Twilight fans all over the world breathed a collective sigh of relief this week when actor Taylor Lautner confirmed once and for all that, yes – he likes the ladies.

Despite dating Hollywood heavy-hitters ranging from  Taylor Swift to Lily Collins, the Lautner’s sexual orientation has been under some scrutiny recently, so the 19-year-old took an interview with GQ Australia as an opportunity to set the record straight.

Literally.

Apparently, the rumors stem from a lunch Lautner took with director Gus Van Sant and Oscar-winning screenwriter Dustin Lance Black, both of whom happen to be gay.  I’m sorry, I may be missing something here, but does eating food with gay people make you gay now?  Wait, did he catch being gay by eating food off one of their gay plates!?!?

During the GQ interview, reporter Mickey Rapkin asked Lautner if either of the men hit on him during their lunch date (journalistic excellence at its best, folks) to which Lautner replied,

No, definitely not…  think they know I’m straight. But they’re great guys. They’re a lot of fun.

Of course they’re fun.  They’re gay!

Twilight hunk Taylor Lautner looks as handsome as always in his black Dolce & Gabbana tuxedo complete with bow tie on the red carpet of the 82nd Annual Academy Awards held at the Kodak Theater in Los Angeles on Sunday (March 7).

The 18 year-old did not bring a date but instead continues to enjoy the simple pleasure of the single life. Taylor and Twilight co-star Kristen Stewart present a special horror movie segment during the Oscars ceremony.

Twilight star Kristen Stewart finally got it right! She looked absolutely stunning in a dark blue Monique Lhuillier gown on the red carpet of the 82nd Annual Academy Awards held at the Kodak Theater in Los Angeles on Sunday (March 7). Kristen and co-star Taylor Lautner, who also looked handsome, were honored with the tough job of presenting a horror movie segment during the Oscars ceremony.

Twilight stars Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner will be presenting an Oscar during the 82nd Annual Academy Awards ceremony on March 7. Last year, Robert Pattinson was invited to present so now it’s time for the “New Moon” couple to take the stage in the biggest award show of the year.

Kristen told E! she is very nervous but glad Taylor will be there to support her of course. Kristen said, “Yeah, I’m going. Me and Taylor are going to present. I’ve been looking at shoes. I’m trying to pick shoes that I know I won’t fall down in.” Go Kristen! Break a leg!! We mean GOOD LUCK!

WOW! Kristen Stewart (Bella Swan) and Taylor Lautner (Jacob Black) cover the latest issue of Entertainment Weekly. The two posed for one spectacularly beautiful photo shoot and you can totally see there is a lot of chemistry between them too!!

In the interview, Kristen claims she would literally kill for her good friend Taylor. I’m starting to wonder if all the Robert Pattinson and Kristen’s romance rumors aren’t just a decoy to keep Kristen and Taylor’s relationship a secret… I know I’m a bit paranoid, right!?!

Stewart, on playing other roles: “If it was Twilight all the time, I would go mad. To just play one character for four years, it’s not what I do. I like to have variation. I like to change it up… I’m so not Bella. Thats just a different aspect of me.”

Lautner, on playing Jacob: “It’s challenging, because he’s not human. I mean, what human walks around with a frown, looking like he wants to kill something?”

Lautner, on his friendship with Stewart: “[Jacob and Bella] are so open, and they can tell each other everything. So it was very important for me and Kristen to grow very close before doing this.”

Stewart, on Lautner: “I love that kid. I would do anything for him. I would kill for him, literally.”

Stewart, on Lautner almost being replaced as Jacob: “I knew he had [to do] it. Just because of how I felt around him… We have that [BFF] relationship. It’s lamely cute.”

Lautner, on bulking up for his increased role: “My body fat got so low that we actually needed to increase it a little bit. My trainer would be like, ‘Go have a huge milk shake just so I can get a thousand calories into your body.’”

In this scene Bella is thinking about a possible future with Jacob after Edward Cullen leaves: “Would it be so wrong to try to make Jacob happy? Even if the love I felt for him was no more than a weak echo of what I was capable of, even if my heart was far away, wandering and grieving after my fickle Romeo, would it be so very wrong” – Bella in New Moon 16:375.
