“Get Weak” is a song Pixie Lott wrote in response to the pressures of being bullied and the talented singer has donated it to BeatBullying.org. Lott has been named the Ambassador of the organization and the 19 year-old is stepping up to get the word out about the online protest The Big March.

Pixie Lott today donates her anti-bullying anthem ‘Get Weak,’ penned about the pressures of bullying, to raise awareness of Beatbullying’s The Big March. In her new role as ambassador for the charity, Pixie has created a virtual representation of herself – an avatar complete with her trade mark platinum blonde hair and big hazel eyes – which will join 400,000 other supporters on the pioneering protest march. Pixie’s avatar also stars in a poignant music video to accompany the track.

It’s great that she is lending her voice and song to stop the painful and very hurtful bullying that causes so much anguish.

Pixie also announced on her twitter that she is filming the video for her next single “Can’t Make This Over.”

With a flirty fifties vibe, Selena Gomez has landed on the cover of Ireland’s Kiss magazine for November 2010. The Wizards of Waverly Place actress is Disney-fied with her Donald Duck t-shirt. I like this cover – she looks really retro cute.

Selena has spent time overseas recently promoting her latest album A Year Without Rain and spoke to SBTV about how much she loves Pixie Lott, Cheryl Cole and X-Factor, her fashion line for KMart, how her two albums are different and working with Lil’ Wayne’s producer. Pixie Lott held a signing at HMV Baywater at the Whiteley Shopping Centre in London to support her latest single “Broken Arrow.” The 19 year-old singer was lovely in her white cotton dress with black lace edging and trim (and of course, her signature ‘Pixie’ gold necklace.)

It was announced yesterday (Monday October 11th) that Lott’s fashion range for Lipsy will be available at Bank Fashion on October 22nd and US customers will be able to purchase through the website. From the press release:

Pixie Lott was cute as ever in her leopard print coat and carrying her teddy bear around after performing at Real Radio’s 10th birthday celebration. The event was held on Thursday in Cardiff, Wales at the Coal Exchange.

Pixie Lott poses in one of her new designs for the Autumn/Winter line featured on Lipsy. The “Boys and Girls” singer told the online magazine her inspirations for the collection include style icons Edie Sedgwick, Bridgette Bardot, Alexa Chung and Sienna Miller.

Lucas Cruikshank is an ordinary teen from Nebraska. His parents have the money, he drives hand-me-down vehicles and he has to mow the lawn. He wants to be an actor and took the character he created Fred Figglehorn to youtube and became an internet sensation. He had a guest spot on iCarly and on Hannah Montana and his acting dreams are starting to take off. Nickelodeon loved the character so much, they produced Fred The Movie. Lucas may even get his own show for for the cable kids network.

Where did the idea of Fred come from? Cruikshank said his younger brothers gave him the initial spark for his character:

He’s Inspired by His Family
Cruikshank, who is the fourth of eight kids, says his main influences for the Fred Figglehorn character are his little brothers. “They were crazy little kids, and I exaggerated what they did and made Fred like them,” he tells PEOPLE. “I get a lot of ideas living in a huge family.”

If you missed Fred The Movie (with John Cena, Pixie Lott and Jennette McCurdy) on Nickelodeon last night, it airs again, Sunday night September 19th at 8pm EST.

Help For Heroes annual fund raising concert took place at Twickenham Stadium on September 12th with Pixie Lott giving it a go for the injured soldiers. The “Boys and Girls” singer was in good company as Enrique Iglesias, The Saturdays and James Blunt all performed for the injured armed forces personnel organization.

The V Festival at Hylands Park in Chelmsford, England saw Pixie Lott draw the crowds in with her performance Saturday afternoon. The Turn It Up singer wore a very cute sixties inspired mini dress, thigh highs, garters and combat boots.

Lott will be in Nickelodeon’s upcoming Fred: The Movie based on the character Lucas Cruikshank created for his youtube channel. Pixie will play Judy, Fred’s next door neighbor and object of his crush. Fred premieres Friday September 17th at 8pm on Nick.

Pixie Lott returns to the cover of Sugar magazine for the September 2010 issue. The “Turn It Up” singer had a few things to talk to  Sugar about:

• We told Pixie about the One Night Only boys saying they fancied her and she went bright red and shouted, “Are you being serious? I can’t believe that.”  Then she demanded our dictaphone so she could listen for herself.
• She seemed quite scared of Gaga fashion when we suggested it might be a new direction for her.  “I don’t know if I could wear that Gaga stuff. Did you see those shoes she wore with no back to then? It’s crazy!”
• She admitted the only star who’d made her starstruck was Mariah Carey. “It was literally like, ‘Hi, I’m Pixie, I’m a really big fan!’ and she goes, ‘Oh really?  Wow!’.  It was amazing.”
• When her and Rihanna were touring together, they both went over to perform at Radio 1′s Big Weekend.  Pixie took the ferry while Rihanna took a helicopter.

Pixie is slated to star in the big screen Sweet Baby Jesus, along with Sam Rockwell, Kim Catrell, Sharon Stone and Robbie Coltrane. In the movie Pixie’s character Mary travels back to Bethlehem, Maryland and the rumor mill works overtime that she might just be the mother of  the second coming of Jesus.

British pop star Pixie Lott looked absolutely super cute in her ballerina short strapless bridesmaid dress at the wedding of her cousin in London last week. The tutu and the booty flower are the cutest, yet a bit embarrassing… I wouldn’t want to wear that ever…
