if Kanye interrupted our Edward Cullen (Robert Pattinson) to say True Blood has the best, sexiest vampires… JACKASS!!

Taylor Swift made an appearance today on daytime talk show ‘The View’ and the country superstar talked about the Kanye West incident (Click here for all the links to the unfortunate events) from Sunday’s MTV Video Music Awards. The singer (who happens to be the first country star to ever win a VMA) gave the ladies of the show (including Kate Gosselin as fill in host) the rundown of her thoughts as she won the award:

“Wow, I can’t believe I won… This is awesome… Don’t trip and fall… I’m gonna get to thank the fans, this is so cool… Oh, Kanye West is here…Cool haircut. What are you doing there? And then ouch. And then, I guess I’m not going to get to thank the fans.”

At the time of the show, Swift said West had not reached out to her to apologize however, since this aired this morning around the country, TMZ.com is reporting that West has finally done the right thing and called her to offer his apology for his rude treatment of the young star.
