Here is the official trailer for the movie based on the web series “I Kissed a Vampire” starring Lucas Grabeel, which is some kind of “Twilight” and “High School Musical” crossover. This is a fun and entertaining movie for sure… but not exactly Oscar material. So kids, enjoy!

“I Kissed A Vampire” web series starring Lucas Grabeel, Drew Seeley and Adrian Slade, turned into a feature film rock musical, which features 17 original songs. The movie will premiere at the Seattle International Film Festival in June.

Vampires and musicals may not seem like a good mix but if you have ever seen one single episode of the web series, you will definitely change your mind. It’s like a crazy combination of “High School Musical” and “Twilight”.

Actor/singer/producer Lucas Grabeel posed for a photo shoot for the NOH8 campaign, which defends equal rights for everyone. The 25 year-old “High School Musical” star has been busy with new music projects as well as a new movie, “The Legend of the Dancing Ninja”, co-starring David Hasselhoff and the first vampire musical web series, “I Kissed A Vampire”.

Dakota Fanning is confirmed for the role of Jane in “New Moon” so the next challenge will be casting her twisted vampire brother Alec.

Compared to Jane, “his hair was darker, and his lips were not as full, but he was just as lovely,” writes author Stephenie Meyer of Alec in New Moon.

The actors on for the role can be Tom Felton, best known as Harry Potter’s foe Draco Malfoy, High School Musical’s Lucas Grabeel, French actor Gaspard Ulliel of Hannibal Rising or Freddie Highmore, who sweetly stole scenes in Willy Wonka and Finding Neverland.
