New Moon actor Peter Facinelli was on hand for Z100’s Jingle Ball 2009 at Madison Square Garden in New York City on Friday December 11th. The event was sponsored by H&M and the Food Bank for NYC benefited from the ticket sales and donations. My favorite vampire coven leader, Dr. Cullen, looked great all bundled up for the cold.

Actor Peter Facinelli, who plays Dr. Carlisle Cullen in the Twilight Saga, revealed he is a big fan of vampire stories, confessed his life changed after Twilight and promoted his new vampire transformer iPhone app in an exclusive interview for PopEater.

The Twilight Saga: New Moon world premiere took place at Mann Village and Bruin Theater in Los Angeles, California, on Monday (November 16). The fans wouldn’t stop screaming, everyone looked amazing and it’s just a few more days until ‘New Moon’ hits theaters November 20th.

Insiders and cast members reveal some of the biggest secrets of the “Eclipse” set like what the Twilight stars prefer to eat, Kellan Lutz’s secret visitor, fans and how super cool daddy Peter Facinelli makes his kids proud.

On their favorite eatery: “The cast has gone there four times over the past two or three weeks. But the majority of the time they’re staying in and ordering takeout. They’ve had pizza and Chinese delivered on numerous occasions,” an insider dished.

On Kellan Lutz’s mid-summer visitor: AnnaLynne McCord, paid him a two-day visit back in August. “AnnaLynne really missed him. She just loves his whole bad-boy persona,” the insider shared.

On the mobs of fans waiting to see their favorite stars: “It’s like Beatlemania,” cameo star Jack Huston said. “These kids have 100 people waiting outside their hotels. It’s crazy.”

On new cast members fitting in: Kellan shared, “The new guys are so cool. “I’ve never worked on a project where everyone is so harmonious and down-to-earth.”

On Peter Facinelli scaring his own kids when in character: “They think it’s creepy,” Peter’s wife, Jennie Garth says. “It just isn’t Daddy. But they all have T-shirts with Dr. Carlisle’s face on them. They wear them all the time — they’re very proud.”

Twilight star Robert Pattinson tweeted for the first and last time via his vampire dad ‘Carlisle Cullen’ Peter Facinelli’s twitter account to celebrate his 1million+ followers. Mark this day in history!

Rob tweeted, “Thanks a million. Here’s Rob… Hi, it’s Rob… My first and last tweet. My dad made me do it.” To which Peter added, “At least you know he doesn’t have a Twiiter account. Lol. Down with the posers.”

We were expecting something more exciting than “Hi, it’s Rob…”… something like “Hi, it’s Rob! Me and Kristen are dating, stop the dang rumors!” We can only dream, right!?!

‘Twilight’ stars Peter Facinelli and Jackson Rathbone were in Dallas over the weekend at the superfan convention known as ‘TwiCon.’ MTV got both ‘New Moon’ actors to respond to the controversy surrounding the Rachelle Lefevre replacement as vampire Victoria in the supernatural movies. Clearly the two actors want to keep their jobs (Hello Summit!) and try to say as little as possible that might get the execs upset again. Bryce Dallas Howard may be the new baddie for ‘Eclipse’ but obviously the actors will miss Lefevre.

Is ‘New Moon’ getting seriously steamy or what? First Taylor Lautner got crazy hot muscles for his part as Jacob, Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart togetherness rumors are rampant and now there is a nude scene! Deviating totally from the book, Jamie Campbell Bower says that a scene has been added with himself, Michael Sheen and Christopher Heyerdahl (Caius, Marcus and Aro Volturi) sitting in a bathhouse, nude.

Peter Facinelli’s character, Carlisle Cullen, used to hang out with the Volturi back in the day, so the scene shows Carlisle meeting up with Aro, Caius and Marcus, only to find them relaxing in a bathhouse.

“It’s a full-body shot, and then Peter comes in, and it all gets a bit awkward,” Jamie explains. “[Carlisle] is clothed completely. They’re bathing in sort of a Roman bath kind of thing.”

Well that will certainly get everyone’s attention!

Wired.com has an interview with ‘The Twilight Saga: New Moon’ actor Peter Facinelli (who plays Dr. Carlisle Cullen) from San Diego’s Comic Con. His onscreen adopted kids, Nikki Reed and Kellan Lutz (Rosalie and Emmett) pop in part way thru and all chat about the upcoming ‘New Moon’ and soon-to-start filming ‘Eclipse’.

Dr. Carlisle Cullen is a man of his word; both the character in the ‘Twilight’  series and the actor who portrays him: Peter Facinelli. Facinelli recently made a bet with his friend Rob DeFranco that he could get 500,000 Twitter fans following him. In winning the bet, the actor was able to get DeFranco into a very embarassing situation on Melrose Avenue in Los Angeles.

Rob DeFranco paid off his end of the bet too when he was forced to dance down Hollywood Blvd. Tuesday morning wearing a bikini and singing “Single Ladies,” a fate chosen by his “sick and twisted Twitter followers,” Facinelli said, adding, “who I love dearly.”

The ‘New Moon’ actor also spent the afternoon signing autographs at the store Affliction in LA and in turn, the clothing store donated $100,000 to The Christopher Reeves Foundation on behalf of all the Twitter Facinelli followers. Nice thing for Facinelli, DeFranco and Affliction to do.

We can’t wait till November 20th to finally see the second movie of The Twilight Saga: “New Moon” in the theaters. The cast promised this is going to be even more exciting than the first movie…

I don’t know how that’s possible since there is so little Edward in the book, on the other hand Taylor Lautner is just super hot and fabulous as teenage werewolf Jacob Black. Check out the amazing “New Moon” trailer here.

Robert Pattinson: “From what I’ve seen from playback and stuff when I’ve been shooting it, it looks amazing. So I think ['New Moon'] should be [good]. I’m keeping it as a surprise from myself.”

Michael Welch: “Well first of all it’s going to look different. It’s going to feel different and frankly I think it’s going to be better. With Twilight we didn’t really know, I mean you could never really know, with New Moon we knew so we all came in with a level of focus and commitment to just pleasing the fans …cause if you can keep the fans happy you’re going to be good.”

Christian Serratos: ”I think everyone’s going to be very pleased, the film and the books and everything they just evolved it keeps getting better and better. I read the New Moon script already having read the book and I was still like ‘what’s going to happen next’. It’s the same as the book but imagine the book on acid.”

Ashley Green: “It’s a little bit more darker. It’s just better all around we kind of had this Twilight platform and just stepped up from it so it’s great.”

Peter Facinelli: “[You can expect] “more of the unexpected.”

Too bad Dr. Carlisle is sworn to vampire secrecy about the newest additions!

This is just a brief q & a with Peter Facinelli from Access Hollywood and while he doesn’t give anything up, he is really hot and his wife, Jennie Garth of ‘90210‘ is so cute standing next to him.

Working on the hit movie ‘Twilight’ brings out some intense fans. The actor who plays Dr. Carlisle Cullen, Peter Facinelli, has a real life daughter who is uncomfortable by all the attention her dad is getting from her friends.

“It’s so funny because my daughter has friends that have seen the movie and they think that Dr. Carlisle is hot,” Jennie [Garth, wife of Facinelli,] 35, says. “She gets all weirded out, and like, ‘Eww, that’s my dad!’”

Facinelli’s oldest daughter Luca Bella, 11, will have at least one more movie to adjust to as ‘New Moon’ begins filming soon.
