Despite the fact that One Direction’s Liam Payne contemplated not going out on tour last month so that he could spend more time with longtime girlfriend Danielle Peazer, the pair have officially decided to end their relationship.

A source close to the couple revealed,

They have been trying for months to make it work but it just hasn’t. They had a big chat last month and decided there wasn’t any point in dragging it out. Liam’s on tour until November and Danielle’s very busy so they basically never see each other. It was extremely amicable though, which is good because there’s a strong chance Danielle will still be in the lads’ upcoming 3D film. The boys are still filming it and editing is going to go right down to the wire. But she’s been there for most of the filming so it’ll be tough to cut her out and Liam wouldn’t want that anyway.

Well, we’re glad these two are parting ways amicably, but we sure hate to see this relationship end.

Although the couple claims that this time, their breakup is for good – Liam and Danielle have withstood a lot of storms during their courtship and because of that, we just can’t really see this breakup being a forever kind of thing…

Much like their “split” back in September 2012!

According to sources, One Direction frontman Liam Payne was set to call it quits with the boy band that made him famous!

Apparently, Liam was none too pleased when 1D management said that his longtime GF Danielle Peazer would not be permitted to join the fellas on their upcoming tour.

We can understand Liam being upset, but QUITTING the band?  That seems a bit extreme!  Luckily for all us 1D fanatics, Liam has apparently come to his senses and will not be leaving the band any time soon.

For the sake of our listening pleasure, let’s just hope that Danielle and Liam can make this whole “long-distance-relationship-thing” work!

After an ultra-akward run in during the BRIT Awards red carpet last night, Karma Chameleon singer Boy George and One Direction’s Liam Payne got into an all-out, pop star throw down in the Twitterverse!

Apparently, B.G. got his feathers ruffled (literally) when Liam refused to stop for a photo-op and took to his Twitter account to vent his frustrations.

@BoyGeorge: Top marks to Harry Styles for stopping for a picture with my niece and Bollox’s to Liam and the disrespectful wanker of a minder!

Man, it’s times like these we really wish we spoke Brit!

Liam wasted no time in responding, firing back via his personal Twitter account:

@Real_Liam_Payne: …Now now boy lets not tell porkies firstly thanks for getting my name wrong three times secondly then asking me where is liam?…akward then when you finally got it right saying you wanted Niall instead. if you would have asked me for a picture i would have stopped bro I just did what you said and pointed niall out for you so u just keep wearing ur strange hats and enjoy yourself my little Georgie pie… It’s still not cool you just look wierd [sic]

Whoa.  Liam.  We know you’re peeved and all, but didn’t anyone ever tell you to respect your elders?  Even if they do wear weird hats…

Preferring not to take the high road, Boy George replied,

You were rude but whatever! Everyone wants a piece of you! I get it. I bet Debbie Harry is fuming!

After that last Tweet, 1D fans all over the world started a full-on Twitter assault on the 80′s pop star,  topped off by one final Tweet by good old Liam:

Jeez!  Seems like a lot of fuss over a miscommunication?  Aren’t you both worried about bad Karma

One Direction fans nearly brought jolly old London town to its knees today, waiting for the boys outside their BBC Radio 1 appearance.

But their excitement was certainly well worth it, because during their interview, the recently single Liam Payne opened up about his A-list celebrity crush.

I do have a crush on Leona Lewis, she’s hot! I have met her. She’s hot. I haven’t eaten dinner with her though.

Liam also revealed his top three “must have” qualities in a potential new girlfriend:

nice eyes, nice smile and good conversation!

Sounds like the X Factor hottie has got her work cut out for her!  Especially because the equally adorable BBC Radio 1 host Gemma Cairney shaved the One Direction logo into her hair for her interview with the guys!

After arriving stateside for the MTV VMAs, the boys of One Direction got to log some much needed hang time with friend, mentor and fellow VMA nominee Justin Bieber in L.A.

