Solo on the cover of Teen Vogue’s April 2010 issue, Miley Cyrus grabs the coveted spot again for the magazine. Inside, Miley and her The Last Song costar (and boyfriend) Liam Hemsworth have a lovely Paris photo shoot together. The ever-humble Miley:

On her chemistry with Liam: “I think we’re both deeper than normal people-what they think and how they feel. He’s very grateful for what he has, but he doesn’t let it go to his head. I’m like that too.”

Jordin Sparks hit the catwalk at Bryant Park in New York City on Friday February 12th, to model a red dress as part of “The Heart Truth’s” collection. The designer dresses are used as a symbol to inspire women to take preventative measures on heart disease, the number one killer of women.

Sparks looked amazing and radiant and was among a superstar studded runway including Heidi Klum, Kim Kardashian and Kristen Chenowith.

Emma Watson’s clothing collaboration with People Tree UK is due next month and this early review of the fashion line is very positive. The ethically and environmentally sensitive wearables not only encompass her principles, they are stylish and comfortable as well.

[...]there are cropped tracksuit pants, little sailor-stripe T-shirt dresses, cricket jumpers and hoodies, polo-tops and plaid shirts for the boys. As Watson herself admits, at present her competition is minimal. “I think young people like me are becoming increasingly aware of the humanitarian issues surrounding fast fashion and want to make good choices but there aren’t many options out there.”

I have been following Emma and People Tree’s collection development for a while now - hoping it was as good as it sounded. Lots of designers try to use sustainable or natural fibers and fabrics for some of their lines and some manage to positively contribute to impoverished workers’ futures, but very few do both. This has great potential to set the benchmark for other designers and firms to get both aspects working together and still make great fashion.

The line will be available on People Tree’s UK website in February. If you believe in it and like it - support it!

For Seventeen Magazine’s Prom issue, cover girl Selena Gomez gives us a behind the scenes peep at some of the (gorgeous!) dresses she’s wearing. The Wizards of Waverly Place actress also gave up some deets about the time she and Demi Lovato crashed a prom in Toronto while premiering their Disney hit movie, Princess Protection Program together.

Kendall Jenner, who is a younger sister (half-sister!) of the famous Kardashian reality trio and the infamous Brody Jenner, posed for a photo shoot to promote the ‘Forever 21’ clothing line.

The 14 year-old wants to become a supermodel, in fact, she signed as a teen model for the Wilhelmina Modeling Agency. Kendall thinks it would be a lot of fun to be as famous as her sisters. And she is our favorite Kardashian sister (and she is not even a Kardashian!!).

Jourdan Dunn has given birth to a healthy baby boy on Tuesday, December 8th. The model and her boyfriend of five years are proud parents and still deciding on a name.

The nineteen year old fashion model announced back in July that she was pregnant and would continue working as long as she could even doing the Jean Paul Gautlier show while 7 months along.

Congratulations to the happy mom and dad!

Dakota Fanning graces the cover of Teen Vogue for December 2009. Here are a few excerpts fromThe Twilight Saga: New Moon & Eclipse star interview:

On maturing in Hollywood: “I’m going to get older. . . And I want to act for the rest of my life — it’s what I love — so I have to move forward with my career. The choices that I make might not always please everyone, but I have to do what I feel is appropriate and right for the time.”
On acting out: “I get my rebellion out through my movies. I’m boring in that way. I enjoy having a normal life.”
Kristen [Stewart] on Dakota: “Dakota is one of the most consistent actors I’ve ever worked with. I’m always better with her.”

Fanning is starring as the evil vampire Jane of the Volturri gang for The Twilight Saga films and will be in the musical biopic The Runaways with Kristen Stewart, due out in 2010.

The theatrical release of The Twilight Saga: New Moon is still a month away yet from the amount of press Summit Entertainment is having the film leads do (Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart & Taylor Lautner,) you’d think it was only a week to go. That being said here is yet another interview with Robert Pattinson. Not too much new information from the guy - he’s still uncomfortable with the media frenzy that surrounds him and he’s relieved to not be in New Moon as much as he was in Twilight. He does however delve a bit into another project he has coming up with Hugh Jackman; Unbound Captives. The actor hung out with Jackman in Japan (both were promoting movies) and Pattinson said:

“We went karaoke singing,” he laughs. “We were singing Abba songs, it was pretty funny. It was sort of an Abba song sing-off, you know, last man standing.”

Who won? “I think he did, only because he can drink more than me and still sing in tune. He’s a cool guy and I’m really looking forward to that film.”

Captives sounds like a great departure for Rob. The film is a western set in the late 1800’s about a woman who has to search for her two kidnapped sons. It will also star Rachel Weisz and is currently slated to begin filming at the end of the year.

Pattinson’s other non-Twilight project, Remember Me with Emilie de Ravin and Pierce Brosnan is due out in February of 2010. In case you’ve forgotten, New Moon is due out November 20th.

For the November issue of Teen Vogue, models Chanel Iman and Jourdan Dunn were chosen to be the beautiful faces on the cover. What’s particularly unique about this? The two teens are the most successful black models going right now and in a time when fashion editorials, photo shoots and runways are almost entirely white, it says something that these two young ladies grab a cover. In the accompanying article, the teenagers do admit to struggling to get along with each other.

“It’s competition,” Jourdan told Teen Vogue. “There aren’t a lot of us, but instead of sticking together, we’re pitted against each other. People will say things in Chanel’s ear like, ‘Jourdan is taking your spot’, and then they’ll say to me, ‘Don’t trust Chanel’.”

The problem they face? There’s there’s only room for one black girl – apparently. “You’re being told, ‘So and so is only booking one black girl. It’s either you or Jourdan’,” said Chanel.

For now they have other projects: Chanel is working with Victoria’s Secret and Jourdan is pregnant but still doing the catwalk for designers like Jean Paul Gautlier. Check out more of the interview with the two teen stars here.

August, the Malaysian men’s magazine has chosen The Twilight Saga actor Kellan Lutz for it’s October cover. The actor who is currently filming Eclipse in Vancouver, tells the mag about how comfortable he is in front of the camera now and that he loves to work out. He looks great in these pics - you can’t deny it.
