Country star Taylor Swift finally released a super cute, retro glam and fun music video for her song “Mean” out of her “Speak Now” album (watch video below). “Mean” is all about putting the bullies and the haters in their place. It’s very inspirational! Taylor ROCKS!

Taylor was in the receiving end of some harsh criticism, but she succeeded. Those mean people cannot hurt you, if you decided to continue on your path to success. The 21 year-old singer will debut another music video for her song “The Story of Us” at 7:53 pm ET on MTV before a special “MTV First: Taylor Swift” interview on Tuesday (May 24).

While this probably wasn’t everything he got from his older sister for his birthday, this is a pretty cute gift.

Taylor Swift was able to give Austin Swift a great big smile on his face when she surprised him with something a little unusual for his recent birthday: Lederhosen.

Taylor posted the pic on twitter of her and her 19 year-old brother carrying a tankard and wearing the traditional German clothing – lederhosen and tunic – while she looks on with a straight face.

“I finally got to see my brother and give him his birthday present– this outfit I bought in Germany,” the singer said with the accompanying photo.

Taylor, 21, is wearing a milkmaid/farmer’s daughter kind of dress (what no dirndl for you Taylor?)

Taylor Swift rocked the stage with a performance of her song “Mean” at the 2011 Academy of Country Music Awards held at MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on Sunday (April 3)- watch video below.

The 21 year-old singer was accompanied by a band while she played the banjo and asked people to clap their hands to the sound of her music. Taylor was incredible. There’s absolutely no doubt she is an incredible live performer. Taylor won the 2011 Entertainer of The Year award.

ACM Awards host, Blake Shelton, cracked a joke about Taylor’s personal life and her latest ex-boyfriend, Jake Gyllenhaal. He said the guy was gay because he dumped our Taylor… well… no comment!

Blake said, “Don’t make jokes about Taylor Swift. If you make her mad, she’ll write a song about you. She writes songs about guys who break up with her.”

He added, “Which I don’t understand in the first place. She’s beautiful, she’s talented, she’s sweet. What in the world was Jake Gyllenhaal thinking anyway? Wait a minute, he was in ‘Brokeback Mountain.”
