Blake Lively arrived to the 2011 Costume Institute Gala at the Metropolitan Museum in New York City in very fashionable style.

The Gossip Girl star chose a stunning goddess inspired dress from Chanel’s 2009 collection and posed with Karl Lagerfeld, the designer of the famous French fashion house and the photographer of her new Chanel handbag ad.

The bodice of gown is nude with silver sequins and beading. She wore only earrings and one cuff as accessories and kept her new strawberry blonde color hair down and wavy.

The 2011 Met Gala, as it’s more commonly known, featured an exhibit Alexander McQueen: Savage Beauty which honored the late designer’s body of work.

Emma Roberts took in the Ready-to-Wear 2011 Fall/Winter Chanel show earlier this week in Paris, France.

The Homework actress chose a baby blue tweed Chanel dress with feathery, fringe trim and silver platform heels and showed off her legs. Amanda Seyfried was also featured in this dress on the cover of Marie Claire UK April 2011 issue (see photos below.)

Roberts, 20, is the cover of Women’s Health and told the magazine she keeps in shape (and those amazing legs) by pole dancing.

“I started taking classes with friends as a way to both work out and hang out. You don’t realize how much upper-body strength you need! It’s also a good way to build confidence.”

She looks great!

The Spring/Summer 2010 fashion collections are showing in Paris this week and Rihanna has been causing a stir everytime she shows up. The fashion forward ‘Umbrella’ singer has been to all the major shows – Karl Lagerfeld, Jean Paul Gautlier, and Martin Margiela. She has her newly blond streaked hair, been wearing all black and has even been photographed in a see-thru dress (pic below.) What do you think of Rihanna’s style?

Talented and beautiful Emma Watson is modelling again and not just her good behaivior. The actress was a stunning muse to designer/photographer/fashion innovator Karl Lagerfeld. Lagerfeld took the startling pictures for French fashion magazine Crash and gave Emma a blanched high tech-y kind of look.

The Harry Potter actress is enchanted with Lagerfeld and had this to say about working with the fashion genius:

‘This was a dream come true. We spent the whole day together and he can talk about anything – literature, art, science, modern culture. I was totally seduced.’

Lucky Emma is wearing Alexander McQueen and Vivienne Westwood for the photo shoot. Highly sytlized, I think these photos of Watson are great. Lagerfeld is at the top of his game. The photo of her as a nun gives her the appearance of a mannequin and is fascinating to me.
