During the Duracell Power Holiday Smiles event benefitting Toys for Tots, Pretty Little Liars star Lucy Hale revealed she stays as far away from “Black Friday” sales as humanly possible.

My only tradition is that I stay away [laughs] from it all… I’ve never been to a mall or a store on Black Friday. I don’t do good in crowds, I have anxiety — no, I can’t. Not even a good sale can bring me out!

Good for you Lucy!

The stunning brunette also shared that she will be keeping a low profile for her Thanksgiving day celebration, with very little family drama:

I’m going to spend a week-and-a-half at home in Nashville, and just hang out with family… I’m really excited. I haven’t been home in awhile.  My family has steered clear of [holiday drama] — I don’t know how…If anything, it’s been a food crisis — like, something was burnt or somebody forgot an ingredient. Otherwise, I have a small family, so it tends to be pretty low-key. We’ve lucked out in that way.

We don’t know Lucy.  A food crisis can go south pretty darn quickly.  Have you ever been at a Thanksgiving when somebody forgets to bring the sweet potato casserole?

We have.  It’s not a pretty picture.

As for how Lucy intends to give back this holiday season, she’s teamed up with the folks at Duracell to raise funds for Toys for Tots, an organization that provides Christmas gifts for kids in need.

I’m working with Duracell and their Power Holiday Smiles campaign. What it is is a sweepstakes, and you can go on their Facebook page, which is Facebook.com/Duracell, and you enter the sweepstakes to win some of the hottest toys of the season. For every entry in the sweepstakes, Duracell’s going to donate one battery to Toys For Tots to power up the toys for the holiday season… It’s cool, because you have the opportunity to win some pretty cool stuff, and you’re also helping out. Certainly gets us in the holiday spirit!

After Pretty Little Liars star Lucy Hale and Teen Wolf star Colton Haynes stepped out together at Mr. C Beverly Hills yesterday, the rumor mills swirled that the pair had finally taken their relationship to the next level.

However, during an interview with Us Weekly, Hale denied that she and the smokin’ hot MTV actor are an item.

I’ve known him from my Privileged days, from The CW…I don’t meet a lot of genuine people in my life and he’s a special kind of person, and I try to surround myself with people like that. He’s jut a friend here tonight. Although, I would be very lucky to have him on my arm! We’re just friends.

There’s no way that two people this beautiful could hang out together as “just friends”.  Oh sorry Chris Zylka… We sort of forgot that you and Lucy have been dating for the last six months.

But don’t worry, Lucy says that it’s only a matter of time before Haynes settles down with a nice girl of his own.

He could have anyone! He could have any young starlet. He’s so beautiful. I mean, you see what he looks like!

Yeah, Chris – you may want to keep a close watch on these two…

Apprently, Selena Gomez’s spoof Fifty Shades of Blue is about as close as the 19-year-old pop star is willing to get to the New York Times bestselling novel, Fifty Shades of Grey.

During a recent interview with MTV News, the former Disney star dispelled any rumors that she will be starring as Anastasia Steele in the book’s upcoming film adaptation.

I know I’m taking risks but I don’t think I could do that… That would be a little too much for me.

Glad to hear that Selena.  Glad to hear that.

But just because the Spring Breakers star isn’t looking to bear it all for Fifty Shades, that doesn’t mean other Hollywood heavyweights are clamoring for the part!  Pretty Little Liars’ Lucy Hale has expressed her desire to grace the silver screen as the naive Anastasia saying,

I think every girl on the carpet wants to play [Anastasia Steele]… That would be freaking awesome. I’m really curious to see how they’re going to turn it into a film.

Likewise, Vampire Diaries hunk Ian Somerhalder told Ryan Seacrest that he is more than interested in portraying the S&M-loving Christian Grey.

 I absolutely would be up for that. It could be very, very amazing… I have the book and I just started reading it. That would be a pretty incredible thing, and hopefully that could pan out.

Would Lucy and Ian make a steamy on-screen couple?  We’d certainly like to see them try!

Lucy Hale stepped out at the 13th Annual Young Hollywood Awards presented by Bing at Club Nokia in Los Angeles on Friday evening.

The Pretty Little Liars actress chose a royal blue satin dress with black trim and lace overlay from GUiSHEM with Guiseppe Zanotti heels for the event.

The 21 year-old recently told Seventeen magazine she had an intruder in her house once!

“A couple of years ago, my house was broken into while I was home alone,” she told the mag. “I was living with my mom, but she wasn’t home at the time. It was the middle of the day, and this guy comes in, and it turns out that he was just mentally insane because I think he had thought he lived there, and he never threatened me.”

