Miley Cyrus is next month’s Marie Claire cover girl and inside the pages of the ‘zine, the 19-year-old former Disney star opens up about the nitty-gritty of getting engaged, co-parenting and planning a future with fiancé Liam Hemsworth.

Life is too short not to be with the person you want to be with… I don’t really care about the wedding or the piece of paper as much as I do the promise we’ve made to each other. And we want to have a long engagement.

We totally support that decision Miley.  You are only 19 – it might be nice to be able to legally take part in the champagne toast at your own ceremony!

Speaking of engagements – Miley says that the 19th-century, 18-karat gold Neil Lane engagement ring Liam chose for her is absolutely perfect.

I saw something like it online at one point and thought it was really pretty, but I usually wear rose gold… I just love that it’s old and has a story. And I’m happy because it doesn’t look like anything else I wear.

Miley also chatted about the struggles of co-parenting with Liam – co-parent their dogs, of course!  Jeez!  Don’t you think we’d have mentioned it by now if these two had a kid together!

[Ziggy] doesn’t listen to me. She’s in love with Liam… She loves me when he’s gone, but she totally ate my diamonds on purpose. She was pooping them out all morning!

It looks like yet another Hollywood A-list couple has caught baby fever!

Newly engaged Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth haven’t even said “I do” yet, but the pair is already discussing their plans for expanding their large family!  And by “large” we’re talking about the five dogs they’ve already adopted together

Could this baby-mania have anything to do with Liam’s big brother Chris Hemsworth recently becoming a daddy?

Newly engaged couple Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth, took a break from their busy schedules yesterday, to squeeze in some R&R with their bulldog puppy Ziggy.

And of course Tweet an Instagramified photo of the moment out to the masses!

The Zigster (yeah, that’s what we call him…) is Miley and Liam’s fifth little fur ball of joy – besides their adorable bulldog pup, the pair are the proud owners of a Yorkie, Lila, an Alaskan Klee Kai, Floyd, a Rottweiler and Beagle mix, Happy, and mutt Mary Jane.

When Miley and Liam adopted Ziggy back in January, it didn’t take long for them to fall head over heels for the little ball of wrinkles.  Never one to keep her emotions in check, Miley Tweeted ”I love this girl” and “She’s an angel!” immediately after bringing Ziggy home from the pound.

Even we can’t hate on puppy love at first sight

According to sources, former Disney star Selena Gomez is replacing – well, fellow former Disney star Miley Cyrus as the voice for Mavis, the daughter of Dracula, in the upcoming animated feature Hotel Transylvania.

Hmmmm.  Wonder why that could be?  Perhaps because the producers of the film aren’t too thrilled that Ms. Cyrus keeps flaunting her unmentionables all over town?

But we digress…

The film, which will hit theaters in late September, will feature the voices of such Hollywood A-listers as Adam Sandler (who will provide the voice for Selena’s dad, Dracula) Andy Samberg, Cee-Lo Green and Kevin James.
