Selena Gomez and Taylor Swift are really very close friends. According to Selena, the two talk “everyday” and hang out as often as they can. Gomez said in an interview there is no pretense between the BFF’s and they don’t sit around complaining they can’t get out and do normal things:

“That’s probably why she’s one of best friend cause we don’t have that… ‘Oh my gosh, it’s so hard to be us. We can’t go anywhere.’ Like, we don’t do that. We go to the mall, we go to the movies, we go to iHop.”

Gomez also says that she and Taylor are “crazy gift givers” and Swift fills boxes with lots of smaller trinkets for her friends.

Selena Gomez and the Scene are confirmed for the annual radio station holiday concert, Z100 Jingle Ball at Madison Square Garden in New York City. The event will take place on December 10th with Selena’s Rock God collaborator, Katy Perry and Paramore also making an appearance.

More performers will be announced each week – is that a Justin Bieber silhouette in the far right of the photo? That would be one great addition if it turns out to be JBiebs…

Selena Gomez spent some time with a New Zealand radio station talking about her music, her friends (or frenemies – depending how you look at it) Demi Lovato, Taylor Lautner, Nick Jonas and Miley Cyrus. She is a pro at not really answering any questions directly.

While younger brother Nick is touring with his new band The Administration and older brother Kevin is basking in newlywed glory, Joe Jonas is hitting the airwaves debunking rumors, (he says he’s not dating Hilary Duff) wishing Taylor Swift the best (“she deserves a Grammy”) and letting everyone know the Jonas Brothers are not breaking up. Currently on tour in England with Taylor Swift, Justin Bieber has broken his foot after he tripped at Wembley Arena, November 23rd. The Canadian pop star went on to say that he will open for Taylor in Manchester today despite the fractured foot.

The singer took to his twitter page to let fans know he was ok:

“In the last song ONE TIME I tripped over something on stage coming down the ramp and felt my ankle roll in a very bad way,” he tweeted.

“Turn out I fractured my foot and had to finish the song on a broken foot. After I was done I was in such pain I skipped the encore and got off stage and back to see the medics,” Justin continued writing. “@taylorswift13 came backstage to see me b4 I went to the hospital because she is awesome!”

Bieber was recently in Long Island New York at Roosevelt Mall and was forced to cancel his appearance when things got out of hand with overzealous fans.

Justin has had a lot of chaos around him lately. Hopefully he gets some time soon to heal his foot.
