Miley Cyrus presented at the Academy Awards on Sunday evening (see photos here) and while chatting with Ryan Seacrest, The Last Song actress did confirm she and her costar Liam Hemsworth are together.

The cast, writers and producers of CW’s breakout hit show, The Vampire Diaries appeared Saturday night at the Paley Festival in Los Angeles. The annual event gives both press and fans a chance to interact with the stars and the creative forces behind their favorite shows. TVD stars Ian Somerhalder, Paul Wesley and Nina Dobrev were joined by writers and producers Kevin Williamson, Julie Plec and Bob Levy. Here’s what we’ve learned:

• The audience got to view the March 25th episode ‘A Few Good Men’ and (I won’t spoil it for you) but you will find out who Elena’s biological mom is.
• Williamson (who brought us TV’s Dawson’s Creek and the Scream movies) said he was initially worried when he began reading the books - that they were too Twilight-ish. At Plec’s urging, he kept reading and realized how different they were and hopped on board.
• Williamson loves loves loves cliffhangers and the season ending will have between 7 to 9 loose ends to keep viewers guessing!
• The fog has gone away (THANK YOU!) and no more actors changing to animals.

Gossip Girl star Jessica Szohr lands the Lucky April 2010 cover in a bright tangerine Ralph Lauren Black Label dress. Here are a few highlights from her interview:

On Old Hollywood glamour: “The 1950 film All About Eve shows classic Old Hollywood, when women put so much detail into getting ready.”

On her personal fashion evolution: “I’m learning more and more about clothes and designers from being a part of Gossip Girl and living in New York,” the 25-year-old said. “In fittings now, I’m like, ‘I love that Diane von Furstenberg skirt or this Rag & Bone jacket,’ whereas before, I wouldn’t have recognized the labels.”

On her shopping haunts: “At Confederacy in L.A., it’s hard to know where to begin: It has great coffee-table books, an incredible shoe collection, and a men’s section that I shop in for myself.”

Twilight hunk Kellan Lutz hit Cosmo Magazine’s radar as a Fun Fearless Male for their February issue and the actor stopped by to party with the other guys Monday night in NYC. While Breaking Dawn is rumored to start filming this fall (and will be split into two films - just like the Harry Potter series finale) the Emmett Cullen actor isn’t resting on his vampire laurels. The actor is costarring with another Twi alum, Ashley Greene in Warrior and the latest Nightmare on Elm Street reboot. Oh yeah, and there are those hot hot hot seriously sexy Calvin Klein underwear ads…

The Vampire Diaries star Paul Wesley got the ‘Fun, Fearless Male’ nod from Cosmopolitan Magazine for their February issue and the actor dropped by the party Monday night to celebrate. Held at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in New York City, the actor posed for the photographers solo and with Kellan Lutz, the other vampire actor on the scene.

Gossip Girl star Ed Westwick was named a Fun Fearless Male by Cosmopolitan Magazine for the February 2010 issue. Westwick, who will play Heathcliff in the big screen movie version of Wuthering Heights, attended Cosmo’s dude bash on Monday March 1st in New York City at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel to celebrate with other fun, fearless guys. Robert Pattinson posed happily for the photographers at the premiere of his latest movie Remember Me. The event took place at the Paris Theater in New York on Monday March 1st. His Twilight costar, Kristen Stewart, was also in attendance (get her pics here) and no, the duo did not pose together. Kristen Stewart showed her support for Robert Pattinson and his latest film Remember Me. The premiere event took place Monday March 1st at the Paris Theater in New York City. While the Twilight costars were not photographed together on the red carpet, the duo are in town together and have been seen out with friends all around the city.

Ashley Tisdale and her boyfriend Scott Speer took time to enjoy the sunshine in California this weekend. The duo were spotted picking up food at Tra di Noi Express and Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf at Cross Creek in Malibu on Sunday February 28th.

Ashley will be singing in the remake of the 80’s movie Teen Witch, which begins shooting the end of the year.
