The boys of One Direction have a lot on their plates right now, their album “Up All Night” debuting at #1 on the charts, a full-on North american tour, capped off by a mega-performance at Madison Square Garden and now an all-new episode of iCarly, “iGo One Direction,” airing Saturday night on Nickelodeon!

With a schedule like that, how do these guys find time to stay so well groomed?

Oh yeah, and to add another item to their to-do list, bandmembers Niall Horan, Louis Tomlinson, Zayn Malik, Laim Payne and Harry Styles are also currently in the studio working on a project with fellow teenaged pop music heartthrob Justin Bieber.  That’s a lot of hair for one recording studio…

Well, actually, didn’t The Biebs have to shave his head after being slimed during the Kids Choice Awards over the weekend?  But that’s a whole different subject…

The boys of 1D are super psyched about teaming up with the Miranda Cosgrove and the rest of the iCarly gang for Saturday night’s show, so make sure to check out a sneak peek of the episode below!

iCarly star Miranda Cosgrove has much to be thankful for this year – the 18-year-old actress made a remarkable recovery after a bus accident cut the legs out from underneath her 2011 tour (excuse the pun) and recently landed the cover of Girl’s Life Magazine.

Inside the pages of GLM, Cosgrove dishes about how going through surgery after the accident really changed her – for the better.

When anybody goes through something hard like that, it does something to them. Even though it was a bad accident, it changed me in a lot of good ways.

One of the first things I thought after surgery was, ‘Oh my gosh, driving isn’t going to be as fun now.’ But I’m over it and can’t wait!

Miranda also opened up about her love affair with iCarly costar, Nathan Kress.  Just kidding, but seriously, don’t you agree that these two need to hook up already?

I went on my first blind date last week. I think it was good for me to try that, just to go in not knowing much and be able to talk about anything. When I meet boys, I measure them on a Nathan scale.

Miranda Cosgrove was injured late last week when her tour bus was in an accident with a tractor trailer.

The iCarly star was leaving Illinois and en route to a gig in Kansas when the tour bus came across the overturned and disabled semi.

Cosgrove’s driver hit the brakes but was unable to avoid the other vehicle.

Miranda broke her ankle, her mother was also injured along with two others. The bus driver was in the most serious condition and had to be airlifted to a nearby hospital where he received around 45 stitches.

“Miranda’s mom was on the bus with her and got really beaten up by the crash,” a source told People. “She’s expected to fully recover, but it’s scary because the driver was hurt, too, and he’s in really bad shape.”

“This was a life-threatening crash,” the source continues, adding that the driver is in critical condition after the bus collided with a tractor-trailer. “A piece from the tractor-trailer went straight through the windshield and the driver’s arm was sliced all the way through.”

Miranda was “really shaken up” by the incident. She is recovering and tweeted to fans on Friday, letting them know she’s doing all right.

“Thank u so much for all your messages,” the teen star tweeted. “They mean so much to me. Yesterday was extremely scary & I’m just so happy everyone’s gonna be okay.”

The 18 year-old is reportedly telling friends that thanks to the bus driver’s decision not to swerve and (probably) overturn their bus, her life may have been saved.

YAY!! Nickelodeon star, Miranda Cosgrove and the rest of the troupe, Jennette McCurdy, Noah Munck, Nathan Kress and Jerry Trainor, will return to our screens with the fifth season of iCarly in 2012.

“Our audience will be psyched to get more of what they love – new episodes of their favorite show, iCarly,” said Marjorie Cohn, Nickelodeon’s president of original programming and development.

iCarly has been a major success for Nick. Last week’s episode “iOMG” had more than 7.4 million views and was the most watched basic cable program. It also made the top of cable’s top kids’ telecast this year.

13 new episodes were ordered for the fifth season, which will begin production in 2012. The season will premiere later that year.

Miranda Cosgrove stepped out on the orange carpet for Nickelodeon’s 2011 Kids Choice Awards held at the USC Galen Center in Los Angeles on Saturday, April 2nd.

The 17 year-old actress was presenting the first award of the night for Favorite Movie Actor with American Idol judge Steven Tyler. The winner, Johnny Depp, slimed the audience with the slime gun at the podium.

The iCarly cutie, who said on the carpet “I want to get slimed!” was not in Depp’s line of green goo fire.

iCarly’s Miranda Cosgrove appears as a tween idol trying to gracefully make the transition from a teen to a grown up star on the cover of the latest issue of The New York Times Magazine.

“The first time someone called me a role model,” Cosgrove recalled, “I remember thinking, What does that mean? But I feel aware of it when I’m reading scripts. I want to be able to make things that the people who watch my show can see and that they would enjoy.”

The 17 year-old Nickelodeon actress knows exactly what she wants and she is working hard on not disappointing her fans, who grew up watching her on iCarly.

Miranda said, “I want to be able to make things that the people who watch my show can see and that they would enjoy.”

When asked about plans for the future, Miranda has no idea what she will be doing in five or ten years, but she hopes to at least have her driver’s license in a year. LOL.

The 2011 Kids’ Choice Awards hosted by Jack Black is set to become the most memorable KCA in Nickelodeon history. The band Big Time Rush, Blacked Eyed Peas and the incredibly talented and cute Willow Smith will perform on stage at the awards ceremony in Los Angeles on Saturday (April 2).

“I’m so excited to be performing at the Kids’ Choice Awards,” Willow Smith says. “Really hoping I don’t get slimed!”

Other celebs in risk of getting slimed include names like Willow’s brother, Jaden Smith, Kourtney and Kim Kardashian, Miranda Cosgrove, Glee’s Cory Monteith, Nick Cannon, Sofia Vergara, Jason Segel, Russell Brand and Josh Duhamel.

BUT there’s more! Britney Spears is back with a new album “Femme Fatale” and she is also set to make one very special appearance during the awards show. Great lineup of celebs. We can’t wait!

Miranda Cosgrove lands on Seventeen magazine’s cover for March 2011.

The iCarly actress talks about boyfriends and secret heartbreak for the upcoming issue:

“I’ve only had one serious boyfriend, but we dated for three years. We broke up not that long ago. He’s the one guy I really, really liked. People say they have that one person they never forget – I feel like that. Even though we don’t talk too much anymore, he’ll be the one who got away.”

Cosgrove doesn’t name names who her 3 year romance was with (she met him at work,) but who ever it was, she’s still not over him:

“I’ve been on two dates and I meet really nice people all the time, but I’m not completely over my ex,” she says. “Right now I feel a little funny going out with people.”

Miranda should take all the time she needs to heal and then when she’s ready, get right back out there. She’s a beautiful girl with a big heart.

Miranda Cosgrove hit the blue carpet of the 2011 People’s Choice Awards in Los Angeles last night.

Cosgrove wore a Nicole Miller shimmering sequin silver shift dress and it was perfect on her.

The 17 year-old actress went home empty handed awards wise. She was up for Favorite Family Movie (Despicable Me) and Favorite Family TV Movie (iCarly iPsycho) but lost out to Toy Story 3 and Camp Rock 2 The Final Jam.

Miranda Cosgrove is working hard on new music and her first single “Dancing Crazy” hit iTunes today.

The new song was cowritten by Avril Lavigne (you can definitely hear the influence) and the cover artwork for it is above.

Cosgrove was in the studio today, working with Rivers Cuomo from Weezer on a new single and she tweeted:

“In the studio. Rivers is the bomb.”