Reports say that the boys were excited to see one another, but according to The Bieb’s manager Scooter Braun, the hangout sesh (that’s short for ‘session’) may have been a little too much teenaged hottness for the world to handle.

so @justinbieber @niallofficial and @zaynmalik are all hanging out and @alfredoflores is the coolest. and now… teenage girls heads explode.

As a rule, we kind of think Scooter Braun is a major tool – but the guy may have a point here.

For his part, JB took to his Twitter account to give an official Hollywood welcome to 1D members Niall Horan and Zayn Malik,

We’re glad to see that these boys can put their VMA rivalry aside and hang out like regular guys.  Regular guys who are like, waaay hotter than normal regular guys

The boys of One Direction are at it again!

This time band members Harry Styles, Zayn Malik, Niall Horan, Louis Tomlinson and Liam Payne are showcasing their vocal chops by performing the Oasis hit single “Wonderwall” while casually hangin’ on the beach.

Because that’s what we always do when we’re relaxing on the beach with friends – break out in a 5-part harmony version of our favorite early 90′s pop ballad!

But we digress…

After their ultra high-energy performance at the closing ceremony of the 2012 London Olympics, this is a refreshing change of pace for these lads and we’re glad to see that their harmonies are just a sweet as they are!

During a recent interview with Elle Girl Japan, the boys of One Direction opened up about which one of their bandmates they believed would make the best boyfriend!

This isn’t the first time Liam Payne, Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson, Naill Horan and  Zayn Malik have talked openly about who they think the hottest “catch” in the band is, but it’s certainly the first time they’ve discussed dating one another!

So who was the #1 choice for the “best boyfriend” in One Direction?  Louis Tomlinson!

Both Niall Horan and Liam Payne said they though L.T. would make the best BF, while Louis himself chose Niall for his ideal boo.

I think I might date Niall. I was gonna say you, Niall. I’d like to go to a theme park with you on our first date.

How romantic!  Which 1D-er do YOU think would make the best boyfriend???

There’s never a dull moment around the boys of One Direction!

1D band members Zayn Malik and Louis Tomlinson set out to play a prank on their buddies Harry Styles, Liam Payne and Niall Horan during filming for some Nickelodeon promos, by pretending a very pregnant producer was going into labor – on set!

Nothing like a pregnant woman in trouble to make a bunch of teenaged boys get weak in the knees!

During a recent interview with Florida radio station 93.3, One Direction band members Niall Horan, Louis Tomlinson, Harry Styles, and Zayn Malik opened up about dating fans, how they’ve spent their down time on tour and about some pretty weird and wild celebrity body-part fantasies.

Guess we know why Liam opted to skip out on this one!

To start the interview, the radio host asked the guys if they would ever be open to dating a fan and, wouldn’t you know it, even after sharing a story about a crazed fan hiding in their dressing room trash can, the answer was a resounding “YES!”.  We guess there’s hope for all of crazy 1D fans yet!

Things got a little weird when the guys were asked, “If you were a chair, which celebrity would you want to sit on you?”

Ha!

Harry said that Jennifer Love Hewitt would be his choice rear end, while Niall, who apparently prefers a more “aged” rump said he would pick Jennifer Lopez.  Louis claimed Natalie Portman as his bum of choice and Zayn went for the classic pick, Halle Berry.

In a new behind-the-scenes video featuring the boys of One Direction, cameras caught Zayn Malik planting a big, fat, wet one on the lips of band mate Liam Payne.

Hmmmm – we knew those boys got around, we just didn’t know it was with each other

In the video, Liam is seen giving an interview on the set of the music video for the band’s single “One Thing”, when he is blindsided by Zayn grabbing his face for a passionate smooch.

Okay, maybe it wasn’t exactly “passionate”, but it sure was hilarious!  Probably not the sort of kiss Liam’s used to receiving from girlfriend, Perrie Edwards!
