Vanessa Hudgens stopped to pose on the red carpet at the premiere of her latest movie Sucker Punch, held at Grauman’s Chinese Theatre in Los Angeles on Wednesday evening.

The 22 year-old actress chose a long Jenny Packham dress with style influences from old Hollywood – much like the characters’ 40s costuming in the movie.

Hudgens just sat down with Ellen DeGeneres to talk about the movie and her dating status. Here’s what she had to say to the host:

Ellen: I know that you’re out of a relationship now. Are you friendly [with Zac Efron]? That’s hard to be in the business because you’re both successful and bound to run into each other.
Vanessa: No, we’re good. After being in a relationship with someone that long, you stay friends.
Ellen: How long were you together with Zac?
Vanessa: Five years.
Ellen: Five years. Wow, that’s a long time. But you’re friendly?
Vanessa: Yes.
Ellen: Are you single now or you dating?
Vanessa: Yes, I’m single.
Ellen: You’re single? But there’s a guy, I saw a picture of, that is saying you’re dating.
Vanessa: Can’t a girl have friends?
Ellen: Yes, they can. But there’s a guy that looks like he’s more than a friend.

Vanessa: Aww, I love him. We just did a movie together and we had the best time.

Vanessa and Josh have remained close friends after filming Journey 2 together and Hutcherson was spotted at the Sucker Punch after party, supporting his costar and friend.

Sucker Punch opens in theaters this Friday, March 25th.

Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens have reportedly ended their relationship. The two have been together since meeting on Disney’s High School Musical production in 2006 and have weathered Vanessa’s leaked photo scandal but the magic is gone according to E!Online’s Marc Malkin:

It’s nothing dramatic,” one source said. “There’s no third party involved.”
Says another source, “They were together for so long. It just ran its course.”

At least it’s amicable and there will be no sex tapes or nasty stuff being said about either.

They won’t have much free time to dwell on the split. Both have a lot of work ahead of them: Efron is currently filming The Lucky One and he has a number of films lined up with his newly formed production company Ninjas Runnin’ Wild. Hudgens is getting ready to go on the promotional trail for Beastly and Sucker Punch both due in early 2011.

Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart are hilarious as they crack each other up in the DVD commentary on the tent scene in The Twilight Saga: Eclipse. Pattinson is amused and then slightly annoyed, but joking as Jacob (Taylor Lautner) crawls in Bella’s (Stewart) sleeping bag for the infamous boyfriend/girlfriend jealous werewolf scene.

“God, he’s so gross. So brazen!” Rob says. “I really don’t like Jacob.”
“Aww,” Kristen says.
“Look at him and his tattoo and stuff. Ugh,” Rob scoffs.
“He’s just young and overzealous,” she says, in defense of the young wolf.
“He’s not!” Rob insists. “He does it on purpose. He’s looking at me when he’s saying this stuff.”
“Yeah, that is weird,” Kristen agrees.

The DVD is on sale December 4th. Hope there is lots more of Kristen & Robert’s playful banter and silly giggling! They are very cute together.

Lily Collins and Taylor Lautner have been flying waaaay under the radar as a couple for a few months now and Collins decided it’s time for Taylor to meet her folks. Lily’s dad is drummer Phil Collins and like my most fathers he keeps a close eye on who dates his little girl:

‘He (Phil)’s pretty tough on the guys Lily introduces him to,’ one insider revealed of the budding starlet’s protective dad.

‘Taylor was nervous about meeting him, but they got along well.’

The two met on the set of their film Abduction but didn’t start dating right away.

Collins has reportedly visited the Breaking Dawn set to spend time with Taylor and still the two manage to keep their dates out of the spotlight. Well played!

Ashley Tisdale and her boyfriend Scott Speer head out to breakfast at Mo’s Diner in California on Friday morning, November 26th. After the duo hosted Thanksgiving at her house, Friday was all about having someone else cook as they hit the popular restaurant the morning after.

Tisdale gets a little more time in Los Angeles with her boyfriend before heading back to Vancouver shortly to finish filming Hellcats before the Christmas break.

Building interest for the 2011 release of the movie, the studio is giving us this new featurette of I Am Number Four, the sci-fi action/thriller starring Dianna Agron and Alex Pettyfer.

Pettyfer plays John Smith, a young man who is running from a ruthless set of enemies from his home planet. Along the way he begins discovering his powers and meets Sarah, (Agron) the girl he falls in love with.

The movie will be in theaters on February 18, 2011.

Kellan Lutz and AnnaLynne McCord attended The Cheetah Vision, Hannibal Pictures & Emmett/Furla Films AMF Party on Friday November 5th. The event was held at Pier 59 Studios West in Santa Monica, California and Lutz and McCord were joined by celebs like Thomas Jane and 50 Cent.

Although their relationship recently ended, the exes were cordial to each other and even hugged.

Daniel Radcliffe is undergoing a transformation for the November issue of Dazed & Confused. (The editorial photo above gives off a Joker/demented King vibe and has a great creative/artsy feel to it.) The actor is headed back to Broadway to star in How To Succeed In Business Without Really Trying and says he is glad to be unattached:

‘I’ve been in relationships from the age of 14 and now I’m single. I said to a friend the other day, ‘Dude, I’m doing a show with dancers. I’ve got to be single.’ He was like, ‘Don’t sleep with anyone in your show. That’s a mistake.’ It’s good advice. But I’m not sure I’ll stick to it.’
