Just when it seemed like things were on the up and up for Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth…

According to reports, Liam’s brothers Luke and Chris Hemsworth are more than a little disappointed in their bro’s choice in a life partner.  So disappointed in fact, that they staged an intervention for the 23-year-old, urging him to end his engagement – once and for all.

A source close to the brothers revealed,

They want him to end the romance for good.

Apparently Chris and Luke simply don’t approve of Liam’s four-year relationship with his fiance and want the pair to go their separate ways before they hurt each other again.

Well, we can’t say we blame them, but we certainly wouldn’t want to be around the next time they run into Miley after she hears about this!

If even Liam’s brothers aren’t on board with this marriage, we can’t see this relationship lasting much longer…

And this time it wasn’t even Miley Cyrus’ fault!

According to sources, after leaving a club in Philadelphia late Sunday night, Hunger Games star and Hollywood hothead Liam Hemsworth jumped a man who he believed had thrown a rock at him.

In a video of the altercation, Liam’s victim is seen laying on the ground hanging on to Liam’s leg for dear life, until Liam introduces his fist to the poor guy’s face.  Liam’s buddy helped the actor restrain the alleged rock-thrower, so that they could deal out a successful beating.

After the fight, Liam’s victim (who was painfully intoxicated) didn’t seem to comprehend that he got his you-know-what handed to him by the 22-year-old actor, saying,

I don’t think [Liam] fared much better.

False.

He may play the fearless Peeta in The Hunger Games trilogy, but that doesn’t mean Liam Hemsworth claims not to be afraid of anything – or does it!?

In a recent interview with Men’s Health magazine, the super sexy Aussie opens up about a near-death surfing accident that nearly took his life as a child.

Every day, before and after school. I wanted to surf for the rest of my life. It’s what all my friends did… The fear of dying? That’s part of the fun of it.

When I was a kid, one time I got my leg rope wrapped around my whole body like a ball, under water. Couldn’t get up… I was in waist-deep water, but I almost drowned. You know, I’ve had a few times.

Oh yeah, no big deal.  I almost died – whatever.

Geez Liam!  If you had drowned that day, we never would’ve gotten the chance to see your beautiful face on the big screen!  Don’t be so nonchalant about it!

The newly engaged actor also shares what it was like working on the summer action flick The Expendables 2 with legendary action heroes such as Sylvester Stallone, Chuck Norris, Jason Statham, Bruce Willis, Arnold Schwarzenegger and Jean-Claude Van Damme

There wasn’t the testosterone or ego you might expect on a set like that. Everyone was so cool and professional.

Geez!  These two have barely been engaged for a hot minute and already there are rumors that they’re headed for Splitsville?

According to reports, Hunger Games hottie Liam Hemsworth is threatening to call off his engagement with former Disney star Miley Cyrus if she doesn’t stop with the extreme dieting!

Apparently, Miley’s whole crazy workout regimen has been driving her 22-year-old fiancé crazy and he wants her to get back to her old self.  It’s actually kind of sweet if you think about it!

A source close to the couple says that Miley has been hitting the gym for three hours a day and eating only 500 calories and it all stems from her desperate need to hold on to the love of her life.

The ridiculous thing is, she started this regimen because she was worried Liam would fall for his [Hunger Games] co-star Jennifer Lawrence… She decided that the only way to keep him was to get the best body of her life.

We hope Miley can get her head on straight and figure out that Liam wants to marry her just the way she is – if she keeps up with this crazy dieting, there’s barely going to be anything left for him to love!

Sources close to Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth, claim that the recently engaged couple will never make it down the aisle!

According to one source, none of Miley and Liam’s friends think the couple will follow through with their engagement.

None of their friends are expecting them to actually make it down the aisle…

So does this mean we shouldn’t start shopping their registry just yet?  But we picked out the cutest blender!

Apparently, Liam’s notorious wandering eye is the source for much speculation regarding the validity of the couple’s marriage intentions.  Plus, according to friends, the two continue to fight like crazy!

He’s known to be quite the dog… Their fights can get really out of control! They’ll scream and yell like crazy!… The truth is, her family isn’t really expecting Miley to spend the rest of her life with Liam. She’s still a teenager, and really isn’t ready for marriage.

19-year-old Miley Cyrus has been dreaming about her wedding day since she was a little girl – which was like three years ago, so lucky for her, those dreams are still fresh in her mind!

According to a source close to Miley and her hubby-to-be, actor Liam Hemsworth,

Nothing has been definite yet… She’s just pretty much brainstorming everything about her wedding. I know she wants to have a summer wedding, something on the water maybe…  It’s totally going to be something not ordinary. That’s Miley for you…I t will be something completely different than normal but appropriate for she and Liam.

We certainly hope our girl isn’t going to try and throw something together for this summer!  But, to be fair, Miley is looking uber-fabulous these days.  We’re not seeing any crazy bridal diets in this girl’s future!

Although Liam has a busy filming schedule coming up in the next few months, a source claims that the 22-year-old actor actually wants to be involved in some of the wedding planning.  ***Insert gasp here***

I know that the first thing she and Liam will decide on is their wedding colors. That, they’ve already been talking about…

It’s official!  Longtime lovers (ew, sorry) Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth are headed for the altar!

A rep for Hemsworth confirmed that The Hunger Games star and his 19-year-old GF became engaged on May 31st.

The couple, who’ve been romantically linked since filming The Last Song together in 2009, are yet to set a date for their nuptials, but with a 3.1 karat Neil Lane diamond on her ring finger, we’re sure Miley’s more than ready to say “I do!”

Back in March, when rumors swirled around a suspicious TwitPic of Miley’s left hand sporting a giant rock, the couple assured fans that they weren’t quite ready to take their relationship to the next level… yet.  However, insiders have been claiming for months that Liam’s been dying to pop the question and was just waiting for the right moment.

They’re still keeping it a big secret, but they’re seriously talking marriage… Liam is crazy about her.

According to another insider, the whole Cyrus clan is ecstatic over the family’s second engagement of the year – son Trace Cyrus proposed to his girlfriend, actress Brenda Song in January.

The whole family loves him… They know Miley’s no angel, but she’s much calmer with him in her life.

When you mix one part rapid ascent into superstardom, a hint of dirty dancing and a dash of jealousy – well, things just never end well.

According to reports, Hunger Games star Liam Hemsworth was up in arms over the weekend because of some less-than-desirable dance moves his girlfriend Miley Cyrus was workin’ when she attended an April 18 party at Beacher’s Madhouse in L.A.

Miley was dancing on tables all night, and they argued. He was furious.

Table dancing?  Really Miley?  This isn’t the 2009 Nickelodeon Kid’s Choice Awards…
