Nylon Magazine’s annual May Young Hollywood Issue Party was held at L.A. hotspot Bardot and Emma Roberts stepped out to celebrate.

The Scream 4 star co-hosted the shindig with her costar and Nylon cover partner Rory Culkin.

Roberts and the crowd were able to enjoy music from DJ Lindsay Luv and Blue Moon and UV Vodka specialty cocktails were available for guests.

The 20 year-old opted to wear a black dress with lacy top and full tulle skirt from Elie Saab. She paired it with strappy platforms from the designer and looked super cute.

After the party, Emma used twitter to extend thanks to everyone.

“Had so much fun hosting the #nylonmagazine party last night! Thanks to everyone who came!xo” she said.

“Scream 4” co-stars, Emma Roberts and Rory Culkin, the younger brother of Macaulay Culkin, share the cover of the upcoming Young Hollywood issue of Nylon Magazine (May 2011)- pictures below.

Both Emma and Rory confessed they are total goofballs and they clearly had lots of fun during the photo shoot. The 20 year-old actress talks about her Disney years and the desire to be on Glee, while the 21 year-old actor talked about boxing, music and his movie career.

Here are some highlights from Emma and Rory’s Nylon interview:

Emma, on her Disney years: “I loved that part of my life. A lot of people that were on Disney or Nickelodeon bash it afterwards. And I just think, That’s what got you your start! And also, from my experience, it was so fun. It was the calm before the storm… if you make the transition [as an actor] in the same way that you’re transitioning in real life, you’ll be fine. It’s when you’re 16 and you’re trying to play a 20-year-old hitchhiking stripper that people are gonna give you a hard time.”

Rory, on the choice between boxing and music: “Boxing is a little more mindless and takes me away from everything. Music can do that, too, but it’s another art form, you know what I mean? It’s something to be passionate about. Whereas boxing is like, I wanna kick some ass and get my ass kicked. It’s awesome.”

Rory, on his film roles up until now: “I’ve been sort of scared of certain roles in the past, almost to the point of being kind of snobbish… Now I’m just a lot more open to things – I’m starting to feel the need to exercise my acting and leave my comfort zone. I think Scream is an example of that.”

Emma, on Glee: “I love that Gwyneth Paltrow’s on Glee. That’s something you would never think she’d do. And the fact that she just thought, I’m gonna let loose and do this – that’s so cool!”

Actress Vanessa Hudgens and her “Sucker Punch” co-stars, Emily Browning, Jamie Chung and Abbie Cornish, were the hosts of the Nylon Magazine 12 anniversary issue party held at Tru Hollywood in Los Angeles, California.

The “Pucker Punch” stars, who cover the latest issue of Nylon Magazine, were joined by several hot, young Hollywood stars from shows like “Pretty Little Liars” (Tyler Blackburn) and “Hellcats” (Emmy Hemmens and Robbie Jones). Vanessa also invited her BFF Brittany Snow.

Vanessa Hudgens gets an injection of neon yellow to her all black biker-chic ensemble on the cover of Nylon magazine’s April 2011 issue.

The 22 year-old star of the upcoming Sucker Punch shares her first impressions of her costar Jena Malone from the flick.

“I remember walking in the very first day, and Jena is stretching her back from side to side, and I remember looking at her like, Damn! Look at the back on that chica!  She was so cut!  I was blown away by her back muscles.  I was like, ‘Okay, I’m a little bit intimidated, I must admit.”

Hudgens goes on to say she’s really pumped about the empowerment message she feels the movie sends to young women:

“My adrenaline was kicking, my energy, my spirits were so high that I literally felt like I had just walked out of a rock concert… When I saw it, I was literally like, Woo, yes!  I can do anything! Yay! Go women!  Like, I feel so empowered.”

Actress Leighton Meester, who is making the transition from TV star to big screen beauty, claims she is all grown up and sometimes “a little bit fat” as the hot cover girl of the upcoming February 2011 issue of Nylon Magazine (pictures below).

In the interview, the 24 year-old talks about her characters, Blair Waldorf on “Gossip Girl” and Chiles Stanton in “Country Strong”, and how important are family and friends in her life. “The Roommate” co-star Minka Kelly confessed Leighton worked so hard to play Rebecca that she even scared her while the two were filming.

Leighton Meester on Blair Waldorf: “Blair is…. I don’t know what she is… I have to enter a completely foreign body to sympathize with Blair and her decisions. You know, Blair grew up very savvy, well-educated, and lonely. I think her mother is not the most supportive person and… Blair is very competitive and conniving, and it obviously comes, usually, from a very human place, but she makes decisions that I would never make.”

