Ashley Tisdale hit Los Angeles eatery Marmalade Cafe with her manager for brunch on Saturday November 13th. Tisdale brought her flavored coffee to the meeting and I’m sure the cafe staff was pleased with that…

In a happier note, Ashley and her Hellcats costars were nominated for a People’s Choice Award in the category Favorite New TV Drama. Hellcats next episode, “Pledging My Love” is due November 17th. If you haven’t caught the Cheerleader drama yet, what in the heck are you waiting for? It’s a great new show for the CW.

Variety’s 4th Annual Power of Youth 2010 event was held on Sunday October 24th at Paramount Studios in Los Angeles and Justin Bieber was among this year’s honored guests. Bieber has been very active with Pencils of Promise – the wonderful group that promotes change through education starting with the simple promise of a pencil.

Justin had more than pencils to hand out tonight though. The 16 year-old pop star is performing a sold-out show at the Staples Center in Los Angeles on Monday night and the generous Bieber reserved 500 tickets to give away for kids to come and have a good time and forget their troubles for a night. JB said via his twitter:

“heard there are a lot of kids at this event who havent had it easy. I know what that is like so i got some surprises. Now out in Ontario getting ready for the show but want to say thank u to @Variety for the Power of Youth ceremony 2day. Best part was I got to surprise the charities being honored. My show tomorrow at the Staples Center in LA is sold out but… …We saved 500 tickets to give 100 each to each charity being honored to give to kids in need and let them have a fun night they deserve. I know what its like to have some tough times so I hope those tickets make u kids coming smile a little. Gonna be a fun show. Thanks.”

Blake Lively took on Spike TV’s  “Scream 2010 Awards” on Saturday night, October 16th at the Greek Theater in Los Angeles. Lively presented the award for Most Anticipated Movie to her Green Lantern co-star Ryan Reynolds.

The actress wore head to toe Lanvin, (bodysuit, skirt and leather accessories) from their Spring/Summer 2011 line. Blake is one super hot woman, so it doesn’t really matter what she is wearing because she always looks fantastic, but that dress… and the leather harness and enormous insect brooch was a bit too much. What do you guys think: fashion HIT or total MISS?

Selena Gomez and The Scene will perform a special concert in Los Angeles at The Roxy to benefit UNICEF. Gomez posted this on her Facebook page:

In celebration of UNICEF’s 60th anniversary of Trick or Treat for UNICEF I have decided to do a celebration charity concert here in Los Angeles. On Monday, October 11th at 5pm PST tickets will go on sale at www.trickortreatforunicef.org/selena to my UNICEF Trick or Treat Celebration Concert.

The show will be held at …The Roxy 9009 Sunset Blvd., West Hollywood, CA on Tuesday October 26th, meet and greets begin at 5pm sharp, show time 6:30pm PST. Don’t worry for those of you not able to make it to the show I will also be streaming this concert live on UStream at www.ustream.com/selenagomez. There are only 185 tickets available to this show and all tickets will include a meet and greet with me as well as an up close and personal show. All proceeds from this concert will be donated to this years Trick or Treat for UNICEF campaign. I wanted to keep this as a very small and intimate performance so that I can interact closely with some of my fans but, I also wanted to spread the word of UNICEF all over the world while allowing people to enjoy the show everywhere.

Remember the whole purpose of this show is to celebrate UNICEF’s 60th anniversary of Trick or Treat for UNICEF, and while the UStream live stream will be free you can always choose to text TOT to 86433 to make a 5 dollar donation to UNICEF. I am so excited for this show and hope that all of you tune in to watch.

Miranda Cosgrove came out on Sunday night to be a part of the 2010 MTV Video Music Awards in Los Angeles held at the Nokia Theater. Cosgrove wore a lovely navy (it had a very 20s/flapper inspired feel to it) Elise Overland dress to the VMAs.

Cosgrove and the iCarly cast are currently shooting a Nickelodeon cross over movie with the cast of Victorious.

Hannah Montana star Mitchel Musso attended the 2010 MTV Video Music Awards in Los Angeles at the Nokia Theater on Sunday night. (Check out his twitter to see which Jersey Shore star he encountered!)

The actor and musician spent a lot of his summer touring and is now promoting his latest Disney show Pair of Kings, which premiered September 10th.

Taylor Swift has a little down time in Los Angeles before MTV’s VMAs on Sunday night and spent it having lunch with pals and shopping. Perfect!

The very popular star is rumored to have a new song to debut at the awards ceremony tonight. Swift is ready to address the Kanye West incident (you know – the one where West infamously interrupted Swift as she was accepting an award… read it here if you need refreshing.)

Nina Dobrev has one of the best jobs in television right now. The Vampire Diaries actress gets to play not only the sweet Elena Gilbert, but in the upcoming season, we will see more of her as the driven and maniacal vamp Katherine Pierce. Dobrev, who is the cover girl for the September issue of Saturday Night Magazine has this take on playing Elena and Katherine:

SNMag: What initially drew you to the show and the character of Elena?
Nina Dobrev: Well, I remember reading it and just being drawn to the fact that she was this average girl who was damaged in many ways and then I did some research and found out that I would probably end up having to play Katherine too, who is the complete opposite. This is one of the rarest, coolest opportunities in television, to play two people on the same medium.

SNMag: What can you tell us about Katherine coming back at the end of the finale last season?
ND: The only thing I can really tell you is that she’s back, and if I told you any more I’d have to kill you or bite you or something. But, yeah, she is back and you can just imagine now that she’s back in action things are just going to get more and more intense. It’s fun to see what she is going to do because she is just so spontaneous and crazy, but I’m just as in the dark as you are because they don’t tell us anything until we get there.

SNMag: Who do you have more fun playing – Elena or Katherine?
ND: I think like anything in life, whatever you’re deprived from or you don’t get to do as often, you end up enjoying more than anything else because it’s like a guilty pleasure. So, whenever I play Katherine, because I do it seldom, I have the most fun playing her.

As the promo for the new season is called ‘The Year of the Kat’ (check the super hot video here) she will get to don Katherine’s clothing more often – more fun for her!

VH1 Do Something Awards took place Monday night to honor people committed to social change. Joe Jonas, Debby Ryan, Demi Lovato, Kellan Lutz and Boo Boo Stewart all were honored or presented at the ceremony in Hollywood.

Kellan won the Do Something for the Animals award and Joe picked up the Do Something Music Artist trophy.
