New Zealand’s Creme magazine has an absolutely lovely-in-lavender Selena Gomez gazing out at the world for the July 2010 issue. The Ramona and Beezus actress shared an inspirational message she received:

What gives her courage: “‘Tough times don’t last… tough people do.’ I heard it from a fan I met on the set of Ramona and Beezus. She had Leukaemia and had just gotten out of the hospital. The fact that a nine-year-old said that – I was like, ‘Wow!’ It stuck with me.”

Sel goes on to talk about her work with UNICEF (she’s the youngest ambassador ever):

On her Unicef sponsored trip to Ghana: “That’s why I feel very honoured to have a voice that kids listen to and take into consideration. I’ve had people asking me, ‘Where is Ghana?’ and Googling it. So, because I went there, they now know about it. Every day 25,000 children die from preventable causes. I stand with UNICEF in the belief that we can change that number from 25,000 to zero. I know we can achieve this because every moment, UNICEF is on the ground providing children with the life-saving assistance needed to ensure zero becomes a reality.”

Ramona and Beezus comes to the big screen on July 23rd.

The New Zealand magazine Girlfriend has Justin Bieber sitting pretty on the cover of it’s June issue.

Justin, who was recently in Australia, caused a bit of a stir when he made an appearance on the show “Sunrise” and told a show supervisor (who was trying to show Bieber where to stand,) “Don’t ever f’ing touch me again.”  For his part, JB denies this happened and responded on his Twitter:

“Family time with my mom couldn’t come at a better time….I was raised to respect others and not gossip…nor answer gossip with anger. I know my friends family and fans know the person I am. Hearing adults spread lies and rumors is part of the job I guess.”

Ash & Johanna, who run the twitter site @JBSource caught a lucky break and got the opportunity to interview Justin Bieber while he was in Australia! This is what they had to say:

“Ash and I (Johanna) were lucky enough to get some time with Justin while he was down in Sydney last Monday (the 26th of April 2010)!

I’m on first (white-ish top), and Ash after me (pink top).

And, apparently, it was the first time he’d ever done something like this! We’re so grateful

OH. We only had one night to prepare. We didn’t even know it was definitely happening until a few hours before. Chill out!

I talk real quick. It wasn’t because I was nervous. It’s just how I am. Sorry if you can’t understand it!
Ash was really nervous too.
We’re just teenagers. Give us a break! ahhahaha

Justin Bieber is finally in New Zealand! Biebermania has taken over the world. During Justin’s arrival to the country, his crazy fans allegedly attacked his mommy and stole one of his favorite hats – Justin was not happy and took to his Twitter to try to calm down his numerous fans and make them understand they need to behave. Yeah, right!!

Justin tweeted, “Finally got to New Zealand last night. The airport was crazy. Not happy that someone stole my hat and knocked down my mama. Come on people. I want to be able to sign and take pics and meet my fans, but if you are all pushing security wont let me. let’s keep it safe and have fun other than that…IM IN NEW ZEALAND!! THEY GOT NO PREDATORS IN THE WHOLE COUNTRY!! I AM THE MOST DANGEROUS CREATURE HERE!!”

Girls, Justin will not love you anymore if you keep treating his mom like that! NOT cool! The naughty girls who stole Justin’s hat did the right thing to return it to its owner. But from Justin’s reaction on Twitter, we don’t think they got any special treatment or even an autograph.

Justin tweeted, “Sorry…U cant hold me ransom. I got my hat back. no hugs. no thanks u’s. just glad they did the right thing. I dont condone thievery!! Haha. also got an ALL BLACKS Rugby Jersey with my name on it. So to sum it up got my hat back..mom is good..bungyed…got an ALL BLACKS jersey…”

Meanwhile, Justin is having lots of fun in New Zealand! He even went Bungee Jumping (watch video here)!

Selena Gomez spent some time with a New Zealand radio station talking about her music, her friends (or frenemies – depending how you look at it) Demi Lovato, Taylor Lautner, Nick Jonas and Miley Cyrus. She is a pro at not really answering any questions directly.
