Emma Watson says she feels for Kate Middleton with the intense scrutiny she’s under as she prepares for her wedding to Prince William and becomes a member of the United Kingdom’s Royal Family on April 29th.

“Poor girl. That must be an incredible amount of pressure. I hope she’s enjoying it. Must be intense,” she told the Associated Press.

The Harry Potter actress also spoke of the expectations she put on herself and why she chose to leave Brown University, at least temporarily.

“I just knew I was going to be beating myself up because I wasn’t going to be able to be doing the best that I knew that I could at school or in my job. If I’d been getting B’s or C’s I would’ve been really upset,” Emma said.

Watson just got a new costar for the movie The Perks of Being A Wallflower. The Vampire Diaries actress Nina Dobrev is joining her and Logan Lerman for the film that should begin shooting in the Pittsburg, PA area early this summer.

And Happy Birthday Emma! She turned 21 today.

Emma Roberts had an appointment with her agent this afternoon and decided a little retail therapy was in order on the way there. The Scream 4 actress stopped into the Burberry shop in Beverly Hills, CA wearing a very cute orange dress with black and white pansy print.

Twilight star Kristen Stewart found herself in hot water this week for her comment to British Elle regarding how she feels with photographers documenting her every move. In her original quote to the mag, the actress said:

“All you see is an actor or a celebrity lit up by a flash,” she said in an interview with British Elle. “It’s so…the photos are so…I feel like I’m looking at someone being raped. A lot of the time I can’t handle it…It’s f—ed. I never expected that this would be my life.”

Stewart realized the analogy was over the top has offered up an apology for her ill-thought out wording.

“I really made an enormous mistake – clearly and obviously and I’m really sorry about my choice of words.  I’ve made stupid remarks before, and I’ve always reasoned: ‘Whatever. They can think what they want,’ ” she says.  But in this instance, the Los Angeles-born actress feels compelled to address the situation. ” ‘Violated’ definitely would have been a better way of expressing the thought,” she notes.

In the 2004 film Speak, Stewart, who portrayed a rape victim, acknowledges that what she said has serious repercussions and that sexual assault should not be spoken of lightly.

“People thinking that I’m insensitive about this subject rips my guts out. I made a big mistake,” says Stewart.

I’m glad she stepped up to the plate and admitted that she used a terrible analogy for her personal feelings. Her hatred of the paparazzi is duly noted and she needs to learn to deal with it (it’s not going to go away no matter how hard she wishes it would.)

I like Stewart and hope she continues to speak her mind. Even though this was not the smartest thing she could have said, I do want her to continue to talk openly and share her opinions and point of view. So many other actresses have the exact same answer for every reporter – you can tell it has been rehearsed repeatedly. Kristen gives you an uncensored version and a true sense of her self in each interview. Very rare these days.

Kristen Stewart has an intense dislike of how Twitter is used. In her interview with Flaunt magazine, the actress says how lousy it is for her to have her life turned upside down when someone tweets her whereabouts:

“If I could go to work every day and not have to be followed around by f**king fifteen gangsters trying to take my picture, willing to do anything for one… It’s not normal. It’s funny how in America fame is placed so f**king high—above wealth, above happiness, above everything. It’s so not true. And I knew that before [I was famous]. It was so obvious to me. I don’t know how people can’t see that from an outsider’s perspective. My perspective is the same: it’s exactly what I thought it would be.”

Speaking about a fan, Stewart offered this: “He was nice. He didn’t ask for a picture. That’s good, because then they go and Twitter them and then the paparazzi know where I am and they drive to my location and it gets crazy. Twitter f**ks me over every day of my life. Because people go, ‘I’m sitting next to Kristen Stewart right now’ and then they show up. I see people on their phones and I just want to take these cookies and throw them. It’s like ‘Get off your f**king phone and get a life!’ I get so mad. It’s like you’re trampling on someone’s life without any regard. And it’s rampant. Everyone can do it now. Buy a camera and you’re paparazzi; get a Twitter account and you’re an informant. It’s so annoying.”

Stewart has a point. She really has to be secretive and paranoid to be able to go to the drugstore let alone have a quiet evening with a friend (ahem, Robert Pattinson.)

It’s not the slightly shell-shocked image of Pattinson: That amuses me. It’s the tag line: “Inside the life of Robert Pattinson.” According to a rep for the release, the documentary features people Pattinson’s worked with talking about his life, as well as “industry commentators” and “a couple of diehard fans.”

What hasn’t he told us or we haven’t heard about him already? Other than not confirming his off screen relationship with Kristen Stewart publicly (which he’s entitled to NOT do) what else do fans want from the guy? Is anyone interested in this? Tell us what you think!

Landing the role of Emmett Cullen in The Twilight Saga movies has been a whirlwind experience for Kellan Lutz. The model-turned-actor has found himself in media frenzy for any Twilight morsel the public can get, from waiting paparzzi to fans who’ve booked rooms at the hotels the young actors stay in. Lutz recently spoke to BlackBook Magazine about how he doesn’t envy costar Robert Pattinson’s level of fame:

But what happens when the fans get to a Robert Pattinson-level where it’s just insane?
Well, it’s crazy because with all this attention, all of us are handling it extremely well. We still have our head on our shoulders and our feet on the ground. Rob’s handling it so well. I can’t fathom being in his shoes. I believe I could handle it, but being cooped up in Vancouver and not being able to leave the hotel room or the apartment without having a driver and having to hide out—especially when he was shooting Remember Me, I talked to him a lot in New York and those fans were just crazy. I can’t imagine trying to act when you have all these people yelling your name and you’re doing an emotional scene.

Even with all that intense scrutiny, Kellan says he loves attending conventions and feels it’s a great way to express his gratitude for the support from fans.

New Moon stunt scenes, being a part of the remake of A Nightmare On Elm Street, going to the beach is not his thing – lots of good stuff! Read more of Kellan’s great interview here.

Spending a bit of money on a sunny afternoon at Zachary’s Smile, Frances Bean Cobain was photographed with porcelain skin and bright red lips and haircolor. The offspring of grunge musicians Kurt Cobain and Courtney Love managed to leave the NYC vintage shop with a few purchases and lots of paparazzi pics. Call me crazy – something about these look very staged.
