Nylon Magazine’s annual May Young Hollywood Issue Party was held at L.A. hotspot Bardot and Emma Roberts stepped out to celebrate.

The Scream 4 star co-hosted the shindig with her costar and Nylon cover partner Rory Culkin.

Roberts and the crowd were able to enjoy music from DJ Lindsay Luv and Blue Moon and UV Vodka specialty cocktails were available for guests.

The 20 year-old opted to wear a black dress with lacy top and full tulle skirt from Elie Saab. She paired it with strappy platforms from the designer and looked super cute.

After the party, Emma used twitter to extend thanks to everyone.

“Had so much fun hosting the #nylonmagazine party last night! Thanks to everyone who came!xo” she said.

Actress Leighton Meester, who is making the transition from TV star to big screen beauty, claims she is all grown up and sometimes “a little bit fat” as the hot cover girl of the upcoming February 2011 issue of Nylon Magazine (pictures below).

In the interview, the 24 year-old talks about her characters, Blair Waldorf on “Gossip Girl” and Chiles Stanton in “Country Strong”, and how important are family and friends in her life. “The Roommate” co-star Minka Kelly confessed Leighton worked so hard to play Rebecca that she even scared her while the two were filming.

Leighton Meester on Blair Waldorf: “Blair is…. I don’t know what she is… I have to enter a completely foreign body to sympathize with Blair and her decisions. You know, Blair grew up very savvy, well-educated, and lonely. I think her mother is not the most supportive person and… Blair is very competitive and conniving, and it obviously comes, usually, from a very human place, but she makes decisions that I would never make.”

Leighton Meester on her Country Strong character, Chiles Stanton: “She is so scared of people thinking of her as this ignorant, vapid, pretty face, and you know, I can totally understand where she’s coming from because, especially if you come from Dallas Texas, you’re a beauty queen – you don’t play the guitar, you’re writing seemingly meaningless pop songs. All that I can relate to, totally. It’s sad and sweet at the same time.””

Minka Kelly on Leighton Meester during the filming of The Roommate: “She worked with psychologists; she really studied the illness of the character, so much that at times on set i was a little concerned whether or not she was there because she scared me so much! The look in her eye was so surreal I was in awe at how much she committed to it.”

Leighton Meester on Her Family and Friends: “I like to be judged by my family and friends because they know me. If they think I’m being an asshole I’d like them to tell me, but if I’m fat or something I’m like, “Well, so? OK? Great!” It doesn’t even matter; it’s like, “What if I am fat? Does it matter?”… I’m a grown woman and sometimes, I might be a little fat, you know! Am I alone there? Not really!”

Although Pretty Little Liars is on a break until January 2011, there is no shortage of people who want the cast to give up the mysterious “A’s” identity. The actresses of PLL are getting bombarded by everyone for the answer; friends, family and other celebs are grilling the girls:

“All my friends will call me to ask who ‘A’ is and I’m like, ‘No, you can watch it!’” bemoans Ashley Benson, who plays Hanna Marin, heir to the cool girl throne after her friend (and now, possibly “A”) Allison dies.

She’s not alone in having to keep people in the dark: “My family is like, ‘OK, Shay, whatever. I thought we were family!’” says Shay Mitchell, cast as the athletic, sweet-natured Emily Fields.

It’s gotten to the point where people have taken to Twitter to try to figure out just who is leaving this foursome of girls threatening messages. Says Lucy Hale, who plays the mature-beyond-her-years Aria Montgomery. “I have Eric Stonestreet from Modern Family tweeting– he’s like, “Just tell me, please!’”

Jessica Szohr graces the cover of the upcoming September TV Issue of Nylon magazine.

The Gossip Girl actress is back at work on season 4 of the popular CW show with her character Vanessa, returning from Haiti to sort out her Dan (played by Penn Badgley) dilemma.

Szohr is currently promoting her movie Piranha 3D, which she costars with Steven R McQueen.

I must admit, I’m not a fan of this cover. Jessica is almost snarling and pants-less. Let’s hope there are great pics from her photo shoot and a behind the scenes video next week!

West Hollywood was the place for Jennifer Stone as she hit the red carpet for the Nylon + Express Denim Issue party on Tuesday evening. The actress, who just wrapped filming Mean Girls 2 in Atlanta last month and is prepping for the last season of Wizards of Waverly Place was super cute in dark denim and bowler hat.

Miley Cyrus’ boyfriend Liam Hemsworth is featured in the brand new Young Hollywood edition of Nylon Magazine. Liam talks about skateboarding and how he started doing when he’s brother did in an exclusive behind-the-scenes video of the Nylon photo shoot. Liam and Chris Hemsworth are really close and they apparently have a very healthy and competitive relationship.

Ashley Greene is part of Nylon’s Young Hollywood 2010 issue and here is a  peek at her photo shoot.

Greene is finishing filming The Apparation with Tom Felton and Sebastian Stan and is then off to start work on the political satire movie Butter soon. She is also on tap to reprise her role as Alice Cullen in the final Twilight Saga film, Breaking Dawn, which just got a director attached (Bill Condon) as should start filming in the fall.

“There’s always gonna be some off people, and in Hollywood, they’re just usually better dressed.”

What do Rupert Grint, Chloe Moretz, Sterling Knight, Liam Hemsworth, Nicola Peltz, Alex Meraz, Brooklyn Decker, Stella Maeve, and Michael B. Jordan have in common? They are among the upcoming stars to get the Nylon nod for the mag’s annual ‘Young Hollywood 2010′ edition. The issue is due out this week and will feature Ashley Greene, Portia Doubleday and Vanessa Hudgens on the cover (see the Korean cover version here.)
