Actress Miley Cyrus, who is currently promoting her new movie “The Last Song”, gave an openly honest and heartfelt interview for the latest issue of Parade Magazine. The 17 year-old talked about the pressure of being in the spotlight, her fans, faith, Lady GaGa, her boyfriend Liam Hemsworth and, once again, the real reason why she left Twitter.

Miley has grown up to be a very sincere and beautiful human being. Of course she makes a lot of mistakes – we all do! We HEART Miley. Here are some highlights from Miley’s Parade interview (photos below):

On her fan base: “I am screwed up in the mind a little bit because I’m not like other 16- or 17-year-old girls. I have no perspective of who exactly my fans are, to tell you the truth. Teenage girls in general are hard for me. I’m not a girl’s girl.”

On country music: “It feels contrived on so many levels. Unless you’re wearing a cowboy hat and boots and singing and whining about your girlfriend or boyfriend leaving you it’s not going to sell. It makes me nervous, the politics of it all.”

On the paparazzi: “You have to ask, ‘Why would any other 50-year-old man who was stalking a 17-year-old girl go to jail, but not these guys?’ I mean, they couldn’t sit outside of a high school but they can sit outside my recording studio. It’s creepy.”

On her faith: “To me, faith is about having a clean slate and a clean start. The one thing I’m really strong about regarding my religious beliefs is that you should know a little bit about everything before you define your own beliefs.”

On Twitter: “I believe God is the only one who can judge us. That’s the reason I deleted my Twitter, because I said I believed in gay marriage because everyone should have the right to love each other, and I got hate mail about being a bad person.”

On Liam Helmsworth: “[Liam has] become my best friend. I love him. He really respects me for who I am because coming from Australia, he really didn’t know me as the celebrity I am here. I got to tell him about myself on my own terms.”

On Lady Gaga: “I really love her. She’s really smart. I used to be like, yeah, I guess she’s talented but how much is she really singing. But I’ve become a convert. She has to be smart to come up with all the stuff she comes up with. She gets it.”

Actress Miley Cyrus and her hot boyfriend Liam Hemsworth, who recently did one incredibly romantic photo shoot in Paris, France (photos here), will be at the premiere of their new movie, “The Last Song” in Los Angeles, California on March 25, 2010.

Two lucky (rich!) fans will have the chance to attend the premiere with the stars and meet their idol Miley in person during a meet and greet afterwards. CharityBuzz is hosting an online auction to make two fans’ dreams come true. The proceeds from this auction will benefit The Bony Pony Ranch, a non-profit organization founded by Dr. Frank Ryan to help underprivileged and at-risk youth excel beyond their current situations.

Miley Cyrus and “The Last Song” co-star and boyfriend Liam Hemsworth went to Paris, France, to pose in an extra romantic photo shoot that will be featured in the upcoming issue of Teen Vogue Magazine (April 2010). After these pictures, there is no question Miley and Liam are happily dating.

Miley on how “The Last Song” changed her: “In L.A., I had so many security blankets, people helping me with everything. I tried to book my friend a flight, and I didn’t know how because I was used to someone doing it for me. I didn’t want a babysitter anymore. I came to Tybee Island crying harder than I had ever cried in my life—and I left with the biggest smile on my face.”

Miley on meeting Liam: “He’s really tall. I thought, Either I’m going to have to be in heels or standing on something for this entire movie! He definitely showed chivalry: I remember him opening the door for the director, and I was like, Wow.”

Liam on meeting Miley: “It was funny—working with Miley was a lot easier than I thought it was going to be. From the first time we read, it was like I had known her before.”

Miley on taking a break from music: “The more I make music that doesn’t truly inspire me, the more I feel like I’m blending in with everyone else. So after this next album, I’m taking some time off.”

Miley on Sex And The City: “I know everyone says Carrie, but I love Kim Cattrall, so I’ll say Samantha. I want to be her because she’s the hottest, she’s funny, and she has attitude.”

Actress/singer Miley Cyrus did not bring her boyfriend Liam Hemsworth to the Oscars but instead chose to be escorted by her mom, Tish Cyrus. The truth is the mom-daughter duo looked stunning on the red carpet of the 82nd Annual Academy Awards held at the Kodak Theater in Los Angeles on Sunday (March 7).

The 17 year-old wore a beautiful strapless champagne Jenny Packham gown, which was perhaps a bit too revealing on top (a bit more fabric wouldn’t hurt!). Miley joined by Amanda Seyfried presented the award for Best Song during the Oscars ceremony.

Is Miley Cyrus back on Twitter?? Miley hijacked her best friend Emily Osment’s Twitter account to send one tweet accompanied by a funny picture (below) after posing with Emily just to prove it was really her. Miley! Really! On twitter! Again!

“Hannah Montana” Miley Cyrus and “High School Musical” Zac Efron join Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner, who are already on the carefully selected group of presenters for the 82nd Annual Academy Awards ceremony on March 7.

The presence of these four young rising stars serves the purpose of attracting a younger audience while trying to boost ratings for the show. That is a fantastic idea! We are only going to endure the torture of watching the Oscars, if we can see OUR favorites stars there!

Miley Cyrus and actress Demi Moore are set to play mother and daughter in the remake of the French comedy “L.O.L. Laughing Out Loud”. The movie tells the story of a 15 year-old teen, who dumped by her boyfriend and starts falling for his best friend, while her mother is dealing with romantic problems of her own. But why is the movie called LOL? The teen is completely addicted to IMing! What teen isn’t nowadays?

Disney star Miley Cyrus has moved on and is currently dating Aussie actor Liam Hemsworth but her ex-boyfriend, underwear model Justin Gaston recently confessed he is still not over the end of their relationship. Justin felt the need to express his emotions through music, with his new single “Paper Hearts”.

“You can always tell when someone’s getting ready to leave you, but you try so hard not to believe it and to hold on to every bit of hope that’s left,” Justin revealed to E! News.

Justin was left heartbroken. He is keeping himself busy now and making music is some sort of escape. “I think everyone experiences the side of being hurt where you feel like you’ll never feel again,” he said. Aww!! It must be hard to be so quickly replaced by such a super hot actor like Liam. Miley is such a heartbreaker!

Disney star Miley Cyrus has had a really hard time making the transition from the sweet, adorable Hannah Montana star to a more mature performer, who abuses sensuality on stage as part of her performance. VH1’s new documentary “The New Virginity” analyses Miley’s transition from the controversial topless Vanity Fair photo shoot to the pole-dancing at Kids’ Choice awards.
