Actor Daniel Radcliffe is a passionate supporter of The Trevor Project, the national helpline for suicide prevention for LBGTQ (lesbian, bisexual, gay, transgender and questioning) youth. Radcliffe was in New York City this week to film a PSA (public service announcement) for the organization.

“I grew up knowing a lot of gay men and it was never something that I even thought twice about — that some men were gay and some weren’t,” the Harry Potter megastar said Friday. “And then I went to school and (for) the first time … I came across homophobia. … I had never encountered it before. It shocked me. I have always hated anybody who is not tolerant of gay men or lesbians or bisexuals,” the British actor added. “Now I am in the very fortunate position where I can actually help or do something about it.”

The Trevor Project has supporters such as Ellen DeGeneres and Neil Patrick Harris and Radcliffe’s commercial will air this spring.

Jordin Sparks hit the catwalk at Bryant Park in New York City on Friday February 12th, to model a red dress as part of “The Heart Truth’s” collection. The designer dresses are used as a symbol to inspire women to take preventative measures on heart disease, the number one killer of women.

Sparks looked amazing and radiant and was among a superstar studded runway including Heidi Klum, Kim Kardashian and Kristen Chenowith.

Daniel Radcliffe is looking ahead and has purchased several properties in New York City as investments. He has an apartment in SoHo, a three bedroom condo with a view of the Hudson river and now he has a townhouse in the Greenwich Village area. The actor is back in the UK filming the final installment in the Harry Potter franchise: Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows. He may eventually end up living in one of these homes when he returns to Broadway next year but for now he is a just a young, talented landlord. The picture below is the interior of his new house. Nineteen year old model Jourdan Dunn has confirmed that she is pregnant. The 2008 British Model of The Year is on every designers wish list to walk their runway shows and is a hot face for fashion editorial work but that will slow down until after she give birth this December. Dunn’s modelling agency, Storm, has announced the fashionable teen and her longtime boyfriend are expecting a boy.

A spokesperson for her agency, Storm said: ‘Jourdan is delighted and really excited. She’s had lots of lovely personal messages of support from all her friends in the fashion industry and it’s great news. We wish her all the best.’

Dunn is planning to continue modelling in New York and London after giving birth this winter.
