It’s been a roller coaster year for Katy Perry: an A-list divorce, a slew of hit singles and now a 3D docu-concert set to hit theaters this July.  Does this girl ever sleep?

In a never-before-seen teaser for the film, Katy is shown hitting a water park during an off day on her recent California Dreams tour, while her sister Angela explains their “professional” relationship.

We always kind of had this deal that when she made it big, that I was going to work with her and we were going to be together…Anytime we go to a city when we have a day off, she always likes me to explore something fun with her… Katy likes to work hard while on tour, but she also likes to play hard.

Part of Me promises a behind-the-scenes look at the good (and the bad) of being on of the world’s biggest pop stars, and we’ve got to admit, we’re pretty stoked to see it!

The 25 year-old took us behind the scenes of her Seventeen photo shoot and talked about her own unique style and how it has evolved. Kate also offered some behind the scenes footage from the set of her forthcoming music video for “Teenage Dream” (check out the videos below).

Here are some highlights from Katy Perry’s Seventeen interview:

On purity rings and role models: “I think that [Miley and the Jonas Brothers] set out to be role models, and I think, I at least hope they know what they’re doing. Because once you say you’re a role model, you’re under a microscope and everyone is waiting and watching for you to do something, you know? And then there’s this big pointing-of-the-finger thing. I mean, they have purpose being role models and having the promise ring thing. But it’s not for everyone.”

On writing new songs: “I haven’t been writing a lot lately. So much has happened in this past year and a half that I can’t wait to just have a month to unplug and recharge and feel everything again. But I think when I do write now it’s about a past relationship or this new life that I’m living. Those are the two things I’m writing about most.”

On her dream wedding: “I would love to have the best party that anyone has ever been to. Some girls want to have a small little beach wedding. And I’m like ‘No! I want the Celine Dion wedding!’ Weddings can be so boring, and those people who say their vows for 45 minutes can be obnoxious. It’s like, we know you’re in love, show it. I would have a secret choreographed dance for our first dance, where it turns into Saturday Night Fever and stupid stuff like that where we have the same sense of humor about it.”
