Selena Gomez returned to Disneyland in Anaheim, California to tape the 2010 Disney Parks Christmas Day Parade on Sunday morning November 6th. The Wizards of Waverly Place star has been a featured performer for the last three years running and this year she shares the stage with Nick Cannon and Big Bad VooDoo Daddy. One of the songs she is doing for the TV special this year is “Winter Wonderland.”

Nickelodeon is ready to launch a new pop group called School Gyrls with the movie with the name of the band directed by Nick Cannon, which features a special appearance by the one and only Justin Bieber.

The gyrls Monica Parales (16), Jacque Pyles (15) and Mandy Rain (15) are actresses/singers/dancers with different styles and backgrounds but they are also great friends who share the same dream of becoming super pop stars!

Nick Cannon is hosting some amazing teens tonight for TeenNick‘s HALO Awards. HALO stands for ‘Helping and Leading Others’ and this generous group understands that reaching out is an everyday occurrence, not just at the holidays. Justin Timberlake, LeBron James, Alicia Keys and Hayden Panettiere suprised the four teens honored by their efforts and handed each a silver baton award. Cannon gave each a check for $10,000 to continue their efforts and a matching check to continue their education. The four winners were:

1. Leah Stoltz, 17 for Curvy Girls of Long Island – a support group for people with scoliosis.
2. Darrius Snow, 18 for working with kids in tough areas using sports as an outlet.
3. Megan Kilroy, 17 for her environmental and community activism.
4. Brryan Jackson, 18 for HIV/AIDS outreach and education.
