Parents Television Council is not happy with the direction Miley Cyrus is giving to this new stage of her career and they were horrified by the oversexualized former Hannah Montana star in her new music video for “Who Owns My Heart” (watch video here).

Parents Television Council’s President, Tim Winter, claims the 17 year-old singer is turning her back on her young fans who admired the “old” Miley. The parents do not want their kids to see the “new” Miley in underwear and bumping and grinding with both girls and guys at a club.

Winter told TMZ, “It is unfortunate that she would participate in such a sexualized video like this one. It sends messages to her fan base that are diametrically opposed to everything she has done up to this point. Miley built her fame and fortune entirely on the backs of young girls, and it saddens us that she seems so eager to distance herself from that fan base so rapidly.”

The guy has a point. You cannot let 5 year-old girls who love Hannah Montana think it’s appropriate to act like a raunchy 17 year-old new Miley. Of course, Miley has the right to decide whatever she wants to do with her career.

Unfortunately, Liam had to accept the “Fave Kiss” KCA award for “The Last Song” by himself since Miley could not make it to the ceremony. However, the Hannah Montana star was still able to send her “boo” a message during a taped acceptance speech for “Fave Movie Star”.

Miley warned Liam that she was watching him and he better not be looking at other girls (watch video below). Ah!! So Miley and Liam are still very much in love… for how long? Who cares!?! They are still young…

Hannah Montana died! A new Miley Cyrus is born! The 17 year-old strips down to her underwear to roll around in bed, play in the bathroom and get freaky on the backseat before bumping and grinding at a club in the new music video for “Who Owns My Heart” (watch video below), the second single out of “Can’t Be Tamed”.

This is a typical dance song. As I said before, Miley should go back to her roots. Go country and dress appropriately. This music video was apparently just released for European eyes… the US has to wait a couple more months until Miley 18th birthday to see her scantily-clad on the cover of some men’s magazine.

Singer/actress Miley Cyrus will be auctioning off several items of clothing and accessories on eBay to benefit “Get Ur GOOD On” charity, which is a a social network that connects youth with volunteer service opportunities and is run by Youth Service America.

“For me I get this amazing blessing and opportunity to do this every day and get up on stage and hopefully inspire people with my music,” Miley said in a video on the Get Ur Good On site. “And that’s something that’s really important to me, but so is getting involved in charities.”

“There’s amazing charities right here in America. You don’t have to travel 30 hours… you don’t have to give a billion dollars. It’s not about how much or how far, it’s about looking at your neighbors and seeing how you can help,” she explained. “This isn’t just stuff that’s all over the world, it’s right here, it’s right next to you. It’s important to get involved.”

Here is a deleted scene from Miley Cyrus’ last movie “The Last Song” included in the DVD’s bonus features (watch video above). In this short clip, Steve (Greg Kinnear) offers his daughter Ronnie (Miley) vegan cookies, but she has to explain she is just a vegetarian and she can eat normal cookies.

It’s cute, it’s funny! Miley is a great actress!

Singer/actress Miley Cyrus sat down for a very sweet interview with David Letterman, where she talked about hating Twitter, growing up too fast and being herself (interview highlights in video below).

Miley also presented the audience with a great performance of her latest single “Can’t Be Tamed” (watch video below).  The 17 year-old got rid of her dancers and dressed more appropriately for the occasion. There are so many people out there that are so negative and always causing new issues. I feel like the entertainment industry has become nothing but a disgusting tabloid.
I performed Cant Be Tamed this week on one of my favorite shows here in the UK Britians Got Talent. Which is totally true, there were some amazinnnggg acts (but of course no one could focus on that.)
I had such a blast and was so honored to be on that stage. That being said during my performance I supposedly “KISSED A GIRL” and this is the newest thing to cause controversy.
I promise you I did not kiss her and it is ridiculous that two entertainers cant even rock out with each other without the media making it some type of story. I really hope my fans are not
disappointed in me because the truth is I did nothing wrong. I got up there and did my job which is to perform to the best of my ability. I just want to put an end to this right now and just say one thing to everyone out there making this performance such a big deal.

GET OVER IT! NOTHING HAPPENED. THERE ARE WAYYYYYYY MORE IMPORTANT THINGS IN THE WORLD.
Lets start focusing a little less on making up ignorant rumors and focus a little more on world peace!
We gotta a lot of work to do if we wan this earth to be here much longer. Lets make a change! It wouldn’t hurt the world to show a little more love.

Hardly the appropriate age to oversexualize yourself in raunchy outfits doing stripper-style dance moves, and now simulated lesbian kisses. You’ll have plenty of time later for ALL that.”

Miley will be 18 years old soon. Then she can go on kissing every boy and girl she wants. Remember Katy Perry? Well, she kissed a girl and she liked it…
