Pretty Little Liars returns on January 3rd and there are a number of new characters added to the cast, including my personal favorite: Lindsey Shaw. Shaw, formerly of 10 Things I Hate About You and Ned’s Declassified is terrific and I look forward to her (as of now) 2 episode arc that begins in February. Shaw’s character Paige will go head to head to with Emily (Mitchell) as her rival for swim team glory.

Shaw joins the show regulars Lucy Hale, Ashley Benson, Shay Mitchell, Troian Avery Bellisario and Ian Harding as well as the just added Tyler Blackburn and Alona Tal – characters who are created just for the show and never in the original books.

This season sounds great! Can’t wait for it.

Lindsey Shaw will grace the cover of Zooey magazine for it’s September 2010 issue and above is a sneak peek. The 10 Things I Hate About You actress will take part in a photo shoot where she takes on different Alice In Wonderland roles.

Shaw just wrapped filming Smash, a movie about a very driven teen tennis player who gets injured and discovers she might have missed out not being an ordinary teenager.

Zooey magazine is the renaming/relaunch of Inspire magazine and will be on newsstand August 27th and will be the first entertainment magazine to be made of 100% recycled materials.

ABC Family original series “10 Things I Hate About You”, which was based in Julia Stiles and late Heath Ledger’s 1999 movie with the same title, has been officially canceled after only two seasons. NO! Please no! That was one show I actually enjoyed. The last five episodes will lead to a cliffhanger finale that will leave us begging for more.

The cast of “10 Things I Hate About You” will return with a brand new season of at least 10 new episodes in February. The series based on the 1999 movie with the same title broke the record for a 30-minute comedy debut with 1.6 million viewers on the ABC Family network. The end of 2009 is here today so let’s take a look back at the best TV shows aimed at and about teenagers. Some are more realistic than others and some are just downright guilty pleasures, but here are the Top 10 of 2009.

10. Gossip Girl - CW

Based on the books by Cecily von Ziegesar, the series about spoiled NYC teens on the Upper East Side was launched in 2007 and has been a favorite ever since. While ratings have slipped this year, it is still talked about. The cast (Leighton Meester, Blake Lively, Chace Crawford, Taylor Momsen, Jessica Szohr, Ed Westwick, Penn Badgley) is super hot and garners lots of press. Hopefully the storylines will pick up and get it back on track.

9. Make It Or Break It – ABC Family

Chelsea Hobbs, Josie Loren, Ayla Kell and Cassie Scerbo are the gymnastic Olympic hopefuls at “The Rock” in Boulder Colorado, training for their shot at the big time. ABC Family’s hit show (scoring their second best premiere) gives athletic teen girls a chance to see and strive for something more than boys and clothes.

8. True Jackson, VP - Nickelodeon

Keke Palmer is terrific as the Vice President of a teen clothing line and her navigation in the world of business and all the normal drama that comes from being a teenager. Palmer is funny, charming and talented. Her costars Ashley Argota and Matt Shively play off her well and the premiere set lots of ratings records for the network.
