The boys of One Direction stopped by the set of The Ellen DeGeneres Show today to chat with the talk show host about their new album and about what they look for in an ideal girlfriend.

The single fellas in the group, Harry Styles, Liam Payne and Niall Horan, were quick to share with Ellen’s audience the easiest ways to win their hearts.  According to Niall:

I like someone that’s cute, someone I can have a laugh with, and I also like people that are American.

Are we blushing yet?  You certainly know the way to our hearts Niall!

Meanwhile, Harry (who always likes to flirt with the older ladies) said, “I like someone thats fun, someone like you.”

Although the boys of One Direction didn’t intend to release their new single “Live While We’re Young” for several more days, the internet gods have done us all a huge favor and leaked the video for the tune, forcing the band to bump up their release date.

We know Harry Styles, Liam Payne, Louis Tomlinson, Zayn Malik and Niall Horan are probably pretty bummed that things didn’t go exactly as they were planning, but we’re not going to pretend like we’re not super stoked to check out this new song a few days earlier!

In an official statement, the boys of 1D explained that they moved the song’s release date up to September 20th because the version of their video that was leaked was a poor, pirated copy and they didn’t want their fans to get anything less than the very best of what One Direction has to offer.

We wanted our fans to see the video and hear the single in the proper way so we’ve moved the premiere to tonight. We’re really excited about “Live While We’re Young” we’ve worked really hard on it and we can’t wait for everyone to see and hear it later today!

Neither can we!

There’s never a dull moment around the boys of One Direction!

1D band members Zayn Malik and Louis Tomlinson set out to play a prank on their buddies Harry Styles, Liam Payne and Niall Horan during filming for some Nickelodeon promos, by pretending a very pregnant producer was going into labor – on set!

Nothing like a pregnant woman in trouble to make a bunch of teenaged boys get weak in the knees!

During a recent interview with Florida radio station 93.3, One Direction band members Niall Horan, Louis Tomlinson, Harry Styles, and Zayn Malik opened up about dating fans, how they’ve spent their down time on tour and about some pretty weird and wild celebrity body-part fantasies.

Guess we know why Liam opted to skip out on this one!

To start the interview, the radio host asked the guys if they would ever be open to dating a fan and, wouldn’t you know it, even after sharing a story about a crazed fan hiding in their dressing room trash can, the answer was a resounding “YES!”.  We guess there’s hope for all of crazy 1D fans yet!

Things got a little weird when the guys were asked, “If you were a chair, which celebrity would you want to sit on you?”

Ha!

Harry said that Jennifer Love Hewitt would be his choice rear end, while Niall, who apparently prefers a more “aged” rump said he would pick Jennifer Lopez.  Louis claimed Natalie Portman as his bum of choice and Zayn went for the classic pick, Halle Berry.
