Tyler’s Transformation On ‘The Vampire Diaries’

The second season of the TV show The Vampire Diaries is adding more creatures of the night to the storyline. The original series of books by L.J. Smith (written way before the Twilight novels) did feature the character of Tyler Lockwood as the werewolf of Fell’s Church. This season the CW show is adding the Tyler transformation in Mystic Falls to it’s sophomore year.
The hints were laid out in the first season and Michael Trevino, who plays the raging-at-the-moon teenager, is taking the look of the wolf seriously. His costars Paul Wesley and Matt Davis however, are having some fun with him in this interview from MTV. Check out Wesley and Davis’ description of what should happen – very funny!

‘The Vampire Diaries’ Season 2 Scoop

The Vampire Diaries went out with a bang this season. Fingers and superpowered rings went flying, more burning vampires, the sad end of Anna (Malese Jow) and that kiss between Damon (Ian Somerhalder) and (Nina Dobrev’s) Elena, err Katherine… How does the show top all of that for season 2?
Executive producer Julie Plec gives up some serious sophmore year scoopage: Elena and Katherine (related? check!) Stefan (Paul Wesley) and Matt (Zach Roerig) forge a friendship and the werewolves are coming! the werewolves are coming!
Plec says writer Kevin Williamson is working on getting all our favorite characters more involved in the overall mythology of the show: Tyler Lockwood (Michael Trevino) and Jeremy (Steven R McQueen) will get more screen time – Yes!
I want to know – is there a Bonnie (Katerina Graham) and Damon romance in this season? I can wait for season 3, if I must, but I am totally on Team Bamon.
What do you want to have happen for season 2?

‘The Vampire Diaries’ Ian Somerhalder Says Stefan May Drink Blood

The Vampire Diaries happens to be one of my favorite new shows this year. Until new episodes start again, here is a short interview Ian Somerhalder did before the holidays and the show’s winter break to tide us over for the return.
In this, Somerhalder talks about Stefan’s (Paul Wesley) current diet of no human blood and how it might be possible to see that change, as well as how his character, Damon, might take a turn for the better. He also confesses to having been a bad boy – all with his very sexy smirk on his face. Love it!
New episodes start up Thursday, January 21st.
