Actress Miley Cyrus, who is ready to ditch Hannah Montana, wants people to see her true self including raunchy outfits and outrageous dance moves (video above). Miley was only 12 years old when she became Hannah, but now she is 17 and becoming a very sexy young lady who knows exactly what she wants.

Hannah Montana: Forever, the fourth and final season premieres on the Disney Channel on July 11, 2010. YES! Today is the day! It’s the end of an era for Miley!

Singer/actress Miley Cyrus sat down for a very sweet interview with David Letterman, where she talked about hating Twitter, growing up too fast and being herself (interview highlights in video below).

Miley also presented the audience with a great performance of her latest single “Can’t Be Tamed” (watch video below).  The 17 year-old got rid of her dancers and dressed more appropriately for the occasion. And she rocked it! Despite not always agreeing with everything she says or does, we love Miley and we think she is a fantastic performer.

Actress Miley Cyrus, who is currently promoting her new movie “The Last Song”, gave an openly honest and heartfelt interview for the latest issue of Parade Magazine. The 17 year-old talked about the pressure of being in the spotlight, her fans, faith, Lady GaGa, her boyfriend Liam Hemsworth and, once again, the real reason why she left Twitter.

Miley has grown up to be a very sincere and beautiful human being. Of course she makes a lot of mistakes – we all do! We HEART Miley. Here are some highlights from Miley’s Parade interview (photos below):

On her fan base: “I am screwed up in the mind a little bit because I’m not like other 16- or 17-year-old girls. I have no perspective of who exactly my fans are, to tell you the truth. Teenage girls in general are hard for me. I’m not a girl’s girl.”

On country music: “It feels contrived on so many levels. Unless you’re wearing a cowboy hat and boots and singing and whining about your girlfriend or boyfriend leaving you it’s not going to sell. It makes me nervous, the politics of it all.”

On the paparazzi: “You have to ask, ‘Why would any other 50-year-old man who was stalking a 17-year-old girl go to jail, but not these guys?’ I mean, they couldn’t sit outside of a high school but they can sit outside my recording studio. It’s creepy.”

On her faith: “To me, faith is about having a clean slate and a clean start. The one thing I’m really strong about regarding my religious beliefs is that you should know a little bit about everything before you define your own beliefs.”

On Twitter: “I believe God is the only one who can judge us. That’s the reason I deleted my Twitter, because I said I believed in gay marriage because everyone should have the right to love each other, and I got hate mail about being a bad person.”

On Liam Helmsworth: “[Liam has] become my best friend. I love him. He really respects me for who I am because coming from Australia, he really didn’t know me as the celebrity I am here. I got to tell him about myself on my own terms.”

On Lady Gaga: “I really love her. She’s really smart. I used to be like, yeah, I guess she’s talented but how much is she really singing. But I’ve become a convert. She has to be smart to come up with all the stuff she comes up with. She gets it.”

Singer/actress Miley Cyrus seriously needs some type of reality check because she gets so absolutely boring and obnoxious during her unstoppable ramblings that she goes on to claim to be the coolest person ever and totally awesome too!

When asked if she would act like a bumbling idiot if she ran into Zac Efron here’s what she said: “No I’m pretty cool, I’m pretty much the coolest person ever…just kidding.” Then all serious she added: “I’m pretty much awesome.”

Actress Miley Cyrus is not a normal teen – she just declared she is not one bit excited about Twilight, in fact, she doesn’t even care since there is not one thing she likes about the Twilight franchise (watch video below). Can you imagine a teenage girl that absolutely hates Twilight?

“Not into it. I could care less. I’ve never seen it and nor will I ever,” she remarked. “People get… really into it….People always fall in love with the characters… It makes me kind of like, I don’t know. I’m not into it. I feel really lame because everyone is so excited and I’m like, ‘Don’t even talk about it.”

When asked why, Miley said she just can’t sick her teeth into the vampire-centric franchise.
“I don’t believe in it,” she said, comparing the fanaticism surrounding the hit series to that of cinema classics like Star Wars and Harry Potter. “I don’t like vampires,” she continued. “I don’t like any of the stuff. I don’t like the wolf that pops out on the screen when I’m watching my TV at night. I don’t like it. I don’t want anything to do with it. I don’t like the shirts, I don’t like anything about it.”

I’m shocked! If Miley is scared of things that pop out on her screen at night, what does she watch? Sesame Street?? Isn’t she a bit too old for that? Or Sex And The City?? But isn’t she a bit too young for THAT??

Another thing I found interesting about this interview is when Miley says parents need to control their kids and what they do on the computer. So I was wondering where were her parents when she sent underwear pictures to her boyfriend??

On if she has a curfew: “It depends if my mom is in a good mood or not. Like 12, but if my mom is being giving or I give like a really good smile sometimes I can weasel my way in a little later.”

On what she would’ve done if she were in Taylor Swift’s shoes at the VMAs: “I would have said rude, um disrespectful, and let me finish my speech. I’m glad she got to do that.”
