Taylor Swift got a very public Valentine from Owl City musician Adam Young.

Young says he just recently decoded the hidden message Swift put in the liner notes of her Speak Now album and discovered the secret word in the lyrics of “Enchanted” is ADAM.

Swift has said about that song:

“It was about this guy that I met in New York City, and I had talked to him on email before, but I had never met him,” Swift told the magazine in November 2010. “Meeting him, it was just this overwhelming feeling of, ‘I really hope that you’re not in love with somebody.’ And the whole entire way home, I just remember … sitting there thinking, am I ever gonna talk to this person again? It was that feeling of pining away for a romance that may never even happen.”

Young has composed his own words to her song “Speak Now” and tells her how awesome he thinks she is and how impressed he is.

On the band’s blog he writes:

“Everything about you is lovely. You’re an immensely charming girl with a beautiful heart and more grace and elegance than I know how to describe. You are a true princess from a dreamy fairy tale, and above all, I just want you to know … I was enchanted to meet you too.”

Swift, who is in Asia on tour hasn’t commented on her Valentine song. What do you think?

The snow filled apartment of sadness that Swift suffers in and the guy (Taylor Lautner resemblance?) she sings to reflect her mood; melancholy. Her hot new (video) man? His name is Guntar Asmanis.

Taylor Swift gave a heartfelt performance of her apology song “Back to December” last night, November 10th, at the 44th Annual Country Music Awards. Held in Nashville, Tennessee the CMA audience saw Taylor at a grand piano accompanied only by a string section – no big guitars or huge chorus being belted out – this rendition was stripped down and restrained but still lovely. The tune is rumored to be a mea culpa to Swift’s former boyfriend, Taylor Lautner, neither of whom have confirmed or denied the story.

The stage had fog, a wrought iron fence and old-fashioned Victorian lamp posts as Swift was set in the middle on her piano. For the finale of the song, Swift had snow softly falling from the stage sky. The somber effect was ruined a bit at the end as you see the cameras sweep around the auditorium and back to Swift, who is mouthing “What?” at the curtains come down. Her rep tells EW that the singer was surprised by the standing ovation. Hmm, that doesn’t quiet seem to fit the face she made.

Country star Taylor Swift confessed that her new album “Speak Now” is based on her own personal life experience with the exception of the title song “Speak Now”, which is the story of one of her good friends (more details/video here).

Taylor Swift Explains New Song, “Back To December”

The song “Dear John” is rumored to be written about Taylor’s relationship with the one and only John Mayer (aka major douche!). John and Taylor were reportedly romantically involved when they worked together of his sing “Half Of My Heart” featured in his “Battle Studies” album, but the musician might have cruelly broken up her heart.

Taylor is not confirming this, but claims all the songs have “clues” to several stages of her life, which are directly linked with a love story… sometimes it’s good and other times you get hurt.

Taylor said, “They’re all made very clear. Every single song is like a road map to what that relationship stood for, with little markers that maybe everyone won’t know, but there are things that were little nuances of the relationship, little hints. And every single song is like that. Everyone will know, so I don’t really have to send out e-mails on this one.”

Another song that was supposed to have been included in Miley Cyrus’ “Breakout” album has been leaked. “See You In Another Life” was originally recorded back in 2007 and is about losing a lover and being able to move on with your life until you meet again (check out audio and lyrics below).

It’s a sweet song. Miley now has a completely different style, but she should go back to her roots because that is where she stands out. I also absolutely love “Giving You Up”, which was reportedly written for Nick Jonas (listen to “Giving You Up” HERE).

Nick Jonas & The Administration started their tour off in Dallas at the House Of Blues Saturday night. Chelsea Hobbs, Selena Gomez, brothers Joe and Kevin and new sister-in-law Danielle were all on hand to show their support as he and his band kicked off the tour supporting their debut effort. The band did a great cover of Owl City’s ‘Fireflies’ and Kings Of Leon ‘Use Somebody.’ Nick and the band are in Dallas on Sunday night and Nashville on Monday 1/4/10.

Rihanna is ready to release her next album, Rated R, on November 23rd and her first single, “Russian Roulette” is making it’s way across the internet ahead of her video. She co-wrote the song with Ne-Yo and the lyrics are bound to make people compare it to her rocky relationship with former boyfriend Chris Brown.

Gossip Girl star Leighton Meester’s new song titled “Somebody To Love” featuring Robin Thicke debuted on Ryan Seacrest’s KIIS-FM show on Tuesday (October 13). The song is the first single off Leighton’s debut album that will be released by the end of the year (audio below).

“I really wanted to make something completely different than anything that’s on the radio right now,” Leighton told Ryan, and she may have succeeded. “I feel like it’s dancey and fun, but still laid-back, relaxed, moody and sexy.”