Leighton Meester on her Country Strong character, Chiles Stanton: “She is so scared of people thinking of her as this ignorant, vapid, pretty face, and you know, I can totally understand where she’s coming from because, especially if you come from Dallas Texas, you’re a beauty queen – you don’t play the guitar, you’re writing seemingly meaningless pop songs. All that I can relate to, totally. It’s sad and sweet at the same time.””

Minka Kelly on Leighton Meester during the filming of The Roommate: “She worked with psychologists; she really studied the illness of the character, so much that at times on set i was a little concerned whether or not she was there because she scared me so much! The look in her eye was so surreal I was in awe at how much she committed to it.”

Leighton Meester on Her Family and Friends: “I like to be judged by my family and friends because they know me. If they think I’m being an asshole I’d like them to tell me, but if I’m fat or something I’m like, “Well, so? OK? Great!” It doesn’t even matter; it’s like, “What if I am fat? Does it matter?”… I’m a grown woman and sometimes, I might be a little fat, you know! Am I alone there? Not really!”

The casting for the latest movie in the Spider-Man reboot is coveted by young Hollywood for it’s high profile box-office potential. This version will see Peter Parker (Spidey’s alter-ego) in high school and while Josh Hutcherson and Logan Lerman were rumored to be front runners for the part, it has gone to Andrew Garfield, who stars in this week’s big big big movie The Social Network.

Next up – who is going to be Peter’s love Mary Jane Watson? Everybody’s favorite Emma Stone is going to get the offer, according to Deadline Hollywood.

Sony Pictures Entertainment will imminently offer the role of Mary Jane Watson to Emma Stone, who starred for the studio in Zombieland and Easy A. It’s another good role for Stone, who is currently shooting the Tate Taylor-directed adaptation of the Kathryn Stockett bestseller The Help for DreamWorks. She plays Skeeter, the college student who comes home determined to expose the class differences between the matriarchs and their house servants in the South in 1962.

Stone, and Garfield for that matter, are on fire with plum roles sought after by actors under 25. Glee’s Dianna Agron and The Kids Are All Right star Mia Wasikowska were also considered for Mary Jane but may still be in the running for the part of Gwen Stacy, Peter Parker’s high school sweetheart.

Emma Stone gives us a one-two punch on Nylon magazine’s “It Girl Issue” for October 2010. Stone is hot and on everyone’s radar at the moment for her breakout performances in Superbad, Zombieland and Easy A. Here is a peek at her upcoming interview:

On being featured on the “World’s Sexiest Women” lists:
“That’s just ridiculous…Now that you’ve hung out with me a few times you know how ridiculous that is.  All my friends and family are like, ‘That is the funniest thing I have ever seen.’ ”

How it feels to be a movie star:
“I haven’t really examined that too much on my own yet.  I think if I thought about that I’d have a full-blown panic attack and not be able to do my job at all. ”

On her parents letting her move to LA at a young age:
“I’ve become more appreciative as I get older that they said it was OK, and they didn’t let me become some crazy, emancipated nutter. That was not me saying emancipated people are insane.”

Why she likes being funny:
“I think my ultimate goal at the end of the day is to make my parents laugh. Maybe that is what this is all about: a roundabout way of trying of trying to entertain my parents, just like I did in the living room when I was a kid.”

Although Pretty Little Liars is on a break until January 2011, there is no shortage of people who want the cast to give up the mysterious “A’s” identity. The actresses of PLL are getting bombarded by everyone for the answer; friends, family and other celebs are grilling the girls:

“All my friends will call me to ask who ‘A’ is and I’m like, ‘No, you can watch it!’” bemoans Ashley Benson, who plays Hanna Marin, heir to the cool girl throne after her friend (and now, possibly “A”) Allison dies.

She’s not alone in having to keep people in the dark: “My family is like, ‘OK, Shay, whatever. I thought we were family!’” says Shay Mitchell, cast as the athletic, sweet-natured Emily Fields.

It’s gotten to the point where people have taken to Twitter to try to figure out just who is leaving this foursome of girls threatening messages. Says Lucy Hale, who plays the mature-beyond-her-years Aria Montgomery. “I have Eric Stonestreet from Modern Family tweeting– he’s like, “Just tell me, please!’”

Miley Cyrus’ boyfriend Liam Hemsworth is featured in the brand new Young Hollywood edition of Nylon Magazine. Liam talks about skateboarding and how he started doing when he’s brother did in an exclusive behind-the-scenes video of the Nylon photo shoot. Liam and Chris Hemsworth are really close and they apparently have a very healthy and competitive relationship.
