There’s nothing like live TV!  Especially when the cast of the show can’t be bother to show up on time for filming!

During last night’s episode of American Idol, judge Nicki Minaj showed up a full 13 minutes after the show began!  Before her tardy arrival, host Ryan Seacrest made light of the situation by joking about the judge’s absence, but behind closed doors, sources say Seacrest as fuming!

Ryan was the angriest and Nigel [Lythgoe] was mad too. Nicki knew better.

And that wasn’t all.  Fellow A.I. judge and sworn enemy of all things Minaj-related, Mariah Carey was more than a little heated over her co-worker’s lateness.

Mariah was just annoyed, she’s really over [Nicki]. They were all just embarrassed that it happened.

This?  This is what they’re embarrassed over?  Not the absolutely ridiculous antics between Mariah and Nicki all season?  Yeah, this is waaaaay worse…

So this should be interesting…

After months of hype, American Idol premiered on FOX last night with a brand spanking new judges table featuring Keith Urban, Mariah Carey, Nicki Minaj and of course, veteran Randy Jackson.

Also new to the set were the slew of nasty, backhanded, catty, cutthroat remarks that divas Mariah and Nicki were slinging at each other all evening…

During one scene, Mariah is caught complaining about Nicki being allowed to bring her dog to the set AND about her ginormous (and slightly hilarious) majorette hat.

We can have accessories? I didn’t know that was allowed…

Sorry Mariah, but after all your years in the Diva business that’s the best dig you could come up with?  Pretty sad.

Later in the episode, Nicki was caught by A.I. cameras calling the senior singer a “B*tch” under her breath, which prompted the “All I Want for Christmas” songstress to lash out saying,

Anything that starts with a ‘B’ and ends with an ‘itch’ – I rebuke it!

Hollywood starlet Miley Cyrus returned to the scene of the crime (aka Beacher’s Madhouse at the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel) with friends Wednesday night for a night of dancing with girlfriends.  If you recall, the 19-year-old and her fiance Liam Hemsworth were accused of starting a brawl at the nightclub a few weeks ago when some other club patrons bumped into their chairs.

Wonder what happened with that…

This time, Miley was sans her beau, who’s currently on location filming the second installment of The Hunger Games, but onlookers reported that flying solo didn’t stop her from having a good time!

And how could she possibly have had a bad time?  According to reports, when the Two and a Half Men star wasn’t shaking her tailfeather on the dance floor, she was watching a stage show that included a man in a bubble and a performance by a mini Nicki Minaj.

Earlier this week, when Justin Bieber Tweeted that his personal computer and camera were stolen during a show in Tacoma, WA, Believers all over the world held their breath to see what kinds of juicy images of The Bieb would be leaked all over the web.

But, as it turns out, this was all part of an elaborate hoax set into motion by Justin himself!

Someone from the Canadian-born singer’s camp made up the fake Twitter handle @gexwy and threatened to release “personal footage” of the pop star at noon today.  Bieber played his part perfectly, saying that his real fans would support him no matter what kind of footage was released.

But when the noon hour rolled around, the “footage” released was Bieber’s latest video featuring Nicki Minaj!  Bieber took to his Twitter to finally fill his fans in on the joke.

American Idol newcomer Nicki Minaj has flown off the handle yet again after her run-in with fellow AI judge Mariah Carey.  Since the video of their altercation went viral, sources have reported that Mariah is accusing Nicki of threatening to kill her!  Apparently, Mariah says that she overheard the “Boys” singer saying,

If I had a gun, I would shoot the b**ch.

Since Mariah’s accusations were made public during Nicki’s apearance on The View this morning, Minaj has taken to her Twitter to defend herself.

The struggle to be a victim is real in these streets. Lmaooooooooooo. The struggle to not have the kid on the show is real in these streets. Lmaooooooooo.

Ummmm… Okay…

The singer went on to Tweet:

All I do is compliment u. That’s not enuff? Ur a legend, cheer up. U don’t have to run down ur resume or feel intimidated. Shady McGrady…I thought we resolved it yesterday but I see u want ur pity party to continue. So I’m bout to po dot tea.

According to reports, rookie American Idol judges Nicki Minaj and Mariah Carey are already at each other’s throats and it’s only the audition phase!

Apparently, Nicki has already had enough of Ms. Carey’s diva-esque attitude and wants nothing to do with the “Triumphant” singer’s antics.

I told them, I’m not f***ing putting up with her f***ing highness over there.

Wooooow.  Who’s getting fired for letting this abomination slip through the cracks?

Nicki Minaj’s controversial performance at the 2012 Grammy Awards last night has caused quite a stir in the Hollywood community, as many are calling it one of the worst Grammy performances of all time.

The first lady of Hip Hop performed a rendition of Roman Holiday, which featured Ms. Minaj speaking tongues in an Oscar de la Renta gown, several dancing monks and a full-blown levitation scene.  Not something you see everyday…

Minaj spoke out about her take on Roman Holiday during an appearance on Ryan Seacrest’s radio show earlier today saying,

I had this vision for Roman for him to be sort of exorcised… People around him tell him he’s not good enough because he’s not normal and he’s not blending in with the Average Joe.The people around him are afraid because they’ve never seen anything like him. He wanted to show that not only is he amazing . . . but he’s never going to change. He’s never going to be exorcised… Even when they throw the holy water on him, he still rises above.

All religious preferences aside, this performance of Roman Holiday was just flat-out bad.  If you have to go that far to make your time on stage memorable, maybe you should’ve written a better song.

Grammy nominated artists Nicki Minaj and Katy Perry can now add immortality to their list of 2011 accomplishments – not bad for two gals with pink hair…

Minaj and Perry are slated to become the newest additions to the Mattel family.  Production on the plastic likenesses of these two successful songstresses has already begun and sources say that they will be as realistic as possible.

Right, just like how the original Barbie is a “realistic” version of the typical woman?  Aaaand I’m getting off my soapbox.

Apparently the NIcki Minaj doll will have, “every signature detail, right down to the tattoo on Nicki’s left arm.”  No word yet regarding whether or not the Katy Perry version will have all the Teenaged Dream star’s tats in place.

According to sources, Mattel is only going to make one of each doll and will auction each of them off on December 7th to benefit the Project Angel Food organization.

Showstopper Nicki Minaj waltzed down the red carpet at the American Music Awards last night in a Oscar de la Renta green silk gown with a black lace bodice.  The gown, while gorgeous in theory, looked frumpy on the voluptuous Minaj, who did her figure far more favors when she donned a “futuristic” getup for her performance with David Guetta.

Minaj went out on a limb by going with this middle-of-the-road de la Renta, but overall the look falls flat.

Police were called to hip hop artist Nicki Minaj’s home earlier today, when the rapper and her former maid got into a physical altercation.

Apparently, Minaj got her panties in a twist several weeks back when the maid in question asked her highness for an autograph while on duty (the audacity!).  Minaj was so upset that she terminated the woman on the spot; so imagine her surprise when Ms. Maid turned up at her doorstep today!

According to police reports, Nicki told the woman to get off her property, and when the maid refused by saying she wouldn’t stand being “treaded like an animal”, Nicki politely replied,

I’ll show you how to treat someone like an animal … get the f*ck out of my house!

Tensions between the two women ran so high that local authorities had to be called to the scene.

So here’s where things get weird… well, weird-er.

Sources revealed that the maid who turned up at Minaj’s house today, was not the same one who asked for an autograph.

Maybe you should try taking some of those fake lashes off Nicki.   You might able to see things a little more clearly!
