Strike a pose!

The cast of Glee is on board with Vogue magazine and the Council of Fashion Designers of America to promote the annual Fashion’s Night Out event.

The PSA features Lea Michele and the cast taking on David Bowie‘s classic song “Fashion” and the entire video will debut on August 23rd on Vogue’s website.

Dianna Agron, Cory Monteith, Chris Colfer, Darren Criss, Jenna Ushkowitz and almost all the cast were involved – notably absent was Naya Rivera and Amber Riley.

FNO will take place on September 8th at participating in over 250 cities world wide with special extended hours, promotions and deals. Leading retailers including Lord & Taylor, Neiman Marcus, Macy’s and Nordstroms are among the businesses taking part.

New Year’s Eve filming in New York City continued this week with Zac Efron giving his costar Michelle Pfeiffer a vespa lift for one scene.

Efron plays a bike messenger and Pfeiffer a corporate secretary in the upcoming rom-com sequel to last year’s star studded Valentine’s Day.

In January at the Golden Globes, the 23 year-old actor told MTV’s Hollywood Crush:

“My scenes are with Michelle Pfeiffer,” Zac said with a grin. “Yeah, not a bad co-star.”

The Lucky One actor has worked with Hollywood legend Pfeiffer before. The two were costars in Hairspray.

Zac Efron is in New York City to work on his latest movie New Year’s Eve.

The 23 year-old actor is braving the winter weather to film his part in the ensemble featuring Michelle Pfieffer, Halle Berry, Ashton Kutcher, Abigail Breslin and Lea Michele.

Efron, who recently broke up with long time girlfriend Vanessa Hudgens, was spotted with actress Teresa Palmer at the beginning of the month and onlookers described the two as affectionate, but Palmer says not true.

“Wow laughing at all these crazy comments!! I am only going to say this once and never say it again….

Zac is my FRIEND and I have known him for years. I am very happy to be single and felt the need to put his young fans out of their misery!”

New Year’s Eve is currently filming and due in theaters in time for the holiday.

Vanessa Hudgens has new ink!

The 22 year-old Beastly star is in New York City this week attending fashion shows and she stopped off last night to get something else fashionable: a butterfly tattoo on her neck.

Hudgens and her friend, MTV Australia host and DJ, Ruby Rose had dinner with friends Lisa and Jessica Origliasso of The Veronicas. After dinner Rose accompanied Hudgens to tattoo artist Bang Bang in NYC and the actress left with her first tattoo.

The DJ posted the photos on twitter and said:

Please dont blame me.. But i may have convinced Vanessa hudgens to get a tattoo… Now. Her first.. By bang bang

She also mentioned that Nessa was deciding between her neck or her rib cage for the butterfly. Guess we know what she chose!!

Kick-Ass star Chloe Moretz landed a sweet guest spot on NBC’s 30 Rock.

Moretz let everyone in on her surprise earlier in the week with twitter:

So!! Tomorrow I start filming #30Rock bright and early, so you all should expect tweeting to start before the sun shines…oh yes <3 Night!

After she finished filming, she said:

#30Rock was soo fun to film today everyone is soo nice tina fey and alec baldwin r amazing

Looking forward to this episode! I adore her and can’t wait to see her with Alec Baldwin and Tina Fey.

New York City traffic is rough on horses. PETA and Glee’s Lea Michele are calling attention to the conditions of the horses who pull carriages through NYC traffic everyday.

“Imagine for a moment that you’re forced to do hard physical labor all day, seven days a week—whether it’s sweltering hot or freezing cold outside,” Lea says. “At the end of the day, instead of relaxing on [an] easy chair or sleeping in a comfortable bed, you are locked in a tiny closet all night long.”

The horses suffer a miserable fate according to the organization: lung and respiratory diseases, leg ailments and very cramped stalls and living quarters. The accidents caused by the carriages or other motorists end in terrible injury to both humans and animals (see the PETA fact sheet here.)

Michele and PETA (among other organizations) are calling for a boycott of the rides.

Gossip Girl star Leighton Meester took in the IFP’s 20th Annual Gotham Independent Film Awards in New York City at Cipriani’s on Monday November 29th. The actress, who presented at the awards ceremony, wore a menswear suit by Thom Browne with Salvatore Ferragamo heels to give her look a feminine edge.

Justin Bieber had a glorious day off on Thanksgiving – but only one day of rest for the busy multi-media tycoon. Bieber had a book signing scheduled on Black Friday (November 26th) at Barnes and Noble in New York City and as you can guess, it was jam packed with throngs of kids waiting to see their idol.

The 16 year-old superstar was so appreciative of the sheer number of fans that came out to support him that he decided to stay longer and let 1,000 extra kids come in and get a copy of Justin Bieber First Steps 2 Forever: My Story signed by him.

Justin is always awesome to his fans!

Blake Lively sparkled almost as much as the Swarovski tree topper she stood next to at the unveiling of the new 2010 Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree Star at this afternoon’s (Thursday November 18th) ceremony. The star will be on top of the tree at the official lighting on November 30th.

The Gossip Girl actress wore a black ruched dress with reddish/purple tights and a jacket with serious beading and turquoise embellishments around the neckline for the photo ceremony.

The Secret Life of the American Teenager and Pretty Little Liars on ABC Family will have new company from a TV veteran. Raven Symone is joining the cable channel in the new pilot The Great State Of Georgia. The Cosby Show and That’s So Raven star is set to take on New York City as Georgia, a young woman headed to the Big Apple to make her performing dreams come true:

The project, from ABC Studios, centers on Georgia (Raven Symone), an exuberant curvy performer from the south who is trying to make it big as an actress in New York City. Also cast in the pilot is Brock Cuchna (Melrose Place) as Georgia’s Southern ex-boyfriend who, still madly in love with her, comes to New York to  bring her back home.

The show is still a ‘pilot’ which means lots of changes could be made before (and if) it finally airs. Let’s hope Raven gets back to series TV.