Hale continued “He started going upstairs and into my room, and then he left and I called the cops. It turns out that he had been missing for a couple of days and his parents were looking for him. It was insane.”

Yikes! Glad she was OK after that.

Scream 4 premiered at Grauman’s Chinese Theatre in Hollywood on Monday night and actress Lucy Hale walked the red carpet.

Lucy chose a black Georges Hobeika dress with mesh sleeves and a keyhole neckline with Giuseppe Zanotti bow tie heels for the flick’s premiere.

The 21 year-old was able to get a part in the movie because one of the producer’s wives was a fan of her hit ABC Family show and told her hubby to check out PLL for casting.

“I got a call from my agent, one of the producer’s wives was a “Pretty Little Liars” fan – she told them to watch since there were some good actresses on the show,” Hale told PopWrap.

“They called to talk to me about one of the roles – originally I read for the role that Brittany Robertson ended up getting, but I was still filming the show and my schedule just conflicted. They still wanted me to be a part of it and they were nice enough to let me do this other role,” she said.

Actress Lucy Hale looked super cute in a pretty little pearl white dress by Julian Joyce on the blue carpet of the 22nd Annual GLAAD Media Awards held at the Westin Bonaventure Hotel in Los Angeles, California on Sunday (April 10)- more pictures below.

The 21 year-old, who plays Aria Montgomery in ABC Family’s “Pretty Little Liars”, has just started filming a new season of the show and we can’t wait to find out if her relationship with teacher Ezra (Ian Harding) will survive.

Meanwhile, when asked about who is the cuter guy on the show, Lucy said:

“Oh my gosh, they’re all so cute, but if I had to pick one in real life, character-wise I think I’d go with Toby [Cavanaugh] (played by Keegan Allen). He’s got the whole mysterious thing going on, and he’s quite but still really sexy. That would be my type.”

The season finale of ABC Family’s hit show, Pretty Little Liars, starring Lucy Hale as Aria Montgomery, Troian Bellisario as Spencer Hastings, Ashley Benson as Hanna Marin and Shay Mitchell as Emily Fields, will be absolutely intense and insane as some questions are answered and others are raised.

Who is A? Do the four girls finally discover who has been taunting them since the tragic death of their BFF Allison? Who is going to die? Did Ian really kill Allison? What’s Melissa and Jenna’s role in Allison’s death? Is Jenna A?

In the first season finale on Monday (March 21) – “For Whom The Bell Tolls” (episode 22) – someone is going to have one shocking end… the girls will all have to face the most difficult challenges of the season. And who is going to die?

“I’ve been saying that it’s basically like a feature film that has been condensed into one episode,” Shay told MTV. “I say that because there’s just so many different things that happen with each of the characters.”

“There’s a lot of stuff with relationships and our significant others,” she continues. “So much juice in it. So much drama. So much intensity in this season finale. It’s gonna be great. You have to tune in.”

What happened to Mia? Is she and Emily still an item? Will Aria’s parents find out about her relationship with the sexy teacher? Can Spencer and Toby finally be together? What is Jenna’s evil plan?

Pretty Little Liars has a brand new episode on Monday January 31st. “If At First You Don’t Succeed, Lie, Lie Again” sees the super fabulous Lindsay Shaw start to shake things up at Rosewood High.

The official summary of the episode:

The Liars try to retain some normalcy in their lives, but even everyday activities are filled with drama. Emily (Shay Mitchell) is forced to deal with a teammate (guest star Lindsay Shaw) who is threatened by her return to swimming, while Aria (Lucy Hale) and Ezra (Ian Harding) make plans for their first date in public. Meanwhile, Hanna (Ashley Benson) is still being manipulated by “A”, and Spencer (Troian Bellisario) turns to Ali’s brother, Jason, for help.

During the shoot, the 21 year-old spoke about her style. Lucy said “I never know how to describe it. For me, it’s all about being fashionable but still being really comfortable.”

Lucy Hale and Shay Mitchell represented Pretty Little Liars for the 2011 Disney ABC Television Group’s TCA Winter Press Tour in Pasedena, California on Monday January 10th.

At the press conference for the show, it was announced that PLL has been renewed for a second season on ABC Family. Mitchell also spoke to the press about how honored she is to represent gay teens in a positive light, now that her character Emily has come out to her parents in the premiere episode. Mitchell said:

“If I can represent the gay community in a small way then I’m so honored and I couldn’t be more proud to do that.” She also says she has received an incredible response from fans, boys and girls, all over the world thanks to Twitter saying Emily coming out to her parents in the premiere has inspired them.
