Miley Cyrus Asda Fashion Promotion – PHOTOS

Written by Violet on November 9, 2010 – 12:28 pm -

Miley Cyrus is still overseas and the Disney diva turned up at a store in Derby, England to promote her clothing range George at Asda with Max Azria. Cyrus, 17, looked fabulous as hundreds waited to meet the pop star and have her sign a copy of her album.

Miley made a super-secret stop at a primary school (arranged by Asda) before heading off to the store signing. The kids were so taken with the Hannah Montana star, they giggled and were all smiles as they asked her lots of questions:

The kids were awestruck when their head teacher brought the singer into the hall – but soon hands were flying into the air as they got the chance to ask questions: “What’s your favourite song?”, “How do you change into Hannah?”, “Are you real?”, “Do you have a boyfriend?” That last question brought lots of giggles around the school hall and the answer “No!”

That was really very sweet of Miley. The kids were delighted by her!

Jonas Brothers Pay Tribute To Michael Jackson At 2009 MTV EMAs

Written by Gossip Gal on November 6, 2009 – 2:54 pm -

The Jonas Brothers revealed the late Michael Jackson has become an inspiration to them when they introduced a dancing tribute to the King at the 2009 MTV European Music Awards on Thursday (November 5).

Nick Jonas said, “This year we saw the loss of the greatest pop musician the world has ever seen. We and MTV wanted to pay tribute to the true king of pop, Michael Jackson. His unrivalled talent has shaped the musical landscape, influencing artists old and young.”

Joe Jonas continued, “The first time we heard Michael’s voice was when our dad played the Jackson Five’s ‘I’ll Be There’. We were amazed by the one-of-a-kind talent. The way that he and his brothers came together to entertain the world has been an obvious influence on us.”

The oldest member of the band, Kevin Jonas, then took over. “Michael Jackson influenced every listener and every future performer with a talent the world had never seen before. As a writer, as a singer, as a dancer and as a performer he was the best.”

Michael Jackson did have the power to inspire even those who really didn’t have the chance to experience those decades when Jackson ruled the world with the Jackson Five and Thriller. Good job, Jonas!!
