Glee super star Lea Michele made quite an impression on the red carpet in a stunning, gorgeous backless red gown by Marchesa of the 2011 Emmy Awards held at the Nokia Theatre LA Live in Los Angeles, California on Sunday (September 18) – more pictures below.

Lea tweeted, “On my way the the #Emmys!!! Beyond excited!!!! Wearing tonight a gorgeous red dress by Marchesa and jewels by Lorraine Schwartz.” Later, she added, “What a beautiful night…So happy for everyone who won tonight:) And now I turn into pumpkin and must go to sleep.. Love you all! Xo”

The 25 year-old actress was one of the best dressed at the Emmys. Lea brought sexy back and owned the red carpet with her charming presence. Apologies to the other beautiful Glee girls, but Lea had the best red carpet fashion pick in Glee history. It was epic!

Heather Morris, who plays cheerleader Brittany Pierce of FOX’s Glee, looked incredible in purple ruffled gown on the red carpet of the 2011 Emmy Awards held at the Nokia Theatre LA Live in Los Angeles, California on Sunday (September 18) – more pictures below.

The 24 year-old actress’ hair looked absolutely flawless in an elaborate updo, and the smoky makeup was also perfect. I’m not sure about the dress though. Only a hot and young spitfire like Heather could actually pull it off.

The beautiful Dianna Agron, who’s rocking a shorter new haircut, dared to wear a radiant blue gown by Roksanda Ilincic on the red carpet of the 2011 Emmy Awards held at the Nokia Theatre LA Live in Los Angeles, California on Sunday (September 18) – more pictures below.

Before the show, Dianna tweeted, “Nervous jitters like I’m going back to Prom. Don’t know why. Feeling like a little girl in big kids clothes. #funtimes.”

Later, she thanked everybody for her Emmys look: “You know it takes an army! Big thank you to Roksanda Ilincic, Fred Leighton & Roger Vivier for such beautiful pieces to wear yesterday.”

Glee stars Jenna Ushkowitz and Amber Riley opted for two very different styles on the red carpet of the 2011 Emmy Awards held at the Nokia Theatre LA Live in Los Angeles, California on Sunday (September 18) – more pictures below.

Amber got all dolled up and glamorous in a lavender gown, while Jenna went for a little edgier look with a tight updo, dramatic makeup and an asymmetric strapless black gown by Ghadah Paris.

Jenna tweeted, “It’s Emmy day! Woo! Got My fashions on, ready to have a great time!!! Bring it on Emmys!!!!”

Amber tweeted, “Almost to the Red Carpet and I’m sittin pretty in pink cant wait to get this show on the road. I wish you could wear jeans and graphic Tee and chucks to the Emmys! Selena Gomez rocked the black carpet of the 2011 MTV VMAs on Sunday night in a black lacy Julien MacDonald dress with short skirt and long overlay in the back.

The 19 year-old hosted the pre-show and interviewed lots of celebs, including her boyfriend, Justin Bieber and his pet snake (see that video here.) Gomez also hosted the MuchMusic Awards in June this year, adding to her red carpet resume.

Even though Gomez is touring currently, she’s always seems to have another project going – this time she’s working on a new fragrance.

Justin Bieber is really going for the Ashton Kutcher/prankster vibe and had some fun with girlfriend Selena Gomez on the black carpet of the 2011 MTV VMAs pre-show that she was hosting.

Bieber brought along a friend to the VMAs – a small little snake he had wrapped around his hand as he stepped up to Selena’s mic for a short pre-show chat.

While Gomez tried to get her 17 year-old boyfriend to talk about what he was wearing (red pants and cheetah shoes BTW) he thrust the snake at her. She shouted at him “Stop! I know!” clearly grossed out by the little reptile.

The two were laughing when she asked Bieber to tell everyone what he named the snake. Well, if you haven’t guessed by now, it’s “Johnson.”

In the end, Selena smiled and said “Thanks for hanging out with me, babe.” The Biebs seized his opportunity and planted a kiss on his girlfriend’s cheek. Cute!

Bieber also won an award – Best Male Video for his song “U Smile.”

The 2011 MTV VMAs had lots of gorgeous gals but Demi Lovato managed to make a stunning entrance in silver that turned everybody’s head.

The 19 year-old singer chose the metallic dress by Mandalay that had a deep v for a sexy peep at her cleavage.

Lovato’s long, flowing brown locks were left curly and highlighted in copper at the tips. She accented her shiny frock with more shiny baubles – bracelets and rings. Demi looked great!

Demi also caught up with BFF Selena Gomez on the black carpet at the pre-show and the “Skyscraper” singer met up with ex-boyfriend Joe Jonas.

Miley Cyrus is a showstopper at the 2011 MTV VMAs held at the Nokia Theatre LA Live Sunday night.

The 18 year-old singer chose a multi-print, curve hugging, blue with black long-sleeve, backless gown from Roberto Cavalli. She accented her look with Lorraine Schwartz jewelry.

Cyrus kept her hair pulled back for a more sophisticated look.

Miley was a presenter at the show. She took the podium with snowboard pro Shaun White to announce the winner of Best Rock Video.

Victoria Justice knocked everyone out in her red dress at the 2011 Do Something Awards that took place at The Hollywood Palladium last weekend.

The 19 year-old Nickelodeon star chose a very cute Jay Godfrey tiered & ruffled dress with leopard print peep toes for the blue carpet event celebrating the charitable works of celebrities.

At the ceremony, Justice was asked who she thought was the most influential person in music right now and the Victorious actress singled out Demi Lovato.

“I would have to say Demi Lovato is doing a really great job of that,” Justice told The Hollywood Reporter.

“Especially her coming out with all the things that she has opened up to the world about.  I think she is making a huge difference to other girls that are dealing with similar issues.

“Putting a face to the issues I think is a really important thing.  I think her music is reaching a lot of people as well.”

Victoria also said she will be visiting Africa sometime in the next week for her charity Girl Up!

Emma Stone is a firm believer in beauty comes from inside.

The Help actress spoke to YouBeauty.com earlier this month about her character Skeeter’s struggle with that elusive idea of inner beauty.

“I think at the beginning, understandably, she is deeply affected by her appearance and her mother’s disapproval of [her curly hair,]” Stone told the website.

“Skeeter was lucky enough to have Constantine [her family's maid,] who reminded her that she was beautiful and smart and could choose her life.”

Stone, 22, says that coming to terms with yourself is really how you become truly beautiful.

“Confidence is the only key. I know a lot of people who aren’t traditionally ‘beautiful’—not symmetrical or perfect-bodied or perfect-skinned. But none of that matters because all that shines through is their confidence, humor and comfort with themselves,” she says.

“If you know yourself and what you’re meant to do and you find a passion and purpose in life, that is true beauty.”
