During the Duracell Power Holiday Smiles event benefitting Toys for Tots, Pretty Little Liars star Lucy Hale revealed she stays as far away from “Black Friday” sales as humanly possible.

My only tradition is that I stay away [laughs] from it all… I’ve never been to a mall or a store on Black Friday. I don’t do good in crowds, I have anxiety — no, I can’t. Not even a good sale can bring me out!

Good for you Lucy!

The stunning brunette also shared that she will be keeping a low profile for her Thanksgiving day celebration, with very little family drama:

I’m going to spend a week-and-a-half at home in Nashville, and just hang out with family… I’m really excited. I haven’t been home in awhile.  My family has steered clear of [holiday drama] — I don’t know how…If anything, it’s been a food crisis — like, something was burnt or somebody forgot an ingredient. Otherwise, I have a small family, so it tends to be pretty low-key. We’ve lucked out in that way.

We don’t know Lucy.  A food crisis can go south pretty darn quickly.  Have you ever been at a Thanksgiving when somebody forgets to bring the sweet potato casserole?

We have.  It’s not a pretty picture.

As for how Lucy intends to give back this holiday season, she’s teamed up with the folks at Duracell to raise funds for Toys for Tots, an organization that provides Christmas gifts for kids in need.

I’m working with Duracell and their Power Holiday Smiles campaign. What it is is a sweepstakes, and you can go on their Facebook page, which is Facebook.com/Duracell, and you enter the sweepstakes to win some of the hottest toys of the season. For every entry in the sweepstakes, Duracell’s going to donate one battery to Toys For Tots to power up the toys for the holiday season… It’s cool, because you have the opportunity to win some pretty cool stuff, and you’re also helping out. Give a little, take a little — it’s good for everybody.

Certainly gets us in the holiday spirit!

Just days after denying that she and Teen Wolf hottie Colton Haynes are anything but friends, Pretty Little Liars star Lucy Hale has split with boyfriend Chris Zylka.

While we assume Lucy is taking the news rather well (and who wouldn’t if they had Colton Haynes waiting in the wings…) Chris is another story.  The Amazing Spider-Man actor took to his Twitter to dish on the breakup.

Don’t have a girlfriend — she decided she was too good.

Ouch!

The 27-year-old later rescinded on his nasty remark saying,

Never any disrespect towards anyone. Only if you say what you say you should stick to it. If you say you love then love.

Talk about playing the wounded puppy!

After Pretty Little Liars star Lucy Hale and Teen Wolf star Colton Haynes stepped out together at Mr. C Beverly Hills yesterday, the rumor mills swirled that the pair had finally taken their relationship to the next level.

However, during an interview with Us Weekly, Hale denied that she and the smokin’ hot MTV actor are an item.

I’ve known him from my Privileged days, from The CW…I don’t meet a lot of genuine people in my life and he’s a special kind of person, and I try to surround myself with people like that. He’s jut a friend here tonight. Although, I would be very lucky to have him on my arm! We’re just friends.

Likely story Lucy!

There’s no way that two people this beautiful could hang out together as “just friends”.  Oh sorry Chris Zylka… We sort of forgot that you and Lucy have been dating for the last six months.

But don’t worry, Lucy says that it’s only a matter of time before Haynes settles down with a nice girl of his own.

He could have anyone! He could have any young starlet. He’s so beautiful. I mean, you see what he looks like!

Yeah, Chris – you may want to keep a close watch on these two…

Apprently, Selena Gomez’s spoof Fifty Shades of Blue is about as close as the 19-year-old pop star is willing to get to the New York Times bestselling novel, Fifty Shades of Grey.

During a recent interview with MTV News, the former Disney star dispelled any rumors that she will be starring as Anastasia Steele in the book’s upcoming film adaptation.

I know I’m taking risks but I don’t think I could do that… That would be a little too much for me.

Glad to hear that Selena.  Glad to hear that.

But just because the Spring Breakers star isn’t looking to bear it all for Fifty Shades, that doesn’t mean other Hollywood heavyweights are clamoring for the part!  Pretty Little Liars’ Lucy Hale has expressed her desire to grace the silver screen as the naive Anastasia saying,

I think every girl on the carpet wants to play [Anastasia Steele]… That would be freaking awesome. I’m really curious to see how they’re going to turn it into a film.

Likewise, Vampire Diaries hunk Ian Somerhalder told Ryan Seacrest that he is more than interested in portraying the S&M-loving Christian Grey.

 I absolutely would be up for that. It could be very, very amazing… I have the book and I just started reading it. That would be a pretty incredible thing, and hopefully that could pan out.

Would Lucy and Ian make a steamy on-screen couple?  We’d certainly like to see them try!
