One Direction hottie Niall Horan turns 19-years-old today and well, all of us here at GossipTeen would like to wish our favorite blonde 1D-er a very, very happy birthday!

Yeah, yeah – we know he’s the only blonde member of 1D, but let’s not split hairs.  Ha!

Niall’s special day comes right on the heels of a huge week for the singer.  His band just took home three Moonmen from the VMAs and his love life with X Factor judge and super-sizzling bombshell, Demi Lovato seems to be going preeeeeetty well!

Niall took to his Twitter account this morning to say a heartfelt thanks to some of his boys, who left him a birthday voicenote.  Is that what they call a “voicemail” in the UK?  How adorable!

Despite the fact that they’s been collaborating in the studio together over the past few weeks, that didn’t stop One Direction’s Niall Horan from trying to make a move on Justin Bieber’s girl!

Oh no he di-dn’t!

According to reports, Horan tried to hit on Spring Breakers star Selena Gomez when they saw each other at the Nickelodeon Kid’s Choice Awards a few weeks ago.

We have to call “poor form” on Niall here.  Dude, we love you, but these two have been together forever – do you really think one hit song and some bleach blonde hair is going to ruin that?
